I am so amazed that they are still in nest long time for snowy nest visit
BTW, someone on the OC forum posted yesterday morning that Shep brought in the fish and then Belle took it when she landed. I didn't see his arrival with my own eyes and DANAWV, you think Belle brought the fish in. So, I would still like to SEE Shep show up with a fish to know that he's over that next hurdle!

OK I got a few min of petting time for Benny and then she came along to play and they are playing again HE will come up to me and rub on my leggs and when he does that he wants petted and we move to couch he doesn't seem to want to sit on lap on chair but beside me on couch So I am back for a bit
Belle looks like a statue now no moving at all
Benny just put her in her place I guess he just wants to chill in the middle of kitchen on the rug and she wanted to play well a big couple of HISSes and now they both are laying still
just read the forcast hi 44 today but I looks like its still snowing I see a few flakes now or is it falling off trees?????

Judye, my new kitty isn't much of a lap sitter. He was when I first got him. I guess I shooed him off my lap too many times while I was eating. He does like to snuggle in bed though. And especially at 430 am he sits on my face or neck.
Wondering if today might be the day for an egg?

Snowing here; started again around 5. Not any appreciable accumulation since it re-started, and doubt that there will be. It's very wet, Temp is 32°.
Agree that the blue tint earlier was due to weather and the nightlight that ISN'T!!
Have one lone male cardinal on the corn with the squirrels. Rare that he would be solo. Surely cards aren't nesting yet!
Too lazy to check back but I think Belle arrived around 6:45am and hasn't left. Almost 2 hours, yet she's been standing, not settling in the egg cup. Morning Thelma!

I put picture in Feb. album there are some that have the blue tint. JudyE I did put a picture in. Not showing HP but said that JudyE (I think I said) Caught HP and put the time. Didn't put one in about 2nd HP darn. Well I haven't had that much sleep and my fingers are doing things I don't want them to do. So that is it.

Weather in So Cal: beautiful, clear, but desertish and dry. Winds are supposed to come up later.
Eyes: better each day; I'm able to read some of the small print now if I hold it at a distance. I've been using a 6X magnifier with a 10X loupe for most reading, and it was getting veeeerrrrry difficult with that.

was cruising through some of the past "February Nest" pictures that I have saved over the last few years
very interesting, including the different views we have had on the cam over the years
I fed the squirrels. One little guy stayed and listened to me talk to him and showed some interest in the peanuts I threw towards him. I waited until he left to approach the fence where I put the food.
One squirrel is not munching away, and George is watching through the window with great interest.
Snowing again in Sheptown I see.
