think I will try the trial...and if I like it spend the $20.00 dollars...why watch still cam when I can see the real thing..plus so much other things to watch
the cams are not always manned..I have no idea how that works...but this a.m. show was awesome, best I have ever seen since I have been watching eagles
Nice adult at USee, but only showing us his back!!! Sure wish I could keep a live cam open....boo! Can't do a capture....need to find my instructions for other way to save a live shot.
Plop right into the water a poop shoot. Glad it didn't hit us.. eagle flys off now...tee hee lighten load and their it flys on other side of pond, lake whatever this is.
Good Morning! I'm here, nursing my cup of coffee and trying to wake up a bit. Have been up since about 5:30 am. Hubby's busy as can be--has taken one car for oil change, and gone shopping to 2 different stores. I think I may need a new battery to keep up with him! Good to see him so full of beans, though. He goes in to the Cardiology Center at Kaiser Permanente on Monday to get his stitches out (Surgeon said the R.N. who's going to monitor his pacemaker can do the job.) and get set up for pacemaker checks over the phone. Mighty glad they're going to watch what's up MUCH better than the Dr. with the other insurance did! He'll get checked every 6 months! YAY!!!
Mits - If you sign up for 3 free days trial - keep us updated how you like it and what all you can view. I really love the cam. I wish all of you could have been here longer because there was such good viewing of 2 adults eagles and 1 juvie eagle! Really was fantastic.
Mits, Thanks for the link to USeeWildlife--I really love it! It's great to be able to hear all the birds, too. Like that someone moves the cam around--they get some great shots! Does anyone know if we can capture pictures from that site?
Andrea my neighbor next door has a pacemaker in. That is what they do they call her and somehow over the phone do the check on the pacemaker. Technology really up-to-date on somethings.

Hi, Dana, Yeah, Hubby's first pacemaker in 1987 was checked over the phone. We had a unit the size of a small briefcase, and while on the phone, could put the pacer through it's various speeds and see how it was working. The last two pacers, we couldn't do that. Glad this newest one has that capability! Good thing we still have a landline phone with a cord on one of our extensions, though. I don't think the system works with cells or cordless phones.
Lynn, Thanks for the USee pic instructions! I've saved them, just in case I forget how to do it. (I do have an occasional case of CRS! LOL :oD) Going to read the Mason update--back in a bit!
Lynn, Yes, we were totally blown away that that capability had been around for a while when Hubby got his first pacemaker in 1987. Truly amazing what doctors are able to do. Medicine sure has come a long way in the last 100 years, hasn't it? Thank God He's let us get this far!
Dana, My laptop is doing that lately, too. Most of the memory on it is filled with programs and updates to programs, so I changed the settings so it couldn't add any updates without my permission. Yes. I did not hear them for a long time--at least not the adults. Just Hidey. They produced one vocal offspring. But one day, I was watching the live cam and heard a commotion of calls I did not recognize, but it was either Bell or Lib with Hidey. They both suddenly landed in the nest, very vocal that time. It was one of the last times we saw Hidey.
Thanks Helen....♥☺ I think I will, coming back here for a sleepover...that's the most fun. okay really, not pulling any more Ceils or Margys xoxox B Y E ...
George just came back to join me on the recliner. Poor guy, he has a time whenever I get up. Keeps lying on the footrest and gets dumped. I think he is mostly on the seat now. This huge recliner has plenty of room for both of us. Perfect. He has not always been coming up to my bedroom at night, and if I come downstairs, he's sleeping on the recliner.
Shirley - George knows where the comfort is! But I bet you miss him at night not being on the bed. If mine are not on the bed - one is in Hubby's chair and one is in mine!
Shirley, Tell George I said "hello", OK? Glad your big recliner has room for the both of you. Since you're working on your homework, guess I'd better get busy on mine, too. This book for the new class has fewer, smaller pictures, and LOTS of fine print! Takes a LONG time to read a chapter. Will be back later, though. Take care, everyone! (Shirley, hope the prep for the colonoscopy isn't too intense! :o[) Back later.... :o]
Hi, Jo, No rain here. Kinda overcast this morning, and it was pretty darn cold last night (flannel sheet alert!). There's supposed to be a weather front moving in north of L.A., but we should only get the lower edge of it, with just clouds and no rain. Expected high in my neck of the woods is 68 today. Hope to get some housecleaning done, and maybe go to a movie later. Guess that new vampire movie is a good one. Really liked the first one, so may go to that.
The colonscopy prep has changed a bit since the last time I did it. I am already in the liquid diet time frame--as of noon today.
Today is liquids, tomorrow is clear liquids. The last part starts tomorrow sometime and finishes on Monday morning. I have bought the kit, but not all the liquid foods I'll need.
Will go shopping eventually. I think I can have ice cream today. Might go get a milkshake--after double checking the directions. Tomorrow will be the hard part. I will be glad when it is over.
Haven't been very hungry recently, anyway. Right now, that is a good thing!
Gosh, I miss having a cat or dog around. Wouldn't be fair to have one right now, though. Either not home enough, or not able to spend enough quality time with them. Plus, our son-in-law is drastically allergic to cats. If they came to visit, he'd be having bad asthma attacks. Not good! Well, better go check the washer & dryer, and read more of my assignment. Back later! Take care, and have a great afternoon! :o]
I'm going to put some pics in the album Really no movement between them at all Maybe I'll just put the 1st one in and wait until there is an MT nest to show how long Lib lingered.
TCU is ahead. Half time and the announcers were speculating about bowl games. One speculation was TCU vs Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl. That would be so fantastic,(A house devided!! Wahoo!) though possibly they will be in the championship game. GO FROGS!
not sure I have ever seen them just sit there and do nothing, shooting the deer does not start until next week, so they were not sitting there for safety..????
Did You Know.....if you or your kids or grands like Eggo waffles---shortage alert!!! Kelloggs' main Eggo plant in Atlanta heavily damaged by flooding. They are trying to get an old plant up and running, but expect big delays in production til next summer!
Wanda, you must be lonely without the Captain! Shopping MIGHT help!
Christie got her free turkey at the grocery store today----for my Christmas dinner. We assumed that the free ones would be a limited weight---maybe 12 lbs. Nope....ANY size! So she got a 22pounder! Now I won't have to cook an extra breast! $26 value...good deal!
Didn't know that, Mits!! Wow....some powerful storm to have held out all the way across the Atlantic! I'm guessing that Ida also caused the problem at the Kellogg plant.
Did a little love story about Belle and Lib for my Photostory assignment. Tried to post it on here, but so far no luck. I am also having trouble sending it to the blog for my class.
I think the problem is that the default e-mail for this computer is my work e-mail, which I can only access at work, and I am not planning to be there until Tuesday, so I will try again later.

USW is Awesome! Thanks Mits for the heads up.
LOL....The Lockhorns comic for the day has the husband saying to the wife: Don't you do any other bird imitations besides watching me like a hawk?
for about the last hour...they have panned all over the area...1 adult and 2 juvies have been eating , and crows have been standing nearby waiting for them to finish
I think the adult dragged his food down to the river
nope he did not that is just a second adult, the other is still eating
We have never seen coverage like this!
Mits had this on older thread

sure are not as graceful when they are walking on the ground, as they are when they are flying
They run with a waddle - don't they.
both adults by the river...nice thing about this site it automatically refreshes on its own
WOW! Camera person is on the ball.
yeah they walk like ducks....I have never seen an eagle walk
:) I think it just sneezed.
omg....this is just amazing
I can't do the 'side step' as well as the eagle.........

Jo just posted it , Jim...look up
Hi all! All I see on the USee link is a big eagle on a tree!
I hear a crow and a piliated woodpecker
Mits I have USeeWildlife.com on and the eagle is sitting on a limb of a dead tree. Are we watching the same cam?
space walk going on now...NASATV
I just enlarged it to full screen
Don't see anywhere to take a pic..
lol Lynne A big eagle in a dead tree is better than no eagle in a well built nest!
yeah Jo, I think if you are a member maybe then
So I turn on the space walk which is
exciting to watch hoping I haven't missed it AND jump out of my chair
when the Crow calls from USW. lol
the cams are not always manned..I have no idea how that works...but this a.m. show was awesome, best I have ever seen since I have been watching eagles
Just panning around nice area.
Our eagles are playing "hookie"
:)..yes Jo, me too..had to turn volume down
JIM you would really like this cam...neat like Pete's Pond but different birds and animals.
Nice adult at USee, but only showing us his back!!!
Sure wish I could keep a live cam open....boo!
Can't do a capture....need to find my instructions for other way to save a live shot.
By the way thanks Mits for bringing me to this cam ( :
Plop right into the water a poop shoot. Glad it didn't hit us.. eagle flys off now...tee hee lighten load and their it flys on other side of pond, lake whatever this is.
Poop shoot! Oh, Good morning! lol Went to USW just im time for the poop shoot right at the cam. Way to go Eagle!!!
Lynne I don't know bird calls - wish I
did and could ID them as you do.
Thinking of Delphia ((((((hugs and prayers))))))
Looks like the mallard ducks are going by.. Maybe their quacking was what made the eagle fly........
I think I just heard a gunshot!
????????
Me too, Lolly.
ANOTHER ONE
Good Morning!

Oh, definitely....a gunshot!
just heard a gunshot too!
Jo, don't know many...but the Big W'peckers live around us and I see them sometimes...they sound like a jungle noise!
You would think that if they respect wildlife enough to have cams, that they would not allow any hunting anywhere near there.
Or, is this a hunters web site. Can not remember?
i believe it's a red shoulder hawk on there making all that noise now
Sure is noisy! Listen to all those birds!
Mits - If you sign up for 3 free days trial - keep us updated how you like it and what all you can view.
I really love the cam. I wish all of you could have been here longer because there was such good viewing of 2 adults eagles and 1 juvie eagle! Really was fantastic.
Yes, that does sound like a red shoulder hawk. Our favorite!
Got a chuckle from a comment on the PIC PA woods chat:
i know it's hard to believe but I am not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree lol
go above and read the story about this site
Good morning! I scanned the blog enough to learn about Paula's expected granddaughter. Congratulations!
Also found the website you are watching. Thanks for the link! think it was Mits.
Was watching the eagle and saw the poop shoot and heard the gunshots. Lots of birds there. You can hear all kinds of calls.
i think I heard 2 hawks. The crows are probably tormenting them....they do like to torment the hawks for some reason.
Mits,
Thanks for the link to USeeWildlife--I really love it! It's great to be able to hear all the birds, too.
Like that someone moves the cam around--they get some great shots!
Does anyone know if we can capture pictures from that site?
Probably not since it is live.
Andrea my neighbor next door has a pacemaker in. That is what they do they call her and somehow over the phone do the check on the pacemaker. Technology really up-to-date on somethings.
Oh, I hate to leave such fine company, but time to eat a bite and get busy.
Have a great day! (((hugs)))

Jo ESPN are you watching on here?
Well is was not a squirrel it was that crow flying low. Just flew back in.
Interesting update on Mason-----hope he'll do well in Morgantown.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! All photos that I have are now posted on the Momsters Album. THANKS TO REBOOTING!
Lynn, wherever you are...I too had trouble with the lighting. With a little help from Picasa, they are better now. The photos, that is:)
Thanks for the hard work Wanda. I'll check the album out lady. ty

It takes a few tries to get it down----don't think I'll ever be able to do it w/o the instructions in front of me, LOL!
Sure wish we would get some sun here before I go out to....what else? Blow leaves!
Lynn,
Thanks for the USee pic instructions! I've saved them, just in case I forget how to do it.
(I do have an occasional case of CRS! LOL :oD) Going to read the Mason update--back in a bit!
Andy and Dana---p-pacemaker phone reading are not new-----had a gal at work who came into clinic to do it monthly since 1980!
Wanda, I will throw pics on puter this evening and see what I can do w/ Picasa---have never tried that stuff!!! May holler for help!
Very nice, Wanda gal!!
Fuel time!!! Quick and easy PB&J, and then out I go. BBL!
I think my Internet Explorer is freezing up because it wants me to add more "add ons"....oh just jolly ho
I'm back!
Dana - the ESPN usually has lots of deer in the evening and occasionally a black bear.

Wanda - you got them all! Great job

I'm dressed and now I am going to eat!
I need food - like Norma says or
Fuel time - like Lynn just said. lol
that swan can sure move fast..
A swan glides through the water just as smoothly as an eagle flys through the air
Hi, was working on my photography assignments when I thought I heard an eagle call.
That swan is really beautiful.
You think that we are watching the real Swan Lake???
I'm eating..........
Thanks Jo got in favorites both cam 1 and cam 2 ty hugs
Dana,
My laptop is doing that lately, too. Most of the memory on it is filled with programs and updates to programs, so I changed the settings so it couldn't add any updates without my permission. BBL. Trying to finish up the photo class.
Andra I added some "add ons" to Internet Explorer and it is loading faster than ever ...these computers.....never happy lol
I am putting out a "missing eagle alert" !!!
sure can hear the eagles at USW
The eagles keep calling me back from my homework. I am trying to learn about Photostory.
Just went over the 700 mark.
Eagle our nest!
Both now.
Hearing eagle calls on other site!
Anybody else out there?
Have been in the kitchen working. Laurel hinted that she was out of hot chocolate mix. Actually she did more than hint. She told me....so I have been out mixing it up. She drinks way more of it than me, but I make it.
Anyway. I am listening to USW as I work. Wish I could listen to you blog. lol
Back to work!
yes, I see them
Both of our eagles still in nest.
Looks like they are posing for us.
Good morning, Mits.
I see feathers blowing.
hello, Shirley

bee buzzing around USW cam...
tails up on the swan
she must be eating lunch
Bit of wind at the nest now--just enough to ruffle the feathers. I am enjoying the USW site too.
I see the swan feeding.
Vocal eagles!
yep, I hear them....:)
Would be nice to hear our eagles. They are the ones that taught me what an eagle sounds like!
and yet out of all the eagle cams I watch...they are the least vocal...
showing the 2 adults in the tree now
Hey - Eagles at our nest....
yes Margy we know:)
O never mind I didn't read UP
just getting back
HOLY MOLEY WHAT A PAIR !!
they have been there for awhile:)
poof belle
....and leaving again...no Panda stamps at our post office yet :(
See you all later, going up for James, wish he was here NOW to see Liberty and Belle...
xo
:)
I usually read UP but just about fell over when I saw them...
Ta Ta...♥
have fun Margy....
Just took a bunch of nest pics. I am hoping I might use them for my photography assignment. A photostory of Belle and Lib would be fun.
Is that Lib? Gosh, it's good to see one of OUR eagles again! Gotta have my fix!
Thanks Helen....♥☺ I think I will, coming back here for a sleepover...that's the most fun.
okay really, not pulling any more Ceils or Margys xoxox
B Y E ...
That is a pretty swan at USee, though.
Bye, Margy.
I have to take my computer and hook it to the printer so I can print out the directions for the Photostory assigment.
Hey, Shirley, that's a good idea--a photo story about our eagles! Can't lose with that subject matter!
That's Lib still at the nest? I thought maybe Belle was the first one to arrive. Seemed large.
Lib is so patient! Has to be waiting for you know who!
I have about 100 pictures on my computer. Plenty to select from, or one very long story.
Bye, Margy,
Enjoy your day off! Hope our eagles return later so James can see them!
George just came back to join me on the recliner. Poor guy, he has a time whenever I get up. Keeps lying on the footrest and gets dumped. I think he is mostly on the seat now. This huge recliner has plenty of room for both of us. Perfect. He has not always been coming up to my bedroom at night, and if I come downstairs, he's sleeping on the recliner.
long visit
Shirley,
Our eagles are SO photogenic, seems to me you couldn't lose! Bet you'll get an A+!
Shirley - George knows where the comfort is! But I bet you miss him at night not being on the bed.
If mine are not on the bed - one is in Hubby's chair and one is in mine!
I would have loved seeing our eagles bringing in to the nest those very very long sticks (limbs)
Hi Andy - what are you getting into today? Any rain out your way?
Shirley,
Tell George I said "hello", OK? Glad your big recliner has room for the both of you. Since you're working on your homework, guess I'd better get busy on mine, too. eagle at BWO too..
I'm going to put some pics in the album
Really no movement between them at all
Maybe I'll just put the 1st one in and wait until there is an MT nest to show how long Lib lingered.
Lib looks frozen to that one spot.
Wowser! Just glanced in....and an eagle.
How long has Lib been in the nest?
There has been an eagle since 12:51 at least. Long time. I think that was Belle. Lib came in a few minutes later. He has been there alone since 12:53.
That is a long time! He is not moving much. Interesting!
He's been in that spot for a long time.
Yeah, I am watching him and TCU on TV. Game just started. GO FROGS!
Ribbit:)
Nope! A HORNED FROG! We do not ribbet!!!! lol
I would be worried about Belle, but you all said she was there earlier. I imagine she is in the tree.
HONK, HONK! (Horned Frog)
Don't you think Lib is waiting for Belle to come back and tell him where to put those sticks? LOL
Boo Hiss, Wanda!
It did make both Jack and I smirk! lol
Poop shoot!
Two!
Belle has returned!
Good one, Wanda!!!!Sorry, Lolly.
BOTH!
Jack was commenting that we were seeing the eagles a lot. I had to explain about nestorations and soon to be hanky panky!
Color in the nest is soooo good!
Now for live feed and sound!
Looks like a bit of nestorations.
I gave up outside---too chilly, and feels like dampness is going right to my bones! Still no sun.
Feeling a little bummed out today...think I'll go to the store and buy myself something. BBL
Poof one!
Eagle still there!
I wonder if Belle and Lib are having to protect their nest. (only kidding!) They are declaring squatters rights!!

BWO...update....
11/21/09:
If you visit Blackwater Refuge, you can go to the Visitor Center or the Wildlife Drive and see the eagles sitting on the osprey platform.

Christie got her free turkey at the grocery store today----for my Christmas dinner. We assumed that the free ones would be a limited weight---maybe 12 lbs. Nope....ANY size! So she got a 22pounder! Now I won't have to cook an extra breast! $26 value...good deal!

Time for the split.
just remember it is Saturday....not Thursday:)
