We decided to save the mince pie for after dinner tonight.
Golly, we're supposed to be having rain here, but nothing so far. The air feels very "heavy" and damp,and it's fairly cold out. (Think it's only supposed to get up to 58 today.)
Guess I'd better water patio plants after all. Perhaps that will "prime the pump" and get the rain started!

Aha! It worked! Got all the gallon-size water bottles filled and ready to water plants, and lo and behold: it is now RAINING! We have a bunch of birds eating seeds off the table out back, too. A six minute visit DANAMO. They were there for over an hour earlier the middle of the afternoon. Some good reporting of the long visit.

JO, I only had two activities today. I went to yoga and then did my groceries. I am glad to be home and I am doing the laundry and talked on the phone with friends and family. Carol and her family will be in Maine for Thanksgiving and she wanted me to know so I could phone her on that day...She is my American sister and I am very grateful for her in my life. She has a great family of her own and she is still grieving the loss of her oldest son in 2004. We talk often...I will talk to another friend in a few minutes and I have known her since 1980 when we both lived in Alberta.
The best part of my day was doing my prayers and my meditation. I know gratitude. I like your pictures on FB JO.
That is so mysterious LYNNE about LORI'S disappearig post. I did not see it on here at all.
