Hi, Everyone, I've made it home from school. Got my "business flyer" and resume with cover letter turned in. My teacher liked the flyer! Just have a transcription test on Thursday, and I'm done for the quarter. We have next week off, and the 21st off for Presidents' Day, then the new quarter starts on Tuesday, 2/22. I'll be starting my Externship, and I have an English class--the second half of the English class I just finished up last night. Lynn, I am SOOOO glad that Mai is just trying to play! I'm sure this can be worked out. When Emma hasn't had enough exercise, and gets really excited, I see what could be called play aggression from her, too, but all you have to do is tell her to "settle" and she does right away. She is considered a doggy teenager now, too, I think. They really are so much like our children, aren't they?! Judie, sounds like you are making some real progress--about to toss the walker! Good for you! Shirley, my daughter's Basset, Samuel Adams, has a bark much like the Hound of the Baskervilles, and he's pretty big, so he would be good protection for anyone. They are large dogs, with very short legs. Love 'em!
Keeps getting late!!! Got a pot roast in oven vooking for tomorrow--couldn't find all the reg. veggies I wanted, so added a thawed bag of stirfry veggies, too! Take some comfort in this: My naturalist friend in NY had 8-inches of snow over the week-end, to add to the 12 feet of snow they have had this winter. And rain last week added a 2-inch crust topping to the snow!

GOOD NEWS, my Clothes Closet has been approved by the church council and we will give the announcement to the congregation Sunday and ask for donations! I'm so excited to get this project started. We have been asked if we have clothes to give away and some warm coats. Lynn donated our first jacket...I'm sure it will be swiped up next Soup Kitchen:)
