Thanks everyone.. I've been busy with photos and I'm finally getting them up in the blog. Never enough time to get everything done. Boy oh boy whata lunch they had... now the camera is frozen... arrghh...

I seen one in the nest refreshed. Pic wouldn't come on the screen. By the time I opened new page and got live video proof---knotna---none---gone. Well at least I seen our one eagle for awhile.
It is raining at NBG maybe someone already said that.
Wel, Donnie, sometimes the cam works better than others, the NCTC staff is going through some upgrades...don't panic...☺

I still hear that chirp at OUR nest, they must be close, don't think it is any other bird....
I do hear some other little chirpy things but those are other birds, and I have Maine up too.

Just remembered I have Pelican Harbor up too, and there are always little chirpy birds there, think that is where they are coming from, the little bird noises. Okay, just closed that one, no more little birds.

Earlier Margy the only sound I have is from our nest. Our eagle was making sounds.

It as got to be the kinetic energy of the birds that zaps the sound!
Can't see it now...either out of Belle's shadow or she moved whatever it was! Nestorations.
Looks like 5'ish is going to be a "count-on" visit time!!!!
Had to clean out stove today..so now gotta go get fresh fire built up before it gets dark! Much easier to find what I want for kindling in daylight rather than artificial. BBL. Bye Lib & Belle...

It will be once it gets going good, Margy! It's a lot of work, but it's the warmest heat, and the cheapest!! House (which is really a high, open-ceiling log cabin) is impossible to heat w/ electricity...gas stove does well, but uses too much propane! Wood stove keeps house between 75-80°toasty, tho' too warm for some people---but not for me!!
I had a wood stove when I lived on Mary Street, you are right, a lot of work, but very satisfying...
except when the creosote got to the stove pipe! Pee-uuu...smelled like burnt hot dogs...

I've tried to adjust camera for best viewing of the chicks hatching over the next few days (hopefully). I will pull it back again as they get bigger.

Happy New Year! Sorry it's taken so long to respond to your email. I worked through the holidays with no time to check email or even get on the computer much at all, I'm just now getting to overdue responses to messages. Anyway, yes the camera's will be back, actually the EC maintenance day is this Wednesday, Jan 14th. If all goes well, it may all be up and running by this weekend if not sooner.

We made it to CA today, about 45 minutes late. The door to the plane wouldn't close in Minneapolis, it was too cold, -17. I was sure glad we didn't have to go outside, but the inside of the airplane gangplank was covered with frost! We got to Huntington Beach and the temp was 86! Talk about a temp change. We will be busy the next few days, but I will try to pop on.
