Hi Lynn, I am still putting up Christmas. Today is was my bathroom, bedroom and clothes. Yes, I decorate every room!!!!

It is good news, they got him in so fast and at the place they wanted. They were told he would be on a waiting list for a few weeks. I think his son being a neurosurgeon may have helped some.

Yes Hedgie, I really liked Canada (in the summer) We lived in a little town named Erin and drove about 30 miles to work. I worked about 10 miles NW of the Toronto Airport. Snowed a lot but they know how to remove it. In 11 years I never missed a day of work because of snow.
Did Margy get to see Ceil? Does anyone know? She is one spunky lady! I can't keep up with her.
Margy wasn't sure if she saw them or not. Ceil didn't see Margy, but MM got a picture of her at the station.
Margy was at the station but don't think she could see through the tinted windows. Mits said Ceil did not see her but Mary Margaret did.
Hello.....back from zoo, rained most of the time really hard...only talked to 15 people, I left 15 mins early, the other voulunteer only stayed for a little over an hour and he flew the coop.
hmm, never have gotten that warning about not going to big rig Steve's' site, still get it when I go to Oregon eagle site and Sau St Marie to watch the ships come thru the locks
he is in rush hour traffic somewhere.
I don't get a warning either at either place.
Cool, cam is back and it sounds like you guys saw some action in the nest.

its the Peoples Choice awards....who are these people and why do they get to choose!!!! I have no patience for these kind of shows anymore....I must be getting old....we used to get People magazine all the time, and then hubby and I realized we don't know these people they are talking about, nor, do we care..
I'm with you, cause I really have no use for these awards shows, and I don't get why they need awards for doing their jobs...

I agree. The present-day rosters really suck when you think what award shows were like 30 yrs. ago. Plus it seems like there's one on every month for one reason or another! We ARE getting old...but we aren't stupid!!

Ground is totally carpeted with ice...when it blew off the trees, the noise, especially on the sunroom roof, was absolutely deafening, not to mention a bit scary. Poor dog looked like she wanted to run for cover, but she stayed on my lap and buried her head!
I just don't like it, and the washer and dryer are there....I watch too much HGTV, and want everything to look nice, including my laundry room:)...maybe, I just don't like doing laundry anymore....

I think the only time we never had a basement was in the first house that my folks bought when I was 7. I guess I just have too much stuff!!!! But...I don't have room for the deep freeze anyplace else! And garage is detached and 75 ft. away from house!
LOL We store things in the attic until they get so heavy they crash through the ceiling and hit us on the head. Also, my closets are quite full.
I hope you're just joking, Lolly!! Will always remember my dad falling through the ceiling from the attic! And then a workman did it when they were finishing off the attic!
My utility room is right off the kitchen and it has my washer and dryer plus my freezer.
Also, we have a wall of floor to ceiling cabinets in the garage.
Megan, I cannot believe what is going on, it sounds like if you don't get out, you can't get in...I feel sorry for the people that have to work, like hospital employees or the people that work at hotels....they are closing bridges....and it seems like the buses bringing people into the city, will be parking miles away....thinking of going to the beach...they are even cancelling volunteer shifts at the zoo, even though the zoo will be open...zoo, that is what it is going to be.
Yes, I was joking! :) Jack get to go up there tomorrow as I hand him boxes of Christmas decorations.
Yeah, every day they announce new street and bridge closures, I don't see how anyone is going to get anywhere. And Metro will be a nightmare...

Mits, I am totally appalled at the whole mess of inauguration. I hope that somebody files a lawsuit against the government. Not only will it be so difficult for non-government people to get to their jobs if they live outside the city, but it seems particularly discriminatory to Virginians. And you have to have special tickets to ride MARC, VRE and I think even Metro. They say the city has not been isolated like this since the Civil War.

I can't watch or read the news....it is making me feel very much like I felt after 9-11, trapped.
NBC 4 has the closings posted on their website- wow- so confusing, and if you're in VA, you will have to walk in or goto MD to get into the city.
Hubby has to be out of town all next week, so I might go to beach next Thursday, I have my long day at zoo next Wednesday or I would leave this Sunday.

Very busy at work today w/rush job for Div. Chief. Two of us there today finished at 8 PM. Had dinner and konked out in lounge chair.
News flash for Wed. AM was spotting of sapsuckers!!Never saw them in past til Feb! Maybe I can get a current pic today.
Checked Live cam & it appears to be OK---black surroundings & night light on.(Have not read comments.)

Missed the flight out- was at the bus stop.
And a lot of snowing in Maine.
BBBRRRR!!! Had to go out and fill up the bird feeders!! It is absolutely beautiful out there. This is the snow we have been looking for!! Another day to be grateful we work at home!!
Been struggling this morning to find the spot that is not hitting that sciatic nerve, think I am getting closer to it. That is a real bugger, I tell ya it is!
oh man, the birds were looking at me when I walked back in from the bus stop. Guess I will go feed them, going to be a challenge to put some seed out where it won't blow away.

Have to, too far to walk to the bus stop. Sometimes in warmer weather a group of the kids will walk back up from the bus stop, but not in the morning.

Everyone is okay here, Magpie. Sharon didn't go to Bedford last night, weather was starting to get a little rough and she isn't gonna be able to get that darn drain out so she is going home with Thelma when she comes in this weekend. She is gonna stay down there next week I think. Haven't talked to Thelma but Sharon has and I think she is doing okay.
Good morning everyone. I haven't even turned onthe cam yet. still prying these eyes open but have a Staff meeting this morning so up and at em anyway. Then I get to go back and work the overnight once again. In the middle it will be hopefully a couple of hours of eagle pictures. Its cold out there 8 degrees but sunny an dlight winds right now. I will be bundled up in a few layers. Might have to sit by the window to get through the meeting. Then off to do the fun stuff for a little while anyway.

A band of light snow from Augusta to Martinsburg will continue travelling southeast...reaching Frederick Maryland...northern Loudoun County...to Winchester Virginia by 9am. The snow will last between 15 to 30 minutes. No accumulation is expected.

It looked familiar because I bought one for my yard last year. Deer never did come back. Had one in the yard and went to Tractor Supply and bought anything I could find that I thought they would like. Never saw it again!!
