Dinner is in the oven. Linda, it is a very simple recipe for chicken breasts. Dip in mixture of melted butter and garlic and then into a mixture of parmesan cheese, bread crumbs and fresh chopped parsley. Roll up, place in baking dish, sprinkle with lemon juice and bake at 350 for 45 min. Very yummy!
Margy, leaving here at 11. Christie gets off work at noon, and we will hit the road by 12:30. Shannon is going to dog-sit so Liesl won't be here alone for so long! If we aren't out of Drs. office by 3:30, we will stay there and get an early dinner and wait out the rush hour traffic.

Yes, HODA, my own eyes saw one eagle in the nest. I went to the blog to see if anyone had posted it and no one had...so I checked and it was still there and I posted Eagle Alert... Most definitely as eagle in our nest tonight...no doubt.

He had a colonoscopy yesterday and got really sick last night, admitted to hospital with elevated white blood cell count and high fever...think it's related to procedure. Could be a pinhole from it even. READ FAST before this goes away! LOL!

My doctor always warns about puncturing might happen with a colonoscopy, I always have to have this conversation and sign a waver releasing him from responsibility...easy to happen and they do not even know they did it till the fever starts.
NO DANAMO LYNN has a doctor's appointment a consult and she hopes to get the date of the surgery during this meeting. She will go home after the consult, no surgery tomorrow...
Lynne2-yes the animal pics are from a trail cam that we move to different areas around the feeder. Sometimes out in the yard pointing towards cottage, other times on a porch post pointing out into yard. Also have an internet camera that I can view the cottage yard from home. So able to see the more timid ones that come when we're not there.
Wanda (costumelady) and Lynn (hedgie) have trail cams too. I sure hope I can get one someday! I just can't get over the shedding velvet buck! If I remember correctly, that process is somewhat painful for them, and they feel very vulnerable and tend to stay hidden.
Linda, there is a site on FB called Crockin' Girls and they have some very cool recipes for the crock pot that may offer some new inspiration for dinners!
Good point CarloAnne brought up about the muscles...maybe a mild muscle relaxer would offer some relief. AND, you can take Tylenol with Motrin safely, so if you are not, and would rather not take the narcotic painkiller, you could try that as well. I often take both for my back and knees.
Lots of confusion with the posts tonight, but at least we know what happened with Lori's Dad. Prayers that he will be feeling better soon and can go home.

Today, when I was ready to go vote, I told him to do his homework while I went. I told him not to turn on the television.
I voted and made a very quick trip to the grocery store. When I got home, I could see him through the window.
The rascal was scampering around, putting the remote back on the table by my recliner. When I walked into the house, he claimed he was looking for his bookbag. For an hour?
Turns out he had eaten almost a whole jar of pickles--only one left--in addition to watching cartoons.
He did finish the homework later. And the truth is, his report card was mostly A's with a sprinkling of B's.

Linda, since you seem to get some relief from a hot shower, have you tried one of those "bean bag" type things filled with rice or flax seeds, that you heat in the microwave? I have a couple of them with flax seeds & lavender inside, and they are very soothing.
Lolly, sorry to hear about Blanco. My, what a long life, though! Blanco has had excellent doggy parents. Prayers for their aching hearts.

Have been very busy today. Miss Emma has been very clingy, too. She seems to be perfectly healthy, though, so I'm not worried about her. She has wanted a lot of lap time, and those sad eyes are hard to ignore!
The gardeners were here today, and they sure had their work cut out for them! Bags, bags, and MORE bags of leaves are piled up along our side fence, and 2 big (120 gal.) trash cans full! At least we can now find our patio! I'll take a picture tomorrow of what it looks like now. We still have lots of leaves on the grass, which they didn't mow. It didn't grow enough to need mowing, though. Hopefully, we won't get any more winds before next week, and they will finish the job.
Think I'm going to go veg in front of the TV. Have said prayers for everyone, and every creature. Making sure the porch light is on. Putting both security systems in night mode. Sleep well, everyone. God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! :o]

Wow...didn't realize I didn't sign off last night or visit today! Busy, busy, crazy busy. Too tired to talk about it. I skimmed the blog to catch a glimps of today's happenings and see that you, LYNN, have your Doctor appointment tomorrow...you know you have my prayers with you as you plan the next step to bring you back to wellness! I, too, have an appointment tomorrow to discuss what should be done about my knee. Also have a dental appt. My new crown is not feeling so good. It is not really painful...it is a bit sensitive and it pulsates as though I have a little heart beating within it:) Weird!

Sorry I haven't commented about my Mothers doctors appointment.
I was suppose to call her at 10pm so she could watch a show on tv but I was exhausted and fell asleep on couch. Just woke a little bit ago. Mothers doctor said I was right Arthritis very bad throughout her body. She had gone off the Aleve so doctor could check her out good. So she could make sure what was wrong. Once it was out of her system her pain got worse and she couldn't hardly move her hands and arm and fingers. He told her to go back on the Aleve. Watch for any signs of bleeding. So they are giving it 2 weeks if not better and pain has eased some. She is to call him. He told her in an emergenc=y ust call the office and he will get her in.
Sorry I have just been exhausted with worry. Plus going in and doing things for her has set my junky body off.
Lori so sorry about your Dad. I always am afraid of that since I have to have mind every 3 yrs. due to cancer cells. Praying that he heals and goes home very soon.
Lynn as I have said many times..paryers and angels ^j^ go wsith you tomorrow.

My knee pain was not getting better so I called my ortho and he saw me yesterday. Took xrays and needed MRI, which I had done today. I'm in terrible pain and the MRI agravated it. The ortho thinks I torn my meniscus. Waiting to hear the next step but think I know what it'll be.

Me helping her....that woman has cared for so many other people. Just doing it for the Lord. I am proud of her....she is a good woman and has shown God that through her walk with him that most don't know that part of her.
I will never let anyone but her in a nursing home. I will get someone to help me with her because of my illness. Through God ANYTHING can be accomplished. Well at least I know God will allow that ( :

Good Wonderful Morning to you DanaMo ( : Thank you so much I hope it does again too. She wanted to try that again. Instead of him writing her a prescription. He is a wonderful doctor. I have been going to him since I was 16. When lived in other states and they couldn't help me. I would come back and visit him. He would always get it worked out where I got somewhat improved.
Mother wants to stay in her house as long as she can. I can close mine up and come check on it. Stay in there with her and get somebody to help me. That way I know what is going on with her the whole time. I don't want anyone to be mean to her that takes care of her. My uncle had to be in a nursing home while my Mothers sister stayed near Johns Hopkins for breast cancer treatment, then other cancer treatments...it just seem once she got rid of cancer in one place she would get it in another. So when she would come back to her home in Virginia. Mother would go there and take care of her.
DanaWV, sure hope there will be relief for your Mother soon... so good you can help out...

A few days ago LOLLY said she saw an eagle and she took it back today because she discovered it was a picture on her computer.

Hunter Story: He is getting to the point that he wants us to leave him at home alone for short periods.
Today, when I was ready to go vote, I told him to do his homework while I went. I told him not to turn on the television.
I voted and made a very quick trip to the grocery store. When I got home, I could see him through the window.
The rascal was scampering around, putting the remote back on the table by my recliner. When I walked into the house, he claimed he was looking for his bookbag. For an hour?
Turns out he had eaten almost a whole jar of pickles--only one left--in addition to watching cartoons.
He did finish the homework later. And the truth is, his report card was mostly A's with a sprinkling of B's.

Linda, since you seem to get some relief from a hot shower, have you tried one of those "bean bag" type things filled with rice or flax seeds, that you heat in the microwave? I have a couple of them with flax seeds & lavender inside, and they are very soothing.
Lolly, sorry to hear about Blanco. My, what a long life, though! Blanco has had excellent doggy parents. Prayers for their aching hearts.
Lori, sorry to hear about your Dad's infection! Prayers for a speedy healing. Hope he is able to go home very soon!

Have been very busy today. Miss Emma has been very clingy, too. She seems to be perfectly healthy, though, so I'm not worried about her. She has wanted a lot of lap time, and those sad eyes are hard to ignore!
The gardeners were here today, and they sure had their work cut out for them! Bags, bags, and MORE bags of leaves are piled up along our side fence, and 2 big (120 gal.) trash cans full! At least we can now find our patio! I'll take a picture tomorrow of what it looks like now. We still have lots of leaves on the grass, which they didn't mow. It didn't grow enough to need mowing, though. Hopefully, we won't get any more winds before next week, and they will finish the job.

Sorry I haven't commented about my Mothers doctors appointment.
I was suppose to call her at 10pm so she could watch a show on tv but I was exhausted and fell asleep on couch. Just woke a little bit ago. Mothers doctor said I was right Arthritis very bad throughout her body. She had gone off the Aleve so doctor could check her out good. So she could make sure what was wrong. Once it was out of her system her pain got worse and she couldn't hardly move her hands and arm and fingers. He told her to go back on the Aleve. Watch for any signs of bleeding. So they are giving it 2 weeks if not better and pain has eased some. She is to call him. He told her in an emergenc=y ust call the office and he will get her in.
Sorry I have just been exhausted with worry. Plus going in and doing things for her has set my junky body off.
Lori so sorry about your Dad. I always am afraid of that since I have to have mind every 3 yrs. due to cancer cells. Praying that he heals and goes home very soon.

My knee pain was not getting better so I called my ortho and he saw me yesterday. Took xrays and needed MRI, which I had done today.
I'm in terrible pain and the MRI agravated it. The ortho thinks I torn my meniscus. Waiting to hear the next step but think I know what it'll be.

I have been going to him since I was 16. When lived in other states and they couldn't help me. I would come back and visit him. He would always get it worked out where I got somewhat improved.

Mother wants to stay in her house as long as she can. I can close mine up and come check on it. Stay in there with her and get somebody to help me. That way I know what is going on with her the whole time. I don't want anyone to be mean to her that takes care of her. My uncle had to be in a nursing home while my Mothers sister stayed near Johns Hopkins for breast cancer treatment, then other cancer treatments...it just seem once she got rid of cancer in one place she would get it in another. So when she would come back to her home in Virginia. Mother would go there and take care of her.
