I've got a question......what causes the shade on the nest at this time of day?
Geula, I would imagine the shade comes from the very large brances in the host tree.

lots of trees along the horizon and surrounding the proprerty which is out in the country too so it takes awhile for the sun to get above all that -

I saw two eggs as well.
Lots going on here today. Rus and Rebecca are coming this afternoon. Rebecca wants to go over some grammar work for a class she is taking: infinitives, participles, active voice/passive voice, etc. Fun stuff.
I had thought maybe we would have a third egg this morning. Maybe today.
