Happy day before Thanksgiving. As you've noticed, the cam is having power issues. We have ordered a new solar panel, a new battery, some other electronics, and will have the tree service in, hopefully next week, to do some trimming up around the cam before things get busy on the nest.
Couple this work with the new website and streaming video, and we'll be ready for the next nesting cycle. So bear with us as we get this work done.

Hi everyone. Haven't finished catching up yet on all the comments since I left....a routine color apptmt. turned into a three hour ordeal! Then a couple of errands, came home to find eldest and her family here--SIL working on new corn feeder..trying a timed dispenser again so that corn doesn't disppear so fast.
Then I made the dressing and the pies...and I am slam wore out!
Still need to check Dave and Gene's pics!
Dog got into trash when I had my back turned and was chomping on a paper towel. Argh! Can't trust her for a minute...you'd think she was a pup instead of 9 y.o.!!!

Mine root through any trash can that's on the floor for paper...kleenex, napkins, paper towels..they still love to tear them up and eat them

Thank goodness mine don't do that. I think these are the first dogs I have had that leave the garbage alone.

Cinnamon is the first one I've ever had that does this!!! Can't put anything in bthroom trash except empty TP tubes! Kitchen is okay til it gets full--then a quick jump up w/ feet on rim and snatch!!
My puppy sound is gone.
I have to keep all my trash cans off the floor or the bathroom door shut. The kitchen can has a lid.

LYNN, yes that is Jerry Steerman; the camp belongs to him. He didn't get a deer either :) I think the both of them enjoy looking at them more than shooting them now!

Sharon, it is good to hear you are out of the hospital and at Thelma's!
They put me on Avelox and are going to treat me presumptively for MRSA. There was not enough material to culture so they are just going to treat it as such. I have to go back next Thursday to see both surgeons and hopefully get a drain or 3 out! ☺
I am going home tomorrow. Thanks so much for everyones's prayers. Powerful stuff happening here.

Just got on.....lots of stuff going on around here. Laurel, Joey, and the boys are here, as well as their dog Bosco.
Anyway, Joey let Bosco out just a little while ago and he got sprayed by a SKUNK! Now Bosco is a BIG dog. We got on line to find out how to bathe him and with what. Then my neighbor heard the ruckus (and smelled the air!). She came over in her robe, carrying a flashlight and brought us a bottle of special wash. Bosco is now in the garage.
So, as you read this you have much to be thankful for....Bosco is NOT your dog and he is not at your house. LOL
I just saw the time.

It sounds like Lolly started out her Thanksgiving Day celebrations a little early; the family is all there and their dog, Bosco, already being sprayed by a skunk. :)
AND Margy up half the night cooking and baking for her Thanksgiving feast. I hope she finally got to sleep and got a good rest.
Our live cam still has the static bug and looking at the still cam, nothing there yet.
BWO nest is MT yet and there are just squirrels foraging for food in Pa. Maine cam has beautiful blue skies showing but no birds. Poor little Luney is fast asleep yet all alone; no Lun Lun

Lun Lun just came in, picked up Luney and is cradling him in her arms. Don't know if it is breakfast time or they are just cuddling. Now Lun Lun is patting Luney's body and as Luney is waking up.Both rolled over and laying side by side.
