WOW...Chinese seems to be popular tonight. I was really hungry for fried liver and onions, so I put liver out to thaw. It didn't look quite right and I thought it might be freezer burned. I fried it anyway and tasted it...it was venison! Not hungry for venison, so I got a Stouffers Sweet and Sour Chicken and Rice dinner out...in the microwave right now. LOL
Lynne - looked at all your photos. The camping sites look great. Shirley - the squirrel video was really enjoyable to watch. I'd say it was a Smart Squirrel.
Moon was crisp and clear coming home. Temps have dropped a few.
An Eggo shortage oh no that is why my Eggo Swirls cinnamon was not on the shelf. This could be a catastrophe event.....call out the National Guard please
I think you are right about the raccoons, Jo. I saw two walk away amd they did look like raccoons.
I had a deer adventure the other day. I was talking with Kathryn on my cell phone and turned down the road that goes into the forest.
There was a deer standing in the road. In my lane. Large deer. I had to stop and wait for it to move. I am a very conservative driver, especially on that road. I've seen many deer in that area. There is often a herd in the open area near there.
My daughter Jenny had an experience last night driving home in the dark A DEER HIT HER CAR She is ok, thankful for that. Sometimes no matter how alert you are when a deer bolts out of nowhere you don't have a chance!
1999 performance of Trans-Siberian Orchestra coming on PBS in a few minutes....not as good as Mannheim Steamroller but still good---and Michael Crawford (The Phantom) appearing with them!
Does anyone get the NWS magazine? There is a beautiful photo of an eagle chasing a starling taken by Robert Palmer----I THINK he's the guy who did the fantastic sequence we saw earlier this year of the eagle fight over/in a lake, remember?
Didn't want to go out, Jo, or I might have had a milkshake. It is on the approved list. I had a nice warm bowl of cream of wheat. Tomorrow is clear liquid day. That will be harder. I have been trying to drink a Sprite, but don't really want much.
Raccoons back at ESPN.
Kathryn's husband Tom had a deer jump over his car once. Glad your daughter is okay.
Too bad, I did not get a picture, Lynn. I was busy talking with Kathryn. I did tell her about the deer. It was really large, but I did not see any antlers. Flashed my lights at oncoming traffic to warn them.
Good so far, Jo. Went out for Italian last night, had the leftovers tonight.
Worked at Mom's all day, finishing up a bunch of little things. Forgot the smoke detectors...will go down in 2 weeks to do those, but everything is pretty much done...still have some tools and stuff down there to do something with, but they can stay for now.
Haven't even turned on the tv this evening. Very quiet here. Will, Tom, Kathryn, and Hunter are camping tonight qlong with some neighbors of Tom and Kathryn.

2 little hummers growing fast...peaking out of the nest.
If it is only Thursday, I skipped out on work today. I think I would have heard from someone.
