I'll echo LYNNE2's sentiments that a 2nd egg means we don't have all our eggs in one basket (appropriate, right?) and I think Shep and Belle can handle feeding 2. Watching Shep this week, I have no doubt that he'll do just fine with dad duties as well! This is SO great!

Wow, colors are beautiful this morning!! the sun is coming up on the nest and the nest rails and tree trunks look gold and brown, yet the snow has a bluish tint. Took a pic, but can't post it to the album from school (district filter doesn't allow me on the yahoo site). I'll see if I can post it to my blog.

We have had like 3 eggs laid and one or two of the dates be the same as another year but one would be off.
That is why I said if she only lays these 2 eggs. It is the first time all eggs where laid on the same date as another year.

Such wonderful EGG news!! I knew about it shortly after midnight, but POWER was out---most of the night. ARGH! Had to call Carolyn to call power co. (phone was out, too,, and cell was low on juice) and she had been watching at work!!
I see Shep just did a little egg roll and settling back down now.
Little sleep again. Did not have fire going so house cooled fast. Gas stove ran but no blower to disseminate heat well---and it caused smoke alarm to go off---had to go and take battery out of it. What a PIA.
Bill and Frank here working on garage door opener. Motor is FINE. So now they need to figure out WHAT the problem is.
JudyE---Annemarie's essay is NOT about a nerd! Hope that was a typo.

Garage door is fixed.....they THINK!! At least it's working. They found a warped bolt that may have been the culprit---time will tell!! A relief, because in my weakened state, lifting that sucker up and pulling it down was very hard. More great friends!!!!

Hmmmm....we've sure got some accommodating cops. Some lady called to say she got a mail notification that she had won $25M and she wants someone to look at it and see if it's legitimate, so a cop is responding to her house. "Protect and serve" has all kinds of meanings!!! Poor thing, I'm afraid, will be sadly disappointed.

I ran into Mosai who was filling in in the parking garage at work today. He and Tydissa were on the prayer list a few months ago because they were losing their jobs, but I found out today that both of them were hired on at a new location. Tydissa was especially fearful of losing his job because his English wasn't as good - they speak Ethiopian. Anyway, Mosai expressed his thanks today, to all, for the prayers.
Prayers for Lolly as she has her surgery today. Thinking of you, Lolly!
Update on FB: Dr. Parrish came in and said that my blood work all looks good. They are going to finish the cardiac workhorse and then start looking for other sources for this pain. Thank you all so much for all the prayers and well wishes. I love you all!

As of today they will continue to ween Tori off the vent and hopfully by end of week or monday have her extubated, didn't realize what a process it can be but they assured me all is well and this is normal for some patients
Dr. will see me tomorrow morning at 11. Glad I don't have to wait til next week.
Hope they get poor Sissy sttraightened out fast.
Poor Robyn---like being a yo-yo. Good that things are progressing on schedule, but wish they'd stop getting her hopes up and her nerves geared for a procedure, and then postpone it....:(

I have two yoga classes today and will go for tea with a friend after the first yoga class. It seems like a full day to me and we have a fresh dusting of snow so it looks pretty here...The skies are showing some blue too...this is always good.
LYNN I do hope they figure out what is what with the garage door and I am glad it is not the motor. Sorry that you did not get enough comfortable deep sleep and am very happy that you do not have a long wait to see the doctor...tomorrow will come soon enough...keep us posted.

May she have confidence and clarity of thought and may her words flow from her heart...PRAYING for ANNEMARIE and doing your best is all we can ask for. Sorry for being absent -out of town for weekend then home in time to turn around & head out for an unexpected funeral. Short week then heading out for weekend to spend time w/youngest grandson (3 1/2). Playing catch-up here.
Have been able to watch nest - SNOW - UGH, 2 EGGS - YEAH!!
Scanned blog regularly for wellness & prayer needs (Lolly, Lynn, Bev & others), but not stopping to comment. Will do better on that.

I never pay attention to split because of reading comments in email I minimize the blog and don't even see the number most of the times
