She got up when she called Liberty, but the way she's acting right now ... and the soft calls she is making ... seem to indicate that she might be laying, or getting ready to lay, the third one now.
She totally blocked sight of the eggs when she was up.
what time does the nightlight go on? every time I look at the nest at night it looks pitch dark! just see a bit of white where thwe head is an white at the branch
Geula, I don't think it's the best night light. It sort of sucks in all the light in can and uses infrared but when there's no moon light it just isn't strong enough to give up a decent picture.
The picture does get much better when the sun starts to come up, pulling in that light about an hour before actual sunrise time at the nest.
well, 2 is okay too, ya know! We've just been fortunate that every year there's been 3. Less fighting over being fed and less strain on us to see if the littlest one gets it's share!~ more room in the nest when they get bigger....less to worry about when they poop shoot!
Good morning everyone. I see there has been some intense Belle watch. Its been long enough between egg one and what would be egg 3 that I am perfectly happy with 2 eggs Enjoy your day everyone.
Good Sunday morning all. Only saw 2 eggs on last viewing. Think that may be the limit for this year. As you can probably tell, the wind is blowing again. I am so sick of wind.
Jim---hope you are back in bed! You sure were up late....or was it early?!?
wiggle wiggle after fluffing a bit of the edges of the cup. I think it's Belle that's on now, but I'm open to being totally wrong about that. She just seems bigger than the one that left.
Good morning! Every morning, I get up and turn on the cam, then I start reading the blog from where I left off last night. I want to go through the excitment and anticipation of the 3rd egg....and the disappointment. Two eggs it will be, maybe it just took it out of her last year to lay 4. If the 3rd was laid now it would hatch so much later and be so much smaller.
Two eggs we have, two eggs it will be....and that is just glorious! Two little Eggberts!!
I'd love a third egg just for insurance. I've only seen one in the nest the last two years and you get so darned attached to just that one. But, I guess you don't really split your affection between two, do you?
Good Good Morning! Just like Lolly did, I put up the cam and read like crazy to see what you all saw! I am ok with a 2 clutch! I ditto Geula's comment to the last sentence of Poop Shoot! lol It is so good to see the Full House of Eagle Watchers on here. All of you are so loyal and so loved!
Just finished the paper and now to get get ready for church. Will have to check on Caltrans when I get home. Yes, checkedon Vian yesterday and looking at the blog there decided it had been down for a couple of days. Crazy folks on there were bickering about what should be done. Not for me!
Okay, I am outta here. I'll be back in a few hours!

Thanks for all your comments and insight on the eagles yesterday. I learned some things.
a while back she got up and peeked into the egg cup but didn't move off...or turn the eggs (I think) but she's chirping
GET UP!

C(°ٿ°)D Jim
Can you hear her making the calls??
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
Glad we have someone who knows what to watch for - thank you Jim!
I can - she sounds kinda desperate, like help.
The "nightlight" should go off soon so we'll have better contrast.
Was that a yawn?

GOOD MORNING...
Belle is either chirping as she is laying egg #3 or want's to be relieved.
sorry for the typos!

The dogs aren't going to let me watch until they get their breakfast! Cute but demanding buggers.
BBS
Oh Good morning Wanda - hope you're right about laying another egg.
Watch for her tail to raise up and she will sort of strain. Or...egg #3 may already by there:)
And folks it's 2 eggs
Is that two or three?
Only 2 eggs!:(
the suspense is killing me! 2 eggs
light shifted looks like 2
Thought fo sho we'd have 3 in the cup this morning.
Guess we can all breathe a while since Lib is on the nest.
Good morning girls. That was sure suspenseful !
I've got to go take care of desserts at church...
Have a Blessed Sunday♥
Ooops. Morning Jim

All true Geula, all true.

Both adults in the nest
Switch... only two eggs
Switch and wiggle, wiggle.

Good morning Lynn -
And how are you and your prescious Mai?

Yes, Lynn, hear the wind. Know you are tired of it, but it is NOT snow!
Going to read the paper now. 42 and heading up close to 70. Wahooo!
Belle might have been calling out for relief this morning.
Morning, all.
Yup, probably 2 eggs. A third today would be a surprise, today is day 5 since the last one was laid.
Are you saying the second was laid on Tuesday? Paula?
Up for an egg roll.
NBG nest is really swaying!
That's a nice moderated chat they have there at NBG, lots of people putting lots of time into education people about the eagles.
It's probably the way I count.
Good morning Lolly, Paula & BEagle ...
Lolly you are so-so funny!
It's nice to see how it's evolved!
Tuesday evening, BEagle
I'd love a third egg just for insurance. I've only seen one in the nest the last two years and you get so darned attached to just that one. But, I guess you don't really split your affection between two, do you?
Hi Lori!
Did he just bring in more fluff?
So, we have 4 more weeks and counting until the first hatch....more likely 37-38 days from last Saturday!
Oh there's Lib, he brought some fluff, Belle wants it to spread around!
We have to love both equally.
Lib gone.
Oh no Lori, you love them all ♥
Okay. I didn't see anything till really early on the 9th.
♫♫ Happy Birthday, Mattie!! ♫♫
Yea, we couldn't see them until then, but the behaviour was there Tuesday night. Hancock forum saw it as well.
Well aren't the Jordan chicks adorable. Haven't seen them since last week. They are getting their pin feathers in.
They are both snugged up together ♥
Paula. When do they say #2 was laid?
I mean....what time?
Oregon nest has some snow, nest MT
Duke farms MT
CRC - incubating
Decorah - eagle in the nest
There is an eagle on the TH nest. They were a week behind Belle and Lib last year if I remember correctly.
There is a big feather on the Duke nest.
Think the Vian cam is down.
Icy at Sutton!
Caltrans has an eagle.
Sometimes it takes a while for the Vian to stream in.
Caltrans/Turtle bay first egg laid Feb 12...yay!
Comments below Vian say it's been down for 3 days?
Sutton is empty.
Big yellow feeties on the Jordan chicks ♥
Looks like Caltrans is laying one or getting ready to.
An eagle on Decorah.
Good Good Morning! Just like Lolly did, I put up the cam and read like crazy to see what you all saw! I am ok with a 2 clutch! I ditto Geula's comment to the last sentence of Poop Shoot! lol
It is so good to see the Full House of Eagle Watchers on here. All of you are so loyal and so loved!
Yeppers! First egg lay on Caltrans yesterday.
Oh! on vian
Can't get Elsie and Einstein this morning, either.
Like Margy said, some neat pictures at the BW eagle and osprey cam galleries.
We have 48 degrees right now. Why is there still snow out there? Be gone snow!
Just finished the paper and now to get get ready for church. Will have to check on Caltrans when I get home. Yes, checkedon Vian yesterday and looking at the blog there decided it had been down for a couple of days. Crazy folks on there were bickering about what should be done. Not for me!

Belle's feathers are getting fluffed with that wind.
She is calling out.
Have a great day!
And, a personal message for Mai.....Mai, be a good girl!!!!
Oh, and a happy birthay to Mattie!
The rock at the WE nest looks like a volcano erupting they way the sun shines on it.
BEagle, #2 was in the 6:30'ish PM time frame, I believe.
Belle tussling with a sticko.
Egg rolling.
Hey! I gotta question? What's with the pandas? Anybody watching anywhere? or is it just boids, boids, boids!
I love it when they sit in the nest and play "pick-up-sticks"! or when they fight over a stick....
Where are the Jordan eaglets?
Here Lori,
http://www.basic.ncsu.edu/eaglecam/
It uses quicktime
I see that Dana is over on FB - She is ok!
Here is an interesting article Mom sent me (snail mail, of course!):
MO/IL Eagles
Ah, she finally got that stick moved :)
I sure hope we don't get an egg stepped upon - Wiggle wiggle - all is well
Morning Jo and Lynn.
Paula, thanks for the Jordan Lake link. Sure is fun to see the babies! That's one up close view!
Lolly, the wind just takes what little breath I have and it's really a hardship when I have to go outside.
Lynn - Nice article from your Mom.
Wouldn't it be great to get a bus and take a field trip for something like that - okay maybe flying is beter.
Here's more:
