Cam is lighter still...Belle is facing 5ish with her head tucked back.
I appreciate all your thoughts about naming an eaglet Boo, but not sure that would really fit an eagle.
Perhaps something like "Joy" would be more appropriate...Today was a day from tears to Joy...Joy for the first egg and hopes for a better season.
And as someone mentioned on the other thread, we have plenty of time to name the eaglets.
And speaking of those snows from last winter....today I watched a lot of what I had taped from last year, but not shared...it was awful, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that we don't have any where near that amount of snow.

It looks like I missed all the excitement:( I was at home, but had visitors. Karla, Donny and Jayden came to help with putting in the new equipment on my 'puter. After many hours of plugging in and unplugging, they decided the new modem that comcast gave us is broken! Then, they had to hook me back up to Frontier so that I can use this thing until Monday, when Gene can speak with Comcast.
Then, we had supper and chatted til Jayden couldn't take it anymore. He wanted his bed and I don't have a crib anymore:(
Then I had my bath and watched Mama Mia (entertaining).
So here I am now, just learning of a precious egg!!

Just checked nest & it does seem a little brighter. Belle's head was pointing toward 1 or 2. Can see lot of white tail. She must be doing a little tenting. Got a pic to put in album.
Lolly, you're not the only one who didn't see what was going on! I checked nest around that time, but didn't really notice anything.

What a wonderful, comfortable old feeling to look at the feed and see Belle (Lib?) sitting on an egg. Just like your favorite blanket on a cold day.

Yep, that's an easy way to tell. She covers the whole opening of the egg cup, he kinda fits into it.

Belle has wiggled so much this morning that she has probably worn all the feathers off of her tummy:)
I got a good look at the Joy-Boo egg...got a photo. Will see if its the same as Lynn's.
I so loved the name Boo for our first chick (it will have such meaning for us, Like Palmer), but,
as Paula said, JOY would be sweet too. Maybe when Paula is not so heartbroken from her loss, she will re-think the name Boo. We, of course will follow her wishes!

Belle left after a bit of nestorating. Got apic of her doing them. And now Lib settles down with a wiggle.
Wow...I am lucky today. Had just gathered up trash and was getting ready to skate out to get papers and put trash out....secretly hoping that Bill would show up (he cut me a board for bottom of downstairs crate) a nd VOILA!! He here came. So I am safe for another day!! Can't tell you how much ice scares me!
