Norma - I am NOT working today, but have a training class to go at 10 am.
Working on a Birthday project for my next older sibling, he turns 60 - on Jan 18 - all the sisters and one other brother are making up a presentation for him, and I am the conduit. So I am "composing" now...He is #7 of 8 kids, the one sister passed away last December so I am trying to include some things for her too...

They are emailing their things to me, and I am printing and putting into a folder. There is a Lot of Material, and it is fun to get everyone's different stories. He is a Hoot! He is the one that nicknamed me "Magpie" many years ago. ☺

Good morning everyone. Are you ready for some cold temps later this week. Even North Alabama is supposed to get down to 8°. It DOES get cold here sometimes. Our record low is -11.
Paula, sound drivers are located in the system.ini file under the C:\Windows directory. Your problem is a little different from Hedgies though. She has to completely shut down or reboot to get rid of hers. I don't know why yours would do it only after the page has been up for a while.

Good Morning Everyone! Just got our eagle fix here at the Park.(No one visible in nest this AM)Dozens of black ducks flew up from the river, which is usually a sign. Then an immature landed in a tree right by us & took off up the river.

That warm is unusual even for LA this time of year.
I spent one whole winter in Santa Monica which is just west of LA on the coast and I dont' believe it got much over the upper 70's all the time I was there. Of course that was 40 years ago. Guess things have warmed up since then.

I called up to Maine when we first began. Hearing all that building. Lady said she hadn't been out to nest recently. Although she knew from a storm they were chopping up trees that fell. I told her we heard people talking and it sounds like they are building a house. Oh no she said. Now I'm stil wondering if she really knows what is going on near the eagles nest?

...the lows have supposed to have been around 50°. but they never fell much below 70. I wonder if their equipment is faulty or if they are reporting the wrong town!!??

It is presently 43 here with bright blue skies and sun shine, and just a little breeze. Enough to keep Jack from burningt the leaves.
Well, geez it's 47 here right now, and that's a heat wave compared to the temps we will be having starting tomorrow. So far Jim wins the prize for desirable temps... maybe I should be heading to CA... Back out, trying to get some outside chores done today before it gets unbearably cold...daughter wants snow and I just want Spring.
Megan, I did some work outside yesterday. Cut back my daisies, Jack was raking and blowing. He cut back all the fern as well. Soon as we get all the leaves taken care of we are going to enlarge one island (trees and English ivy) and put stone around another flower bed. Also, want to enrich the soil there.

Okay, I read back just a little bit. I was supposed to go to UVA on Thursday but called and talked to the surgeon. He says to wait until next week to come as the drain is still draining too much to come out. He said they may have to adjust it a little bit next week. More will be revealed. I just know I want it out but not while it is still draining.
