Not to get anyone's hopes up, but before the major poop shoot , when Belle was on the cup three times I saw wht I thought were contractions...so I thought to mention it and maybe it was just preparation for the poop shoot!!! I will wait on her, she knows what she is doing.
SANDI, I never saw the Momster home site until about this time last year. I missed out on some good stuff before doing a catch up. Somehow having three fledglings at the this nest, ever, went right over my head !

Carolyn was going to meet me, but she missed the alarm. Dr. has no idea what is wrong---it could be ANY of the things that I suspect. CT scan early next week.
Ate at Cracker Barrell by my lonesome. It was good, but I've been sick for the last hour. Ran a few errands....could not find a single Valentine that said Sister and Brother-in-Law. ARGH. Got home and garage door not working again. It went up about 2 feet, so had to crawl in the operate the emergency cord.
Got in the house and got an optical migraine so went to sofa....Liesl was not cooperative. She wanted to dig and climg and tunnel in the the blanket. Gave up and went to tub and soaked for an hour. Then started getting sick. SO.....there you have it. It is snizzling.....and I need to build a fire as soon as I ffwl a little better about bending over! Thanks for all your concern.
As for RT for Tori, they may be doing some chest percussion to loosen secretions, a nd probably doing some inspirometer blowing to help inflate the lungs.
Hoda - we'll keep a very close watch on Belle. Tomorrow could be an egg laying
date or early early hours after midnight. I feel like we are going to

Until a year ago I paid no attention to chats, just watched the eagles for a while each day here, at NBG, OK and Hornby. When the Liberty, Belle, Intruder saga began to unfold last year I became intensely interested in what was being said. I soon found this blog to be the most informative source and knew in a hurry I wanted to be a part of such a wonderful group of people ! So glad ! It's been a wonderful year for this Wildlife lover !

My first year was my best year. It was 2008. I started watching a FL cam, then found my way here. Lurked for a while and finally jumped in. Three eaglets that year. I thought every year would be successful like that year. Had a lot to learn!!

No, not Nooks nither. They are Super Novas by Pandigital. Just called and asked Joseph. Apparently he was reading as he had it in his hands.
Joseph is in 5th grade and Jacob a first grader. Laurel teaches 6 grade reading.
Shirley - any chance the toenail had to be removed? Maybe it got pulled back -
perhaps clipping Hunter's nails closer
would eliminate any problems such as this. ♥

The only thing about that tablet is that it is not easy to figure it out. Understand the ipad is easy, but this is a lot cheaper. Also, just before Christmas, the last couple of days, Ashley stood at the front of a line to get them on a great sale. We loved her demonstration of how she stood in line. LOL

Lolly== great that your eye is coming along and that your grandsons are readers. I was always aa reader but neither of my children are. I don't think my husband read a book after he was required to in school. I guess he was their example.

My Mom is doing a bit better, I guess. Her blood count was dangerously low so I agreed to a blood transfusion--2 units. They did something I had never seen before and in the last few years I've been around a lot of that sort of thing.==They heated the blood as it was being infused. When I explained it to Mom she said it sounded too creepy to her..

Jack and I are big readers. We have bookcases in every room. Jack always has several books going at a time, me, one at a time.
Laurel is a huge reader and teaches reading. Michael, our intelligent son, never reads!! They do not have a bookcase in their huge home. Do not understand it. ???? Ashley reads her Kindle. Michael, who has given everyone a Kindle or tablet does not own one.
I do understand that as an attorney, he is very busy, works late. He also reads a lot with his work, but still, you would think he would enjoy recreational reading.
Gracious me...in The Nelson Star paper there is a picture of a cougar which was sighted in town last Friday...Apparently ther are one or two cougars who have come into town as they follow the deer coming down the mountains for food...The cougar was chased up a tree by a dog and that is the picture they have in the paper...I love living here...
It does look like snow is coming down on Belle. Bles her! It is really hard to see her and with this eye of mine....REALLY hard!

I have seen cougar and Lynx how how fast they are and how MAJESTIC...ther eis no other way to describe them...I have never seen a bobcat LOLLY, must have been quite the experience to spot it...

Miss Belle just got up and did na egg roll and I saw two eggs...
One of the cougars I saw was at night time when I was in Alberta JO. I had gotten out of the car to stretch and I had seen somthing with the side of my eyes in the bush...was not sure what it was...It showed itself and it was a cougar across the road. I looked at it for a while standing still and then clicked that I should probably be wise to get back in the car. So very carefully I moved slowly towards the open door and watched it till it disappeared in the woods again...It would be breath taking to see one live again and yes I have a great deal of respect for all things nature and I will be careful JO.

Laurel has decided not to come tomorrow. :( Joey is not going on his trip. She really wanted to come, maybe next weekend. They are going out instead. They are going to let Joseph "babysit". Joey is taking Laurel out for a Valentine dinner, they will not be gone long. The boys will watch a movie.
I think I am going to go do an early shower. I'll be back, but really need to rest my eyes from looking at this computer screen.

I treated myself to a wonderful candle at CB. Christie had told me about getting some at the ski resort.....it's got a wooden wick. They are cslled Woodwick! I got Patchouli which is probably my most favorite scent in the world!!

LYNN, have you lit the WoodWick candle? It makes a nice crackling sound while burning. Of course, you have that crackling wood sound anytime you want with your fireplace. I love the convenience of our gas fireplaces but DO miss the sound and smell of a real fire!
Hard for me to stay awake thru Gifted Man so I will have to watch Blue Bloods tomorrow. Looks like just a dusting of snow at the nest so far.

Glad to see our eagles are doing what eagles do, and doing it very well!
Has stopped snowing here, now temps are dropping and wind is rising. About 9° now with wind chills around zero - much colder by morning.

Home from doctor's.
They cleaned Hunter's toe. We had not been able to do that. He would not let us near. Then they bandaged it and gave him a special shoe to wear. He will need to be seen again in three days. There is some concern that the nail bed could be injured, which will require a specialist.
Will and I stopped at a kabob place and picked up our dinner. We were plenty hungry by the time we got home. Will has already gone, and Kathryn and I are ready to crash.
Will helped Hunter to get upstairs to his room.
Lynne2---I DID know that about the feathers. When we went up to SLeepy creek to check out the eagles there we found four feather on the shoreline.....a DNR officer was there, so we gave them to him. Wonder if he did what he's supposed to do, or threw them away? He wasn't much more than a kid...

its been a busy week. my young en has had an ear infection, so that was one day home. i caught up on some house work. been tired all week.....went to bed early every night.
felt better today. work has been slow. i was home an hour early today and yesterday. would think about goign to bed soon as i have a busy day tomrrow; but oldest and her crew are on the way over to use the hot tub.
oh well. am taking a partner yoga/thai yoga massage class with my friend tomorrow night. looking forward to that.
started reading a new book : Deepak Chopra 'LIFE AFTER DEATH". fascintating so far. i love reading about this subject.
anyway, just wanted to touch base. belle looks so cold in her nest. such dedication, to sit on those eggs, in the cold and snow. i know they don't "think" about it, but i do .... brrrrr.....

I do the same have my email from the Animal Rescue emailed to me daily so much easier that way its a great reminder when you first get it It is usually emailed at 4am in the morning I am sure its all automated but I have been doing it that way and you can click on all the links the tabs for other causes

The only mishap today is HUNTER fell and had to go to the hospital maybe broke his toes...he is home now.
LYNN was not feeling too good today but she went to bed feeling a bit better. Dr does not know what is up in terms of her questions.

I'm finally sort of caught up here--boy, lots of posts! Got our shopping at Trader Joe's and Petco done. Ate at Wendy's. By the time we got home, I was tired! Now that Emma is tucked in for the night, I think I will veg in front of the new TV for a while.
