We were in the kitchen last night with Nugz, and John was laying on the floor with him when Truder and Belle showed up. That is how I ended up posting about it last night. I also did a video. Here it is

hedgie/Lynn yes there is a postal strike in Canada a rotating postal strike. Mail is now delivered only three times a week and I sent a letter with receipts to my insurance company yesterday. They are in Alberta, the next provice over, and it cost me ten dollars and fifty cents...they would not gurantee delivery other wise because of the rotating strike. In a sense they locked out the workers and the governement made arrangements for their cheques to be delivered, yet for any private business we are all on our own...no one knows how long this all will last...I am glad my pension cheque is depostied electronically.
Yes the eagle fishing last night was a wonderful experience and I do feel blessed that I was witness to it...The mystery of life unolding and there is power and grace...
And in all of it Praises to the Lord on High with Gratitude for all of our blessings and within our losses a knowing of His Abundant Grace.
It is amazing to me how different it feels watching these 2 as compared to Lib and Belle. Don't have that warm, loving feeling yet. Hopefully it will come with time.

I think I am only seeing three kestrel "baby" hawks in the nest

And just found out we were under severe weather all day while I was at work it is all south of us now Hail 60 -75 mph wind gust and some rain suppose to be same tomorrow I thought it looked odd at work overcast but never thought of tornado and storm warning
Judy E I rather like the idea that they could visit the nest when we are not watching them, yet do not think there are very many times when there is not someone who is watching the cam feed. I have it on most of the day I am sure others do too...cool thought, I like it.
I am glad that Paula will be with a friend tonight

I am such a chicken on downloading things I did the real player on year to view something with the eagles and it has taken over my computer everything opens with it not my Windows Media player I sitll have it and can play stuff of it but the Real Player is its own entity LOL No I love it it allows my video to play in my screen saver mode so when I have my screen saver on it shows my pictures and video in my album I choose to play. I use to do my whole file 38,898 pictures in it now. During eagle season I don't have it on only on off season Love seeing all the pictures from my vacations over the years Pictures of my parents and some of me growing up to.

Judy E you watch the trial and probably have an opinion as to guilt or innocence. I can not make heads or tails from what i read about it. I do not have TV. Hard for me to imagine that a person is not mentaly ill if they kill their own...she does not look too stable to me from her pictures...tell me what you think is going on, if you have a chance and if you do not think it would be imposing on this blog...I also read about a mother who put her kid in the micro wave for two minutes!!! She has to be mentally ill too. Never found out what the ruling was for her...

I wanted to watch the whole trial which I have since the beginning being I live here it is always on the news She reminds me of Susan Smith the mother that drove her boys in the river and lied about it and grieved on TV She is one sick puppy she is so jealous of her own daughter that she did kill her, and she can't blame being molested as a child by her father that happened to me and my sister and we both are fine there are millions of cases and they don;t kill their kids I believe she is guilty but have gone in to it with an open mind Makes me mad is that there is a vital WITNESS that can't testify because she sold her story for 20T She is Casey X best friend and Casey told her about it saying she wanted an abortion and when they were young they would bury their pets in that part of the neighbor hood You can watch it online I think You should google it Our MyFoxTampaBay has great coverage on the news every night so I see some of the trial watching news before I actually watch the whole thing I still think she is guilty THE CANS are mentioned today the Jury will get to smell them when the retire to deliberate
If you watch her she is always wiping her eyes but yet you see no tears at all and she isn't sobbing her shoulder don't move like someone who is sobbing she hides her face in her lawyers shoulder all the time with a tissue in her hand Her eyes really never look puffy and if you watch she never blows her nose who around he can cry without blowing your nose.
She lies so much that she actually believes all her lies She makes up people and their lives and stick with it

My Dear Sweet Paula I am at your comment about your Beloved Nugz. You and John and family gave so much love and friendship to Nugz. He knew he was "loved". I think God allowed him to sleep in your's and John's arms. You gave him a wonderful time at "The Paradise Beach House". I think he so much loved you taking him there. I share your tears and feel your heartache. My prayers now that Nugz is crossed Rainbow Bridge and is with Boo. That in time your heart will ease little by little. It will take time my dear friend. I do want to thank you for sharing both Boo and Nugz with me/other blogger friends. You have even given us memories to carry with us.
You have plenty of memories I know.

Well, I have lost 5 pounds in 3 weeks! Not as much as I had hoped, but a good start! I am unable to exercise. My right knee is still very sore as is the tendon on the side, and very swollen. I'm going to call the Dr in the AM and see how much a visit is with no insurance. UGH.

Worked late, did some exploring & just finished dinner.Trying to find some historic pics of Chelsea Farm, Mansion, etc. Couldn't get a new pic of old mansion, as they are doing some work on it & it looks yucky. Have an older pic I found in ancient 'puter.

I had to switch days off, and managed squeak in one day on registration AFTER the deadline...
5 pounds in three weeks is good, especially not excercising. I usually average 2 lbs a week with excercise. Keep it up!

"THE Bird" was on top of the limb over the traffic light when I was heading into town....with his black back to me! Not enough light up there on the way home to see anything. I really think she has a nest in that hollowed out limb.
Mits and Jay are now winging their way to Portland! Just going over SD now....about 3 hrs. left in their flight.
Margy, did you hear about the big wreck on 9E up on the mountain outside Charles Town early this AM? One ftality, 2 others with life-threatening injuries. 2 airlifted to Inova Fx., 2 to Jefferson by ambulance and then flown to Winchester. Started as a police chase in Loudon Co. but he had broken off the chase when he crossed state line. 3 cars involved.
Wow it was a good visit even though they seemed to be fighting at least three rounds and Belle won each one...Way to go Miss Belle.
Lynne 2 well done on losing weight...five pounds in three weeks...wow make sure you stay healthy and don't get run off your feet with the two jobs and looking after in laws when you were supposed to go camping...I trust your good sense that you will not wear yoursef out...keep drinking lots of water too.

I forgot to give this report last night!
I called Normabyrd and talked to her for a little bit. She has been to Florida on vacation, her granddaughter or maybe great-granddaughter graduated from grade school and they went to see her. The weather was great and there were lots of really "good looking" men who were willing to help her when she needed it! :-)
She said she was going to get her computer straightened out because she misses us a lot.
Megan gave me a flat of "To Be Rescued and Planted" Flowering Tobacco - 6 plants, Purple - already in bloom, I had to deadhead all but three blooms -

I was just on the phone daughter called from Colorado. Told me about this young bird she seen. She gave me a neat site. We were both using it together. I think she found the bird "a young gyrfalcon". Neat without me getting her involved in birds. She is doing it herself. She said, "Mom I just have to find out what this bird was". Did not give up until she found the picture and the call of it that she heard. It was only feet away from her. She tried taking a picture to show me. It didn't turn out darn she said.

As far as the bird reports, I was just thinking about that today that I need to report. So far, I have had cardinals, mourning doves, sparrows, house finches, goldfinches, Mr. Towhee, blue jays, robins, Alvin, Simon and Theodore and a few squirrels. I have what I think is some kind of warbler building a nest in a bird house on the front of Andrew's play house.
Margy she knows they are called yucca plants but he always calls them "wedding bells" hee hee
Oh the pest behind her doesn't like them. Told her to "cut them down"!!!
She has now got to take a tape recorder outside with her.
