no mail, yet, guess I'm going to have to ride out and mail cards myself, after 9-11, they gradually took away all of our mail boxes, can't walk to one anymore
Shirley's school is in Culpeper, VA---don't remember what the county is, tho'. OF course, she lives in Fredericksburg, which I THINK is in a different county. I've been away from Virginia way too many years---I wanna go home!
Found a few Snow & Bird pics to put on Blog before the next weather event begins! Wish I could get to Chelsea office where it is scenic! Sun went away now, just dull white sky. I'm enjoying Judie's "Death of a Washer" saga!!! Might do more chores since we do have elec. I'll let you know if my washer works!
Just to set the record straight -- washer was UNBALANCED on the SPIN cycle. Darth is NOT happy. Been trying to repair because I became AGITATED knowing replacement will DRAIN our bank account. I believe the problem began when a shiny garland got tangled up. Washercide is not pretty.
I think Shirley left for the store. She teaches in Culpepper and lives in Fredericksburg. Spotsylvania County, I think.
It looks like the pair of eagles have given up on this egg thing for now.. I feel so badly for them because i saw how hard she tryed to protect the egg or eggs. Will they come back after the snow leaves the nest and try again. I hope so. I love this couple. They are so very dedicated..Stupid snow!!!
Eagle alert. Sure doesn't look very warm or inviting. I guess it is what it is. Which is really crummy. Yep same attitude as this morning I need to go back to bed and try tomorrow. Oh good eagle left. I am glad it did not settle into nest cup.
snowing big fat flakes in ernest now. Snowing here in randallstown, too.
Welcome Iwannafly! They have been bringing in new sticks and fussing over the egg cup. Belle may have another egg to lay, but we are hopeful that after this next round of snow. Still early enough in the season for a second clutch, too, if another egg doesn't come soon (next day or so) or if it does and is lost as the others were.
Judie, you summarized perfectly again, as always!!
So did Darth get the spinning back in motion? When mine did that, it was the switch that starts it when the lid is closed.....Bill overrode or bypassed it for me, so it has remained in action for about 2 yrs. s o far!
I am getting snowbound again but at least the mail did get delivered. Just loved all those flyers and freebee offers. My meds (blood glucose strips) did come but they short changed me a box.
Welcome blondiegirl and Iwannafly! Click on this blogs home page for the live feed down on the right side.
From all the entertainment concerning Judie and Darth's situation I would only suggest that
Rub-a-dub-dub Judie needs to get a tub!
Most all of you comments on the washercide cracked me up You hit it on the head when you mentioned Cabin Fever! As soon as the sun shines 2 days straight we need a get together!
You know Frederick county being off all week - they also have the 15th Monday as a holiday. Like my one gs said - this is the 2nd winter's break this year.
Uh oh! Just back for a sec & not happy w/nest view :>( I guess if there is a third egg in this clutch, it just might have to come. Wonder if it's like labor & they can't suppress it?!
Also, has anyone found what happens to old eggs??? They eventually get trampled?, thrown out, consumed? Last year the 2 that didn't hatch just kind of disappeared.I've checked a lot of info sites & haven't found out yet.
Lord Blackwater has brought in more pine sprigs and a corn husk. He sure loves his lady! But Lib loves his lady because of all the fish, squirrels, turtles and rabbits he bring to her.
I wonder what I'll get for valentines' day? New dishrags or something like that!
Oh dear, all of that snow in the nest and on Belle's back.
I live in Spotsylvania County, which is near Fredericksburg.
I teach in Culpeper County, within which is also located the town of Culpeper.
We do not have school tomorrow or Thursday, but they just decided that Monday, Presidents' Day, is a make-up day. Unfortunately, I have a doctor's appointment scheduled for Monday. Now I have to figure out what to do about that. I made the doctor's appointment a year ago, but would hate to miss work after so many days off--that is, if we go on Monday.
Maybe I can get an appointment tomorrow or Friday--that is, if I can get there.
Lynn - Click on Live feed or click on Most recent.... I really don't care for the new facebook layout. I am so glad you had help to close it down earlier. It was very late one evening when I could not find the logout!
Hi, Gang, Back to say hello before getting ready for school.
Shirley, a lawn is that green stuff that used to exist under the huge amount of snow in your yard! Surely by now its a figment of your imagination. However, since the gardeners will be unable to mow mine this week, mine may look like a field of alfalfa hay by next week. It's loving the heavy rain (complete with thunder & lightning), and was recently re-seeded and fertilized, so grows more like bamboo than grass!
Looks like Belle (?) is doing her best to protect the egg cup. Doggone that S___!
Well, gotta run to the bank, too, so better go for now. Will come back, barring an attack by the sandman, after school tonight. Take care, and try to stay as warm and dry as possible! :o]
Bless her heart. 3 eggs and all laid in snowstorms . Its not at all fair. But then I guess it isn't always fair anywhere. My heart is in a sycamore tree.
It's Becky from Houston, TX. I've been checking in periodically and I'm so excited to see an egg/eggs? in the nest! Hopefully they - and all of you - will survive the weather up there.
I say we have egg #3 but I want a better look but can't imagine when that would be. Belle you're breaking my heart! I'll stick with you Maybe we could have a miracle - like a dry egg well.
Hi Becky from Houston! We are not being so lucky this season so far..The snow storms have wiped out the first 2 eggs and now the third egg may have just been laid and we are to get snow that isn't stopping until tomorrow (Wed) evening,
Hi Becky! Missed your post. Another Texan here! Have been watching this nest for two years This is the 3rd season for me. Look like the 3rd egg arrived just a few minutes ago. Probably will not make it like the first two.
Oh no...not egg #3! BELLE we told you to wait! Lord have mercy...it is sleeting pretty hard here, right now. Did OUTDOOR people lighten the cam or is it better because the snow has melted some?
Shirley, where would I find a picture of a Griot? Storytellers fascinate me. I have 3 sweet little storytellers (Indian). If our house had to be evacuated, my storytellers would go with me. Capt. would probably take his Civil War books:)
Googled it, Shirley. Very interesting. Found this and I believe it is referring to US, don't you think?!!
Many of us, born in the 20s, 30s, and 40s, are accustomed to concealing major parts of ourselves to ensure our survival. Not comfortable with today’s openness, we find it difficult to explain our families, our friends, and our lifestyles to traditional senior organizations.
GRIOT Circle is a safe space where we can relax, hang out, and share our experiences in a warm and supportive environment. We can reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and affirm our lives and our community.
That would make us A CIRCLE OF GRIOT MOMSTERS:) I do acknowledge that some of you were born after the 40's and 50's but I think you feel comfortable speaking your mind in our little circle of friends.
I had never heard of a griot until I came across it on Hunter's study guide. I googled and saw there is plenty of info. I teach my students about scops, Anglo-Saxon storytellers. The Celts called them bards. Of course, it all goes back to the time when stories were told orally.
just came back after walking Daisy and first round of shoveling....I can't believe my eyes....I thought she was going to do it when I last looked and it seems she really did. UGH.
Jo, roof is still holding...and I'm holding my breath!
Poor Steve, he left word at 5, had a bad drive home in traffic and is now stopped about a mile and a half up our road. He can't tell what's going on but he see's yellow flashing lights.
Jo, thank goodness we have a good TV night to take our attention away from our sweetheart on the nest. For all of you who watch SURVIVOR, don't forget it starts this Thursday. It looks like it may be the best one yet:)
Just got off the phone with John. Over 2 hours after leaving work and not home yet...usually only 45 minutes...but he has 4 wheel drive... but car in front is only front wheel drive...25 mph...he just passed thru here, should be home in 30 minutes...
Everyone is snug as a bug in a rug here and GG. We wheeled in a bunch of firewood this afternoon, JUST IN CASE power goes out. Hope everyone is warm and has plenty blankets and candles or kero lamps...Megan has kero if you need some;) So glad you found some MEGAN!
Awww, poor babies. I guess that answers one of my previous questions-----that they can't suppress an egg that's on the way. She normally lays 3 in a clutch, so guess this was just a p-art of it. The well had been clean earlier, but looked like full again after the early snow~~~the happy face nest! I didn't see it before she came in for evening, but guess it was still snowy.Anyone see it then? Guess we can just pray that they lay another clutch like NBG did 2 yrs. ago.
Yes, Lynn, I love learning about new and interesting things like that, and first thing I thought after reading that was, THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT US!
Lynne, have you tried those Lidocaine patches on your shoulder? Just remember, if you have one on when you go to bed and it rolls off in the night...it may feel like a snake;) Oh, maybe you were't with us when I had that experience...
I don't believe that it is again snowing/sleeting in your area. You poor people. Enough is enough. I can't believe that Belle just had another egg in this mess. Didn't look much of the nest was uncovered when I looked in school this am. May God preform an miraccle for this wonderful caring pair of eagles.
JO I did see your post on facebook, only once. That place is a mess; never get the same thing twice. I have also found myself putting things out and it now showing. I don't know what they are doing, but people are getting sick of it.
I had to laugh out loud at you ladies exchange of quips about Judie's washer. She is so funny. She could probably do a class on THE DEATH OF A WASHER;)
Good Evening everyone, I can't believe there is an egg..I sure hope this one makes it. Costume Lady I am not sure if you saw my last responce, but I work in Morgantown
Yep, I'll keep dishes clean. But I am getting so frustrated with FB---Jo, Most Recent isn't even clickable on mine!!!! I can't get my Friends list to oepn.........I'm about ready to discontinue the whole stupid thing. I also can't get my email to open on AOL. Haven't tried Yahoo yet.
Yep, Paula, I think that definitely is an egg---good capture....bad news.
MARGY, must have had to stay over at work or is having difficulty getting home. Martinsburg streets are awful...I can't imagine how they will be after this storm passes. We have something like 6" icy ruts all over our roads which throws your car all over the place if you hit one.
Just talked to Steve, the cops are sending people away. They detoured him through a complicated neighborhood that we are not familiar with. I have a feeling that after being so close to home, he's going to end up having to get back on the beltway, to 70, and come in the back way. Bad situation.
Wanda, you stole my title!!!(3:36) But I'll let you! Tee Hee Yes, I also remember the "snake". Glad to learn all your family is settled and you've battened down the hatches.
Back to kitchen----love that corned beef, but itt won't last forever!
I can't even imagine what they were trying to accomplish on FB...and there is no one to contact, or even a FB status so we know if this is working as designed or what. It's disappointing really
I made a comment on FB (My page) and got notices of 2 remarks on it.. Went to the wall and it wasn't even there. Closed down and signed back in and it was there until I went to another page and came back...... Don't enjoy going over there much anymore
LARADA, my bad! Yes, I did steal it from you...thought it was a good title for the situation and Judie, being a crimnal, could do a class on that title;)
Jo, Facebook is not USER FRIENDLY...I couldn't make comments last evening on some of my daughters pictures. I thought they deleted me as their friends! I like facebook in order to keep up with my daughters and 3 grandchildren, but it hasn't been a pleasant experience lately...very frustrating.
LOL, Wanda! I'm a little worried that I haven't seen Shorty for 2 days.He/she usually comes running when anyone goes out the door. 2 other squirrels came today for sunflower seed. Maybe all the others are hunkered down in a cozy nest. What is disconcerting is that there is a bottle of windshield de-icer on deck & yes, Fubby said he poured some on steps & that "it only has alcohol--they wouldn't like it". What I read said poison! It is a small area.;<(
I know Loretta! But he said it was a watershed policeman...no idea why a water shed policeman is there unless they are supplying back up to the county. He just called back and said they got them back to right where they started. Some hot shot in a pickup just passed them all in the wrong lane, and is now trying to back up the hill.
Evening all Well this is the third egg of this clutch. Hope it does make it Mits dad would have been 98. He was 69 when he died We got our papers late tonight and got mail today. Neighbor got to dyalisis and Betty and I helped another neighbor get to the store. The store was a zoo. More fun at the zoo.
I am not going to try to mess with FB anymore tonight. Yahoo was fine!
Wanda, if I read it right, you have GG with you....right?? I am so relieved.
Mits, my thoughts are with you and Ceil and MM today....I know the sadness and memories it invokes. Mine is coming up 3/12 (91st)....and it was 40 yrs. ago Jan. 31 that we lost him.
Hope Margy gets home. Haven't heard her voice since 6...
So, sometime tomorrow I will be attempting to head to Bluefield. The wake is Thursday night and the funeral is Friday. I am going to try to spend a couple of hours with my brother and sister-in-law.

I see the smiley face, Sharon.
Looks like it's snowing on the smiley face, though.
Sharon - I see the smiley face!
Helen, that refresh worked! Thanks! Sometimes the back arrow doesn't work on IE and FF
Oh my gosh, the washer jokes have me in tears.
Good one, Mits.
its the sleet and freezing rain that will keep the snow accumulations down and that is not a good thing....
We split.
I think we are have a bad case of cabin fever...
Ah HA! Totals coming down....interesting. They aren't saying 20" here anymore either....18 instead. I think it may come down further.
even the nest is laughing!
Must get Hunter and go to the store. BBL. Would like to invite Belle and Lib to come dine on some rude starlings in my back yard.
Snowing again at the nest
that is too funny the smiley face nest, like it looked like a heart after Deb, passed away.
Hey--Lib and Belle . . .
"Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie," etc, etc.
Come and get it!
Off to the store!
Done.
It's s---ing again. Put in whatever letters you want. You know what I think!!!
yes indeed, Lynn, we know:)
Frederick County Schools (MD) . Closed All Week
Washington County Schools Closed Wednesday
What county is Shirley in? Is she closed all week?
Judie is going to wish she had never mentioned the machine!!! We all are in rare form today!! LMBO!!!
Paula......not nice words!! Hush yo' mouf!
can't remember, thinks she works in Culpepper
and I have not even started the mojitos
no mail, yet, guess I'm going to have to ride out and mail cards myself, after 9-11, they gradually took away all of our mail boxes, can't walk to one anymore

I'm enjoying Judie's "Death of a Washer" saga!!!
Might do more chores since we do have elec. I'll let you know if my washer works!
yes another edition of As the Washer Turns....stay turned for the sudsy update.
at least it it Tuesday, Ladies and Gents....good TV night:)
ROFLMAO. Truly needed to laugh today.
BBL
Think Shirley is Culpeper county...no announcement yet from there
Forgot my manners -- welcome Blondiegirrl. Must have been stuck in the soak cycle.
May have missed it but anyone hear from Wanda today? How's GG?
Really, BBL
It looks like the pair of eagles have given up on this egg thing for now.. I feel so badly for them because i saw how hard she tryed to protect the egg or eggs. Will they come back after the snow leaves the nest and try again. I hope so. I love this couple. They are so very dedicated..Stupid snow!!!
Did somebody say Train? No, shoot, it was drain! =(
Eagle alert. Sure doesn't look very warm or inviting. I guess it is what it is. Which is really crummy. Yep same attitude as this morning I need to go back to bed and try tomorrow. Oh good eagle left. I am glad it did not settle into nest cup.
Eagle alert
Has fluff
eagle is back
Tenting over the egg cup....must be Belle
argh on nest cup and tenting. Poor thing she is trying to keep it as dry as she can well.....time for me to turn off the cam
Okay, I haven't read all the comments, did you see her lay an egg or is she just tenting the egg cup right now?
Snowing hard here now.
snowing big fat flakes in ernest now. Snowing here in randallstown, too.
Welcome Iwannafly! They have been bringing in new sticks and fussing over the egg cup. Belle may have another egg to lay, but we are hopeful that after this next round of snow. Still early enough in the season for a second clutch, too, if another egg doesn't come soon (next day or so) or if it does and is lost as the others were.
i don't think anyone saw if she did Megan, but it sure looks like she might be now. UGH
Heading home, heard the roads are getting bad
Lovely, nest once again lots of snow and Belle is tenting. You are a bit late, Belle!!
Sounds like sleet.
She flew back in with fluff, and then started tenting. No egg.
Judie, you summarized perfectly again, as always!!
So did Darth get the spinning back in motion? When mine did that, it was the switch that starts it when the lid is closed.....Bill overrode or bypassed it for me, so it has remained in action for about 2 yrs. s o far!
OK, something is making the top of my right shoulder feel like it's being ripped out of it's socket. I am NOT pleased.
I am getting snowbound again but at least the mail did get delivered. Just loved all those flyers and freebee offers. My meds
(blood glucose strips) did come but they short changed me a box.
Welcome blondiegirl and Iwannafly!

From all the entertainment concerning Judie and Darth's situation I would only suggest that
Rub-a-dub-dub
Judie needs to get a tub!
Most all of you comments on the washercide cracked me up You hit it on the head when you mentioned
Cabin Fever! As soon as the sun shines 2 days straight we need a get together!
You know Frederick county being off all week - they also have the 15th Monday as a holiday.
Like my one gs said - this is the
2nd winter's break this year.
Well, I think this just bites a big one. I hate to see her on that egg cup again!
I wish I knew WHY Belle chose to sit on that egg cup now....
She may know something we aren't even aware of.........
Jo, glad you got the strips and med.
Lynne, probably from laughing too hard -- always makes my right shoulder hurt.
Lynn, I'm afraid the washer has met Old Sparky. Remember, been used for 40+ years.
Snowing here. Will be headed to the kitchen.
Paula, maybe it is Culpepper County. Just thought Shirley was further south.
Shirley, what county do you live in?
BBL
Well Lynne2 Did you stretch too far out of the bathroom window...
I'm serious and not being funny
Uh oh! Just back for a sec & not happy w/nest view :>(
I guess if there is a third egg in this clutch, it just might have to come.

Going to mix up some cornbread to go with my ribs. Getting very hungry smelling the good stuff.
Sure wish Belle would get out of that nest. :(
Well no wonder my shoulder hurts with all the laughing today!
Jo, I think I have "Shovelitis" after all the shoveling, even today, of more ice off of the patio. It hurts pretty badly I want to cry.
Hope they let Margy come home.
NBG eagle incubating eggs looks like some sleet pellets on it.
Lynne2 I think my hubby has it also but his is mainly in the knees.
Help---how do I get my Live Feed back on FB now instead of News Feed??
Oh dear, all of that snow in the nest and on Belle's back.
I live in Spotsylvania County, which is near Fredericksburg.

Very interesting actions going on by Belle in the egg cup.
Like digging it out - at first I thought it was an egg roll. Don't see any sign of an egg.
Night light is on
Sounded like they were parking the plows for now
Home safe and sound...slow trip, roads are snow covered from Frederick north...
Lynn - Click on Live feed or
click on Most recent....
I really don't care for the new facebook layout.

Glad you checked in Paula.
Belle did a shake off and had her head down in the egg well but didn't roll an egg - just made it deeper
BBL
I was wondering if there was going to be an egg roll, too, Jo, but I did not see any sign of an egg either.
Must feed George. He is reminding me that I am 30 minutes late. The meal schedule is very important to him.
Helped Hunter with some homework today. Learned that a griot was a storyteller in ancient Mali. How about that?
Ooooh--I heard that sneeze! God bless you, Belle!
AWWWWW, she sneezed. I don't blame her.
Did you hear those sneezes?
First trip out to cleean off dishes. 4" already. Grrrr.......
Uh oh, think she's laying an egg
Belle is chirping....an egg coming?
that's what happened the other two times
That's what I thought! Bet there is an egg!
Didn't hear the chirps and just realized that I needed to restart the cam. Now I see how hard it is snowing there.
Just a few flakes here.
36 degrees here
How far apart were the different clutches at NBG two years ago? Do not remember. Think it is another loss if there is an egg.
I have 3 inches already
Yeah, I heard that too, sure seemed like she might be laying an egg.
Bless her heart. 3 eggs and all laid in snowstorms . Its not at all fair. But then I guess it isn't always fair anywhere. My heart is in a sycamore tree.
Eerily quiet, except for the snow.
I think they were a couple of weeks, perhaps 3-4.
Did ya'll see anything? I couldn't quite tell
Did you see an egg?
I enlarge to full screen when she got up and I really think you all are right about an egg
Why else would she be on that egg cup
Hi everyone,
It's Becky from Houston, TX. I've been checking in periodically and I'm so excited to see an egg/eggs? in the nest!
Hopefully they - and all of you - will survive the weather up there.
Be careful and stay warm!
I don't think this egg would make it either. Such a shame.
There it is!
Bless her heart ♥
What a postition! I think I saw an egg.
UnF****** believeable.
such bad luck
She will be there all night, most likely.
Such a strong maternal instinct.
Just a moment, I'm loading a pic
Bless her heart...I think she has just wrapped her body around that egg.
Hi Becky,
It has been a tough time here. We have lost two eggs to the snow. Now it looks like we could lose another one.
Good to have you here with us.
I say we have egg #3 but I want a better look but can't imagine when that would be. Belle you're breaking my heart! I'll stick with you Maybe we could have a
miracle - like a dry egg well.
Hi Becky from Houston! We are not being so lucky this season so far..The snow storms have wiped out the first 2 eggs and now the third egg may have just been laid and we are to get snow that isn't stopping until tomorrow (Wed) evening,
Well. we will not be able to see before long. That is probably best.
Ok, pic is up, will work on video after I feed pesty whining dog
http://eagletmomsters.blogspot.com/
Anxious to see what Paula captured
Yes, I see it, Paula.
Hi Becky, glad you could join us. It's been a tough week here. Pray for egg #3.
And Belle did wiggle down on the egg.
Hi Becky! Missed your post. Another Texan here! Have been watching this nest for two years This is the 3rd season for me. Look like the 3rd egg arrived just a few minutes ago. Probably will not make it like the first two.
You could definitely see her roll it
big shake off
gotta feed the dog, back in a few
Major shake-off.
Snow for 24 - 25 more hours.
Please give us a small miracle.
Amen
Belle's head towards 2:00 position
This live feed needs to give us more then 10 minutes....... I get very tired of refreshing....
Oh no...not egg #3! BELLE we told you to wait! Lord have mercy...it is sleeting pretty hard here, right now.
Did OUTDOOR people lighten the cam or is it better because the snow has melted some?
Just getting started here. Kathryn's picked up Hunter and headed home.
Damn... what a shame.
AMEN!
You said it, Megan.
Shirley, where would I find a picture of a Griot? Storytellers fascinate me. I have 3 sweet little storytellers (Indian). If our house had to be evacuated, my storytellers would go with me. Capt. would probably take his Civil War books:)

Sent you my pic Paula....
How is your porch roof Lynn2
Still there?
Wanda don't forget 3 shows in a row this evening on TV.
Lynn keep your dish cleaned off
Praying that my electricity doesn't flicker...........
Welcome Becky!
Wow Wanda/Shirley, interesting story!
MY SHOULDER IS REALLY HURTING....UGH.
Jo, roof is still holding...and I'm holding my breath!
Poor Steve, he left word at 5, had a bad drive home in traffic and is now stopped about a mile and a half up our road. He can't tell what's going on but he see's yellow flashing lights.
well that is too bad:(
This egg could really make it you know!
Let's all think positive!
You are right Jo, we shouldn't write this little egg off so quick...
Jo, thank goodness we have a good TV night to take our attention away from our sweetheart on the nest.
For all of you who watch SURVIVOR, don't forget it starts this Thursday. It looks like it may be the best one yet:)
Not again......poor Belle and Lib....damn for sure....so disheartening.....
Wanda, think we fit that description beautifully.
Hope everyone is warm and has plenty blankets and candles or kero lamps...Megan has kero if you need some;) So glad you found some MEGAN!
well today would have been our Dad's BD, 90+ yrs old, Ceil or MM would remember the exact age.

Just remember, if you have one on when you go to bed and it rolls off in the night...it may feel like a snake;)
Oh, maybe you were't with us when I had that experience...
Kathryn just called to report that her dogs are afraid of large snowflakes.
Federal agencies will be closed on Wednesday in Washington as the region continues to see snow.
I remember the lidocaine snake.:)
KATHRYN...lmbo!
Very brave dogs she has there.
Actually, I am becoming afraid of large snowflakes myself.
Going to take a break. BBL.
I've used lidocaine patches on my back before....SNAKES!!! yuk! I just don't have any. I'm going to fill a bag with snow and apply it my shoulder.
I just saw 3 cars come down our road in this direction...hipefully whatever is wrong is fixed now.
Mits, birthday prayer for your late father!
or Gone With The Washer...
Finally got a good video of her laying an egg! I am saving it now, then have to load to youtube. Shouldn't be long
Belle laying another egg, when we wish she wouldn't, reminds me of GG when I announced my 5th pregnancy...OH NO, NOT AGAIN! LOL
thanks, Lynne:)
I too am afraid of large snowflakes. Small ones. Medium ones.
Candy, your aren't kidding about facebook....what a mess!!
PHYRFLY...yes I did see your comment. I thought I remembered you from last year. Good to have you back:)
MARGY, must have had to stay over at work or is having difficulty getting home. Martinsburg streets are awful...I can't imagine how they will be after this storm passes. We have something like 6" icy ruts all over our roads which throws your car all over the place if you hit one.
Oh I agree, the news feed on FB is all messed up!
Tee Hee
Yes, I also remember the "snake".
Glad to learn all your family is settled and you've battened down the hatches.
Back to kitchen----love that corned beef, but itt won't last forever!
New windows movie maker doesn't have as many options as the old one, rather disappointing!
Wanda is GG with you or her house?
I can't even imagine what they were trying to accomplish on FB...and there is no one to contact, or even a FB status so we know if this is working as designed or what. It's disappointing really
Snow is much finer and lighter now...,.maybe they made a forecasting mistake....wish, wish. Almost time for Jeopardy. BBL.
Paula I put your single pic over on E_M .
I made a comment on FB (My page) and got notices of 2 remarks on it.. Went to the wall and it wasn't even there.
Closed down and signed back in and it was there until I went to another page and came back...... Don't enjoy going over there much anymore
Fab a mundo....they diverted them to a DEAD END. Cars are stuck everywhere and there is now a backhoe involved somehow. Poor Steve.
I sure hope Margy is OK, and John (I don't remember who John is Paula, sorry).
Hedgie - at 8:00 is NCIS right after Jeopardy. You may as well get comfy
Lot of sleet now, definitely mixed precip..it's heavy and wet.
Almost time for another shake off I hope.
I agree Megan - Heavy and Wet! Not the snow blower kind.
Lynne Sure hope Steve gets there soon.
Detours just don't work for where everyone wants to go!
Hope John and Steve make it home soon!
Outdoor channel now has the eagles dream video listed on the cam page.
going to send them an email about the 3rd egg
Who is John and how far from home is he
Paula - include Lisa and Steve if you haven't already sent it. Thanks.
Paula's son, John. scroll up to 6:54
LARADA, my bad! Yes, I did steal it from you...thought it was a good title for the situation and Judie, being a crimnal, could do a class on that title;)
TRAIN coming down the tracks
Hope John (Paula's oldest) gets home soon and Lynne, how stupid sending everyone to Dead End!!! Hope you see Steve soon!
thanks Megan
Belle's head was raised.
It is a small area.;<(
Thank you Megan - I just couldn't connect for a moment about John.
Michael and John! Gotcha
When Belle raised her head she looked around but tucked it right back under
her wing.
I know Loretta! But he said it was a watershed policeman...no idea why a water shed policeman is there unless they are supplying back up to the county. He just called back and said they got them back to right where they started. Some hot shot in a pickup just passed them all in the wrong lane, and is now trying to back up the hill.
oh Loretta, I hope Shorty comes back soon!
Well i had to reload the video, the dogs are barking at the snow plow, phone has been ringing...think I need a drink!
Thanks Jo for putting the pic in the album.
Still have to go do email to outdoor channel
6 mins and I am in front of the TV for 3 hrs.
I will come in at commercials to check on Belle and your comments.......
BBL
Lynne, sounds like Steve is in a mess!
Evening all Well this is the third egg of this clutch. Hope it does make it
Mits dad would have been 98. He was 69 when he died
We got our papers late tonight and got mail today. Neighbor got to dyalisis and Betty and I helped another neighbor get to the store. The store was a zoo. More fun at the zoo.
Good to hear from you Ceil.
Youtube is going very sloooow.
Neighbor is already snowblowing :)
My driveway :)
Will send to Lisa and Steve, Jo.
YAY, we are closed tomorrow!
I don't have the nest on live while I'm uploading.
Ceil, was wondering where you were....out being an Angel!!!
I hear a Train going by the nest!
STEVE IS HOME!!!
Did John get home and anyone heard from Margy??
going to fix dinner, BBL
So, sometime tomorrow I will be attempting to head to Bluefield. The wake is Thursday night and the funeral is Friday. I am going to try to spend a couple of hours with my brother and sister-in-law.
John is home
