Eewiee was just sitting on the hole and then on the ledge and then gone....

Oh, I forgot to tell you, Gene said there is a foot of snow in area of Elkins where he is. They are expecting more, so he went into town to get all the supplies they will need, just in case the roads get closed.
That's Way Cool about the snow in Elkins! Sure is going to make for a frosty Hunt though...is the Captain taking some pictures?

Hope it's peaceful there---not like here! In Laurel today they had to lockdown 6 schools to chase bank robbers who were running w/guns. One robber got shot dead, caught another & think 3rd is out of that immediate area. Always something.

Hubby and I were going up 95 north today Went to Cracker Barrel for lunch and I have never seen so many State Police stopping cars. Coming back one car was stopped 3 police cars and the guys were handcuffed.
Deb we have had a pair of falcons here for years Not the same pair. The live on the USF&G building.
Mason Update:
Back in home town, but news from Paoli. Mason's had a good week so far. He is out of isolation and has his purple speaking tube back in, which makes a big difference in working with the therapists. He is turning his head in response to people. Sylvia, the therapist and our obnoxious nurse Brian, (his words) have got him to do this. He will follow the TV when it is on, ( the T.V. on the boom arm that Anika can't help running into with her head) by moving it around. Sylvia bought a cheap guitar at a flea market and placed it in his lap and played. This got Mason's attention. It got mine too since I know somebody with a music store that has a few guitars that could very well make their way to Bryn Mawr. The other day Brian the nurse was on guitar and Dr. Long, the head cheese of Bryn Mawr, on keyboard, were in Mason's room jamming, getting him all revved up. That is direct music therapy. Speaking of which, Sylvia is arranging for a music therapist to come in to work with Mason. It is not part of their program at BMR but they embraced the idea.
He can follow some commands, blinking eyes, moving the fore and middle finger, I think he moves the middle finger at me when he's tired of me trying to get him to do stuff.
Mason should start the dugs today, since we have gotten past all of our little set backs during the past few weeks. Hoping for the best and the best to all of you.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Dr Pepper is making good on its promise of free soda now that the release of Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy is a reality.
The soft-drink maker said in March that it would give a free soda to everyone in America if the album dropped in 2008. Chinese Democracy, infamously delayed since recording began in 1994, goes on sale Sunday.
"We never thought this day would come," Tony Jacobs, Dr Pepper's vice president of marketing, said in a statement. "But now that it's here, all we can say is: The Dr Pepper's on us."
Beginning Sunday at 12:01 a.m., coupons for a free 20-ounce soda will be available for 24 hours on Dr Pepper's website. They'll be honored until Feb. 28.

...but I need to ask you to keep Rob Compton in your thoughts and prayers. This is my ex, and my eldest son's father. He has been battling cancer for the last year and a half.
It seems the doctors have done all they can do. The family is calling in Hospice and Rob will be going home from the hospital as soon as Hospice can set up at his home.
Rob is remarried to Donna. He also has 2 daughters, Holly and Sarah. I just ask that you keep him and his family in your prayers for a peaceful ending. Thank you all.
