01/23/09:
More mating by our couple. We would expect the first egg any time between now and the end of the month.
Eggs at this nest have arrived from early morning to late afternoon.

I was just on the Maine forum and the OK cam is up and running, but I am not getting any pictures. They have a new close-up cam this year.
CO cam is up, too!
I tried after you mentioned OK cam Deb, but I could not get it.

Deb, I really enjoy your pictures a lot. Thank you very much for sharing them. I captured a water fowl that I cannot identify on my walk yesterday. I may post it later to see if anyone can help me out.

I would love to see your picture, Loretta is very good at ID-ing birds, as are a lot of others on this site. I end up looking up most of them in my bird book.
It is nice to have you back, we are anxiously awaiting eggs at some of the nests. Blackwater should be first.

our eagle has been there a long time.
Hi gang. Terrible morning here. Lots of puter problems.....Horma, a bunch of my email disappeared, too. Checked TRASH folder, restored it, and then lost it from both places. FInally rebooted, and it had been restroed. Couldn't get on the blog until after a couple of reboots. ARGH!!! Problems must be in cyberspace, since Norma and I don't have the same server!

DEB Last year I always watched Ft St Vrain - I can't even get the Daily pics up.... I thought FEB was the date for the cam... Help me get to where you are to see the eagle... Is it the female with the WILD HAIRDO again this year?
Jo, when you open the link I posted, up in the right hand corner of the page, it says "live video". I have to click on that and it opens up a screen with three choices. Then I click on Eagle nest. I hope that is what happens on a PC, too.
Both eagles are in the nest now, I don't see a wild hairdo. Oops, off goes one eagle.
Back to two eagles in CO.

I got it... I need to read about the cam view.. Looks different from last year.
The eagles were gone by the time I got there but I bookmarked my page and then in my looooooooong list of favorites I noticed it was still there.. Need to look closer next time & I just didn't wait long enough for the cam to open..
