It was a very stressful couple of weeks. They kept putting off the surgery because she had a cough. Grandpa and grandma were a wreck and mom was crying. I'm so glad it all went well for them. They posted some adorable pictures to facebook of Kaitlyn ready to jump out of the bed since she found out she can go home. They now have a 90 minute ride back to Hagerstown.
Thanks for the comment Jo on the pictures of Annemarie and Olivia. I'm so sad that they are not going to the same school, but they have big plans of walking and meeting each other after school and going to each others games and such. Her mom and I bawled like babies the other day and I can't imagine how we are going to be at graduation!
@Sandi-in reference to you comment the other day about Annemarie and the boys being in the same school with me, it's never been an issue. As a matter of fact I have had several of the other teacher's children in my class. Last year Annemarie had a teacher for homeroom whose son I had in kindergarten. We are so used to it because it's such a small school I guess. The kindergarten parents probably worry more than those of us with older students. And there are times when we have stories to tell but they are usually funny!

That leaves a wrinkled patch of bare skin that blood vessels fill with warm blood. When we see the female or male “wiggle” as they settle upon the eggs, they are spreading that bare patch over the eggs to keep them warm.

I was up late watching for an egg to drop and have had the cam up most of the day. When Belle left, I had brunch and got my shower. Am now refreshed but have to think about supper for teh guys.
I'm taking the laptop to the kitchen to watch the cam but haven't caught up on the blog and won't be able from there, but will try.

Ben is so pretty. Girly I really like wagging her tail. We had a cat called Tabatha was a girl. I'm allergic to cats. When daughter left home cat was too old for the move. Ed and me kept her. Of course I was the one to clean out the litter box. Mask and gloves. Love her meow to your cats (: ENJOY!!

JUDY, LOL, we misunderstood your question re:what is flugg ! The experts say eagles use sticks, soft mosses, feathers, grasses, and leaves to build their nests. So yes, most of what we see in the middle is grass.
I'll try to stay up as late as I can, Linda, but I have a feeling that everyone will be happier to see me at 3:30 in the morning - and that will be so fun for me to have company at that hour.
Kay they even find in the nest (those that go up in one or a nest that has fallen down) bones; turtles, squirrel, rabbit, deer, birds, fish and other sorts of things. They are all entwined with the nesting materials.

Yes, DANAWV, once a nest has been in place for years they are a depository for a lot of things. There is no telling what is below the surface at Sycamore Palace. I hope we never find out as that would mean the nest had to be dismantled or the tree fell...things we do not want to see happen !!!!!!

I need to get from WalMart one of the things you hang inside on your furnace filter. They have different scents. I can only do the Tropical one. The other scents in them bother my allergies. We have skunks around here and every night they come out and they spray. It is like the are inside and spray. I have to use the Febreeze and spray it on the furnace filter and the nice scent comes all through the house.
Them spraying really makes me sick. When Little Man was alive and one sprayed and it smelt inside here. He would come to me whining and sneezing. I had the tropical on the furnace filter the smell left real fast.
You should try those they make your hold house smell nice and last a long time.

Yoga studio in an airport is a wonderful idea JUDYE. They shoulod have them in all airports really.
I signed up for Tuesday evening and Thursday evening yoga classes. So on those days I will go to yoga twice a day at noon and in the evening...I am very pleased because it is with one of my favourite yoga teachers and she is simply marvelous..So Monday Tuesday and Thursday evenings I have yoga for an hour and a half in the evening and this might increase the good cholestoral as LYNN said I needed more excercise to do so...
Cute little Zoey was on the news. She told her parents that Brownie took her for a walk. She said she got wet and cold, but had fun fun fun. She really is cute.

I was up late watching for an egg to drop and have had the cam up most of the day. When Belle left, I had brunch and got my shower.
Am now refreshed but have to think about supper for teh guys.
I'm taking the laptop to the kitchen to watch the cam but haven't caught up on the blog and won't be able from there, but will try.

Ben is so pretty. Girly I really like wagging her tail. We had a cat called Tabatha was a girl. I'm allergic to cats. When daughter left home cat was too old for the move. Ed and me kept her. Of course I was the one to clean out the litter box. Mask and gloves. Love her meow to your cats (: ENJOY!!

With that shabby attempt at HP, I felt sorry for poor Belle! Here we all are sitting at our computers watching and she's being shoved face-first into the flugg!! But she just shook it off!
I should move on toward the kitchen to figure out what's for dinner, to the 'den' to hear what's happened in the world today...But, I'm sitting here and having no pain in my hip or back, so afraid to move at all...Besides eagle watching is so much fun !

JUDY, LOL, we misunderstood your question re:what is flugg ! The experts say eagles use sticks, soft mosses, feathers, grasses, and leaves to build their nests. So yes, most of what we see in the middle is grass.
I'll try to stay up as late as I can, Linda, but I have a feeling that everyone will be happier to see me at 3:30 in the morning - and that will be so fun for me to have company at that hour.

Kay they even find in the nest (those that go up in one or a nest that has fallen down) bones; turtles, squirrel, rabbit, deer, birds, fish and other sorts of things. They are all entwined with the nesting materials.

Yes, DANAWV, once a nest has been in place for years they are a depository for a lot of things. There is no telling what is below the surface at Sycamore Palace. I hope we never find out as that would mean the nest had to be dismantled or the tree fell...things we do not want to see happen !!!!!!
Boy, Lori, I can relate to that one in the past couple years. I don't like it, but I can't see a darn thing at night anymore without bright light.

LORI and LINDA, in a few years you'll join we older folks in having cataract surgery. It restores eyesight to 20/20 and makes night driving feasible and comfortable once again ! It's truly a miracle surgery !

Lori a lot of times in the car when Ed was driving. He would have one hand on my leg.
One day since he went to Be With His Lord. I was driving up I-81 towards Winchester. I jumped because I felt something like a hand on my leg. Then I remembered and I said, "aww So you are here huh...I love having you ride along with me honey. Later I felt him say, "I be doing that like I use to do again sometime". I said, "Ok Baby see you later I love you."
I bought a rotisserie chicken for tonight. Lazy! I love the rotisserie chicken and will steam brocolli and squash to go with it.

What a beautiful day it is today. A day made in heaven indeed. Fresh snow on the mountains, the skies are clear and we can see the glaciers and the contrast with blue is breath taking...Warm enough to sit in a coffee house outside and have a chat...I visited after yoga nad it was simply GRAND .

I need to get from WalMart one of the things you hang inside on your furnace filter. They have different scents. I can only do the Tropical one. The other scents in them bother my allergies. We have skunks around here and every night they come out and they spray. It is like the are inside and spray. I have to use the Febreeze and spray it on the furnace filter and the nice scent comes all through the house.
Them spraying really makes me sick. When Little Man was alive and one sprayed and it smelt inside here. He would come to me whining and sneezing. I had the tropical on the furnace filter the smell left real fast.
You should try those they make your hold house smell nice and last a long time.
so HODA if you fly make sure you fly via San Francisco its free also It was a passengers idea and lots of people love it and lots of people have missed flights too LOL

I think I am going to move north to be with Hoda! I am hot! We turned the AC on in the car today. Sitting here now at 6 and it is 69, the back door is wide open.
Our weather radio has gone off three times today, once for tornado watch and three times for thunder storms, but they are all way north of us.
Oh Lori God allows Ed to be around here. I never know when until it happens but it is a lot of times.
I can get in bed. It is funny because I am in my single bed. lol
Sometimes I will feel him up against my back with his head against the back of my head. Hearing him say, "Move over so I got some room so I can just hold you". That is so funny too because he always slept with his back to my back. Then when he got real sick I had to get myself a single bed.
God knows as Ed told me one time He Is Lonesome For Me. I think that deep enter love God allows him to be with me at times.
Yoga studio in an airport is a wonderful idea JUDYE. They shoulod have them in all airports really.
I signed up for Tuesday evening and Thursday evening yoga classes. So on those days I will go to yoga twice a day at noon and in the evening...I am very pleased because it is with one of my favourite yoga teachers and she is simply marvelous..So Monday Tuesday and Thursday evenings I have yoga for an hour and a half in the evening and this might increase the good cholestoral as LYNN said I needed more excercise to do so...
Cute little Zoey was on the news. She told her parents that Brownie took her for a walk. She said she got wet and cold, but had fun fun fun. She really is cute.

Moon doesn't set til around 4AM at the nest so, as long as it doesn't get too cloudy, it should be easy to see Belle tonight if she shows up. I'll be keeping the cam up all night on my computer, that's for sure. Off for some pizza and TV right now!
