Palmer is having some early evening squirrel.
Can you believe how big Palmer is getting? Unbelievable. Think he had a little squirrel fur stuck in his throat for a minute.

Have noticed something interesting. When I save a pic off the still cam, and then enlarge it when I view it, the colors are very noticeable! Cool.
It would have been a nice night to walk except for the wind!
Working ok here, still has some quirks. The wind is really gusting, around 15 to 24 mph.

That squirrel looks funny, belly up, and tail waving. Personally, I don't care for squirrel meat, but food is food.
The TH babies sure do peck each other......well I think the older one is getting more pecks in.

I don't feel we need the "Are you still watching" and then get cut off and have to start up again. I guess the last 2 weeks or so we have been spoiled - That was not nice of Outdoor

I am guessing that they have fixed the issues with the feed having problems.

Jo, I checked and 9am seems to still be the banding time at NBG. Last year was delayed a day or two because of rain, I think.

NBG rebels have been fed and BWO big babies were alone.
Didn't see Palmer after early this a.m.
Does anyone know why Lily and Hope's den appears to be empty? It was empty before we left for dinner and still empty about 40 min. ago.

had to really stretch to reach the fluff without moving off of Palmer!

What have I missed, concerning Chrissy? Haven't heard from her in a while and thought she may be ill.
Gene had sent her an email, thanking her for some information that she had sent him and also asked how she was. This is her reply (I know nothing of which she speaks?):

Judie - Lily and Hope leave the den and usually stay within the boundaries and come back in the evening.
There was an update yesterday under the live cam - It could be very soon that Lily and Hope will keep on walking upon leaving the den... It is about that time. They said that when Hope could climb trees it would be safe for Lily to journey off with her.
WOWSIE! Just looked out to the West and the sunset is Beautiful. Pink Pink Pink! Sunshine tomorrow I pray.

Wanda I see you ask about my eye. Using these new
"oil" drops in both eyes for a month. Then return
to doctor. I think they help...still wear my
"Hollywood glasses" when I go out. lol
Margy if you have empty boxes the Rescue Mission takes
them and it help them get monies.
The movie Hedgie-Lynn "The Push" it was very inspiring.
Although I not sure about the parent pushing the eaglet
out of the nest. We seem to have wittness the parents
holding food and flying around, in and out of the nest.
Trying to encourage the eaglet to make that flight out
of the nest to fledge.

Mema Jo see your comment where eaglets at NBG are going to be banded. Still don't understand (don't know if I'd want them to be) why are eaglets aren't banded.

The wind blew so hard that I just had electricity go off - only a few seconds but it sure is a sign of what it is like out there.

Banding was later last year, this year it is barely at 3 weeks. Last year was 5-6 weeks.

We so often join together in prayer and we know that the Lord hears us. Now I am asking for us to once again unite in fervent prayer for our own sweet Chrissy and her family across the pond. They are in a very dire predicament, and April 7th is more or less a judgement day for them. Pray for them whenever you can but could we all try to do so together at least once every day? Maybe a noon time prayer chain across the country and around the world will get special notice! Thank you and Amen.

Paula's right. Banding is several weeks earlier this year. Seems odd as the explanation given last year was to have the eaglets feet large enough that the bands wouldn't slip off. Well, what do I know about anything? Maybe these rebels have unusually large eaglet feets.
Will send a prayer for Chrissy that whatever is troubling her life will go away.
Need sleep so turning my light off but will leave the night light on for others -- especially Lily and Hope who are still out. Andy, please set our alarm when you come in.
