We just returned from eating out. One of our best meals EVER!

They headed out on schedule Thursday morning, Gene had the CB on and heard about the interstate being closed, so they detoured off onto Rt 11S, that was just as bad, clogged with other detourers. So Gene figured out a way to get to where he needed to be by going to Charles Town! Part II to follow..

Tonight the Captain, First Mate, and GeeGee are bedded down in South Carolina. They went shopping in SC, at two thrift stores and one antique shop. GeeGee found a table that she really liked and wanted....Wanda had to talk her out of it...
When I called tonight, Gene answered, he thought it was his buddy calling that he had "called ealier" (though it was my phone he called) - so he passed me over to Wanda. We had a good chuckle over it, told her to tell Gene he needs to call his buddy at the right number next time!
Wanda sends love and hugs to all, and asked that I tell you she misses you!
She sounded like a little girl. ☺

Had a crazy afternoon...computer server at other store crashed...had to go over and get it back up and running...finally left work around 8ish...
Made me miss my visit w/ Mom...going down tomorrow no matter what the weather...
The Christmas lights are dwindling, and nothing but boring stuff in the mailboxes...don't like this part about the Christmas season... :(

Here's a bad one at work Wednesday night that I missed out on completely: ALL the radios went down for about 90 minutes...something went amiss with a generator and an antenna somewhere...

We went to a little restaurant tonight. 6 tables inside and some outside. ^es, comfortable enough to eat outside tonight, 68. This is the third time there and the first time we got in. It is real Italian cooking...yummy.

Paula, I got some video tonight, but not at the best time. My dad called, he wants us to leave for his house at 7 AM on Wednesday, so we avoid traffic. Yuck.

Wish I could TGIF it with a drink...sure could use one tonight...but better be nice to the tummy. It's feeling better, I ate real food today, but don't want to push my luck!

Tiramasu, awesome! Someone brought one of those cakes to the office for Christmas..wasn't sure if I would get loopy from eating it, but I ate it anyway. Same person (friend of the office, not a staff member) sent in a pound cake ooozing with rum one time, but I had to cut that into pieces and send them Home with people....
Time for the pillows, you folks take care, and one last Happy Birthday Lolly, think I got my math right second time around.

Hello and goodnight! Got home late, as I knew I would. Lots of good tasting, but Lolly's dinner, Megan's drink and Jim's cake all sound better!!

Deb, does your dad live near you? Are you all flying to CA? Certainly hope so!! The way the crazy weather has been, it's probably tricky any way you go, but...at least--hopefully--flying will get you to the church on time!!
