I don't remember a lot of those things, but I was hardly ever sick. I didn't miss a day of school for sickness, just sometimes for traveling at holidays. I wonder where all my attendance awards went to, I suppose my mom got rid of them.

We have watched Lib stand in the nest for a long time, and then he would start working about 10 seconds before she showed up. Had to look busy I guess! :)
It did make a HUGE difference when I shut anything else down, don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but I have still not had to refresh since I did that.

Just found out that SIL picked up 2 of the nails in his tires last Fri. Just found them today when noticed tires low. Drat....offered to get him new tires, but he says he'll just plug...hope that works, cause I sure didn't want to spend tax refund on tires for anyone! Since I haven't been out since that day, I guess I better go check air pressure on mine.

I wouldn't know about eagles calling out because I can't keep the sound or the picture going long enough. First sounds goes away, then pic freezes up!

Hi all! Been busy working on birthday cakes. Have been thinking of you, Megan. Happy Birthday! Jan 30 is a very special day. My parents were married on Jan 30 and we saw and brought Michael home for the first time Jan. 30. He was 12 days old. 40 years ago today. I remember it like yesterday!
Have made an Elvis cake for Zach's big birthday party tomorrow. (Birthday is Sunday!) And, Ashley just called and Zach is sick. Do not know if the party is on or off. Second cake is cooling and then I will ice and decorate it. Bummer! Guess I will try freezing them.....by OMG there is NO room in the freezer. This should be interesting!

Jack is out digging in the yuck. Took a dead tree down recently and it apparently broke one of the sprinkler system water pipes underground. Lovely!
He is leaving me tomorrow. Will be all by my lonesome self for a week. He is going to Houston, to NASA for consulting on some tests.

I am not sure what "Nona" is, I kind of think it means grandmother. I think that is what I read. She is young, from Italy, and cooks many of her grandmother's recipes. Only 6 tables in this place, can seat only 18 or 19 people at a time. You have to get there early to get a table.
How's it going for you Sharon? Is your surgeon happy with how you are doing?

We're only about six weeks away from seeing our ospreys migrate up from South and Central America and return to the Osprey Cam for a new season.
Our eagles will be happy to see them -- the eagles like to steal their fish!
WEIRD NEWS....
HEBRON, Ind. - A woman who wasn't invited to her sister's wedding reception showed up anyway and attacked the bride, pulling out clumps of her hair, police said.
Annmarie Bricker, 23, of Valparaiso, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of battery.
Jeremy Glotzbach told police he was hosting a reception for newlyweds Nicholas Landry and Lori Kappes at his home on Jan. 23 when Bricker, Kappes' sister, attacked Kappes on the front porch.
Bricker pulled out clumps of Kappes' hair, struck her head and took the bride to the ground during a struggle, according to the Porter County Sheriff's Department.
Bricker told police she went to the house because she "just wanted to talk" to her sister and parents about family problems. She said she never touched her sister, but five witnesses contradicted her, authorities said. Kappes did not need medical treatment.
Bricker later resigned from her job as a Porter County 911 dispatcher, officials said.
