NatureNut said...

Thank you, Steve. Did we break a record?

Mema Jo said...

We broke the record for SPLITS on one thread - We had FOUR !

carolinabeachmom said...

Wow, thanks Steve for the new thread. I, too, hope you are feeling ok. That was a looooong time between threads.

Time for our dinner........

BBL

floralgirl said...

Potato chops are what you type when you are panicked because it is just too quiet downstairs and you are scurrying up and down the steps to make sure kiddies have plenty of oxygen...all the while trying to make dinner...

carolinabeachmom said...

Yes, WANDA, thanks for the heads up on the new thread. I was going to ask you if you gals had ever gone to 800 before.

Mits said...

LOL....OH MEGAN, the fun is just beginning:)

NatureNut said...

Cam & Blog locked up after birds left & I had to go on again. That's how I saw new thread! Woulda stayed on old one 4ever.
Gotta fix din din before next Great Game!!!!

floralgirl said...

This is not my definition of fun....

Mits said...

I think we have gone farther, Candy, but we never used to split long ago.

Mits said...

not for you....do you like him, how is hubby with this?

carolinabeachmom said...

Well guess I'll head for the kitchen too. You all have a good evening. I might have to deliver a birthday present to my new DIL after supper tonight.

floralgirl said...

Barely know him, goes to different school, quiet in front of me, hubby is watching the game and not helping me at all...
I have some issues with the two of them, that's why he's here, couple of weeks ago they went bowling, and I don't think there was much bowling going on, told kid she would have to earn my trust back before I would drop her anywhere he was, he was welcome to come here. SO here we all are:) going to eat some dinner...

Costume Lady said...

Supper time here too. Wow...it's been a while since I have fixed supper. I think I can, I think I can:)

Mits said...

I think it must be harder with girls...I remember my Mom grounding me because of sneaking around with boyfriend....

Mits said...

see ya, Candy

Mits said...

looks like LW is back up and running

hedgie said...

Oh, Megan, this is just the beginning, girlfriend!! It gets worse!!
Wanda, you mean you didn't cook in the Express??? Or is the Capt. the cook when you are on the road??
I think it would be really neat to have the Ravens and the Eagles vying for the championship! JMHO.

movin said...

Hey, there's hardly any comments on this line! What happened.

Hahaha.

The Cardinals were way ahead, I laid down to rest my back; and when I woke up....
The Eagles have evened it up quite a lot.

Good evening everyone!! Wanda, I am so glad to see you back, saw where you had a great trip. And Gee Gee did so well, that is just fantastic.

small crowd for a nice day...

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Tom is still at his Mom's but I had to come home so I can start work in the morning and not have to break and come home. Gives him and his mom some quiet time too. He is a momma's boy for sure. That is one of the many things that makes him so great!!

coincidental I'm sure

floralgirl said...

Ah..dinner's over, that wasn't too bad..kid seems nice, shy and polite.

Mema Jo said...

4 to 6 deer in the PA snowy woods!

hedgie said...

Boo...Eagles blew it.
Yippee...tub drain thawed out! Just to clarify..it's not that the basement is cold...it's the fact that the drain goes out on a grade that puts it only about 4 inches underground where it passes through the wall!

Mema Jo said...

I think that the Lake Washington cam is up & running now.....

Mits said...

hey Jo, it is snowing at the beach:)

Mema Jo said...

Hedgie - if you can let the tub DRIP slightly it may now freeze..

Costume Lady said...

Oh, I forgot, Helen...you are at the beach and away from all the madness in the city. Enjoy the ocean view...I miss it already! Driving up AlA is so beautiful.

hedgie said...

Jo, have tried that...drain line still freezes up when it gets real cold. Actually, it's surprising that it didn't do a couple of nights ago when it was much colder!!

Costume Lady said...

Sissy, good to hear from you. Your Tom is a good man if he is a Mama's Boy:) How's the ankle?

Mema Jo said...

No Wanda it is on the beach cams....

http://www.ococean.com/webcam.html

hedgie said...

Oh, just saw the horrible mess i Temple Hills, MD...water main rupture, homes flooded...poor folks.

Mits said...

no Wanda, I'm still here, hubby was out of town all this past week, didn't want him to have to drive 3 hours after his long week....I'm watching the beach on the different cams I have.

Mema Jo said...

The cam on North Division Street has about 8 different views if you keep
watching.

Mema Jo said...

lol Someone is running around on the boardwalk... I just saw a lot of
footprints on the Worcester Street Cam

Costume Lady said...

Megan, enjoy this time in your daughter's life. We enjoyed our daughters teen years so much. Many parties in this house. We joined in with the kids every now and then. They never knew when we would come down the stairs and start dancing right along with them. You have to trust them, but keep them guessing. You can only do so much and then hope that your teaching kicks in sooner or later:)

magpie said...

Bird Girl reports that #3 and #4 Zebra finch babies hatched yesterday, one of the four has failed to survive, but she is excited about the remaining 3. This was not on the eaglet page, I emailed her with an inquiry. Sure hoping the rest pull through. ☺

Costume Lady said...

Helen, hope you are not going to try to join in with that craziness. You couldn't pay me to be there. I have a fear of some violence. (hope not, but just have a feeling). Stay indoors and watch it on TV and be safe!

Mits said...

Jo I sent you a pick of the guy walking around with no coat and shorts on, must be celebrating MLK and the Inauguration day:)

Mits said...

no way, Wanda....hanging out at the house, you could not pay me to go downtown, I don't even like going there on a normal day

floralgirl said...

Don't worry, Wanda- I'm hanging in there, kid has always exhibited very good judgement, love all her friends, this is just new nerve wracking territory...
I don't worry about violence Tuesday, just too many people, we really thought about going early on, until Metro started talking about "crushing crowds"-not sure they are ready for the amount of people trying to ride Metro, beent here for many big events, and they usually have long lines and backups...

magpie said...

One bird and one bird only at Hummingbird...not looking good...:(

magpie said...

I would always be worrying where to find a Ladies' Room..

so I couldn't do those long lines and stuff!

Wish I could stay home and watch, though, but I have to work :(

Costume Lady said...

Lynn, no, I don't cook in the Eagle Express...we have Marie Callendar to cook for us when we don't eat out:) We all love trying different restaurants when we travel. GeeGee ate like a teenaged boy the whole time we were gone! I know the doctor is gong to be pleased with her...she must have gained 5 lbs:)

magpie said...

Nice Buck at Pennsylvania Woods ☺

Mema Jo said...

Our big buck is back in the PA woods!

Got the pics of OC Helen - that is too funny!

Watching THE game of the evening...
So we know it is AZ and ??

magpie said...

Really sounds nice for GeeGee and you and Gene, Wanda.
Did you get any crab legs on your travels?

Mits said...

oh wow, he is handsome

magpie said...

His neck is still all full and muscular looking, like he would be ready for another "season." ♥

magpie said...

Mother is off the eggs at Humminbird, that doesn't last long

magpie said...

well off the nest I should say

magpie said...

Those glowing eyes are a little overwhelming and distracting The buck, that is

Costume Lady said...

Margy, you will be working and helping to protect the public, just as the law enforcement officers do, on Ignauguration Day, and we thank you for that:)

Mits said...

there must be more and more people watching that nest, always takes awhile to get on to it

magpie said...

Thank you Wanda...I'll get my rest and try to be ready, for whatever comes along.

I will never forget what it was like to report for duty at 4 pm on September 11....

Mits said...

they only way I think there could be some violence is if people don't get onto the parade route, they are only limited spots and then they will close it off, the majority are going to be watching it on the jumbo-tron

Mits said...

doe at salt lick

Mits said...

poof doe

magpie said...

Okay, that was a quick switch up at Pix...must have changed to the other cam views for a minute. Saw something in midnight blue !

It is a RIOT when something disappears just like magic there !
Like the buck deer just now poofed!

Okay, back to the kitchen. I am cooking and cleaning up after myself...

Mits said...

don't think the next hummer egg is going to hatch

floralgirl said...

Me either:( It's been too long with those holes in it, think it should've been hatched by now.

Costume Lady said...

Margy, we did have crab legs one evening while in Vero Beach...not as good as China Buffet.

Dave, loved the photo of the wren nesting in the gourd. I have tried to raise those gourds, but mine never get big enough to make a bird house out of:(:(

floralgirl said...

Nice pics, Dave:)
Wanda, just remind me, I'll give you some gourds next year, might have one floating around, I'll have to look. I have them hangiong everywhere in my yard.

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Wow, those deer are beautiful on PA Pix.

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Wanda, my ankle is much better, thank you.

Been fighting this sciatica thing for a few weeks now, reckon it is an after effect of the wreck, it is not very much fun. It is coming and going and not constant anymore, so maybe it is getting better. (Wish it would hurry!!)

WISH I WAS A PANDA!!!

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

That is a great shot, Mits, very clear pic.

magpie said...

It might never go away, Sissy, if it is an injury - don't let too much time pass regarding it (Sciatica) -
funny, I have been off work all week, little problem, tomorrow will be challenge.

magpie said...

Time to turn down the sheets, fluff up the pillows, and head for dreamland.

Peace, Love, Strength, and Prayers, friends. xo ♥

Let's pray for the success of the new President, his administration and the American people in winning through the wars and possible depression we are facing.
