Not since Friday when we went to pool. They mess me up too much..So try not to take them. Tried all differnt kinds. It isn't has bad as it has been.

"Biting the bullet" as I call it and living with the pain has to be very hard on you. Didn't I read where the pool helped some? If so, how often would you go. Or did I read that your were all sore the nest day?
Our eagles had better get back and guard their nest, before the BLACK CROWS take it over. That crow was close and I was glad I was watching here and not sitting in the nest. :)
Yes I did do myself in at the pool one day. Instructor was having us bend just slightly to the left then to the right. I guess slightly was ok for awhile then bam. My right back when on me again. Was out for awhile. Back in now but have to take it slower. Dr. said I can't do some of those exercises. Instructor ok with it. He knows I have cervical and spinal stenosis. So yes we go 3 x's a week to Winchester.
lol Candy that crow we know isn't that big. The sound on here makes it sound GIANT. So yes you better watch sitting in the nest. Don't want to have to type "Candy is now AWOL BY CROW". Plus the explaining to everyone. Candy I just can't do it!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHA! That sure would be a sight worth seeing; the little crow trying to carry my huge body off and then you trying to explain it. It would give everyone something to giggle about for the rest of the day anyhow.

People find feathered friends...You know Candy that comes in here. Well this morning we were watching our live eagle cam. Candy was blogging then all of a sudden a "crow we heard". Our Candy disappeared!!! She is now AWOL or MIA by a CROW!!!!! Please don't ask me any question I am still in awe....

Could be one of them birds used by the military and it's sending Morse code.

Norma, I was just reading on AOL the other day that this is not the best time price wise for buying new computers. After Christmas sales ... unless you just have to have one before that.
Sound ... have you looked on the right side of your taskbar (bottom of the screen) for the speaker icon? You can double click on that, then make sure nothing is "muted" and set all the adjustments to about medium.
See if that works. My sound is always being readjusted without my knowledge ... by videos and I don't know what. Anyway, I've had mine turned down all the way several times before.

HELP!! Red...Jim...Paula....I can't get a CD to eject from computer. It's a trimline upright CPU with a little door that I push on an indentation to get it to open....and it won't! Tried clicking on eject in iTunes, and nothing happened there, either. Any suggestions??

Lynn, there should be a little hole on the front of the player. If you stick a paper clip in it, it should open the door and eject the cd.
Norma, did you check to see if the speakers connection is loose? You probably did, but just a thought.

Sounds like there is a little good news being reported. They say that Prayers really help.
REBOOTING helps too. Some help here,... maybe.
My computer has loads of memory and is very,very fast BUT every time I bring up a new Camera it slows down just a little and after looking at ten or so I can see a difference.
Also at EACH of these and also at EVERY site we go to they add literally hundreds of "temporary internet files" and "cookies" to our computers. They will stay in our computers and slow them down unless we do something to reduce them. In my opinion the temp. files are NOT needed, so I get rid of them. Most of the so called cookies are "tracking cookies" that watch everything that we do so that others can tailor advertisements and other JUNK to us. (I save only six cookies that are helpful to ME. [One is my zip code for the Weather Channel.]}
I haven`t had trouble with my computer for a long time and I`m wondering if maybe some of the trouble that we`ve been reading about is caused by the above.
Hope this will help even one person. Sorry for the long message.
P.S...Jo said we might need an IT specialist. I`m not a specialist but if anyone needs help I`ll be happy to try to help.

A different problem pops up every day - I follow your directions and each day at sign off I clean out all the temps and the cookies. Mainly run firefox - very little use if any of IE. My hubby keeps me straight so no trips to Middletown for you and Dot!

So I have learned, when in dire straits, DELETE!!
I also ran AdAware a few weeks ago & saw that all the "potential threat" problems were contained in Cookies! So we should eat them. ☺
Jo... Quick Question...Do you know how to empty your temporary internet files automatically? It saves a bunch of time and you only have to do it ONCE.
(With this method you still have to delete the cookies each time)

Thanks, Paulleo, for the reminders...I try to remember to dump temps and cookies a couple times a week. Most of the time mu biggest problem is too many cams and downloads exceed the Fair Access Policy, so then Hughes punishes me for at least 24 hrs. by slowing things down so much that I can't do hardly anything. The only time we aren't subject to the limits--which they don't give the parameters for--is between 3am-6am...LOL, like I'm doing those things in my sleep!!!
Sharon, you might try some hot moist compresses and some Neosporin! Put in a call to your local doc and ask!!

At the lake I kept hearing an eagle, couldn't find it. Finally in a tree right near the road where I haven't ever seen eagles roost before, there sat two of them. I saw a juvie get chased off, but couldn't get pictures of it.
Whatever the Maine eagle is eating is white with feathers, a gull, I assume.
Now both in Maine!!

Paulleo, it's been so long since the last episode of 24, that I don't remember what happened last!!!
What Paulleo has said about temporary internet files is true. Also I would recommend everyone purchasing and installing anti-spyware. Spyware is the most common reason for computer slowdowns and hangups. I use Vipre which is in my opinion the best antivirus and antispyware combination on the market. I have it set to run a scan at 6 AM daily while I'm not doing anything else on the PC. For years I used Norton but it hogs too much memory and slows things down just about as much as some spyware. Everyone should power their computer completely off every day or two just to clean memory. I do know computers and was a computer technician for most of my working life. The last 10 years I was with a group of technicians supporting 1200 PC users at the US ARMY Space and Missle Defense Command in Huntsville, Alabama. I have been retired for 5 years so I'm not completely up to date but still know a few things. lol
Hmm, maybe I will set the VCR to tape that....not gonna be home...hopping in the shower here shortly...have to go pick up family member at airport and take to viewing tonight.
Also Norma, if your PC is only three years old I would not recommend a new one. If checking your speaker connections does not resolve your sound problem, you should take your PC to Best Buy or a local PC Repair and let a qualified technican look at it. It could be something very simple or it could mean a new computer board but still cheaper than a new computer.
Red, I still have three months left on my Norton/Symantec....should I just forget it and get Viper??

But I was off by one degree in elevation. We rushed outside, didn`t see the tool bag but DID see the ISS!!!! Very bright and very low in elevation. First time for us. Happy,Happy!

Sure didn't see the toolbag, but sure did see the ISS - - looked almost like a comet with a tail, the way the reflected light was shining through what I guess was some light cloud cover! It was much brigther and traversed longer than I expected! It is so neat the way it fades away and then Poof just like our Eagles, gone!

Okay - taking care of things included reading all the Posts.
Some Great computer tips on here today! I have Mozilla Firefox but haven't fooled with it much. Last spring I upgraded Real Player to 11.0 then could not get Live Eagle Feed for weeks! Paula helped me through that...I went back to an older version, 10 or 10.5... Most of what I do is on IE - guess I should experiment a little.
I do those other things, delete cookies and temporary files and all, then shut down...takes awhile but it sure is worth it!
We are fortunate to have some helpsters amongst the Momsters and Dadsters...

The birds are awakening at the nest, I can hear about three different calls...but none are our eagles. Saturday they showed up at 6:40; it's 6:25 now.
