good Morning all. Its a cool morning and I have opened the house to air it out. Its going to be a hot day so I will have to close soon. I havent read the blog it everyone ok?

Norma, I have had Afican Americans wait on me at CB, also they have managers.....turning off puter....Margy, look at bottom of panda page for sloth bears...they are on the ASIAN TRAIL...UNHOOKING NOW....BYE
Norma, we had 4 beautiful bucks at the edge of our woods a few days ago. We don't very often see bucks, mostly does. Don't very often see fawns either.
I have started a new blog and I call it WILD AND WONDERFUL. I will be putting some of my favorite animal photos there. I have a photo of one of the bucks, NORMA if you would like to see it. Just tune in my blog.
WANDA - Saw all your new photos and Facials, and noticed the new PHOTO section too...Great Stuff...hope I can do some of that someday...post pictures..
MORNIN' ANNE----Do you have your ducks all in a row?---I am thinking about you---this may be a good thing---but take your time ---of course that is easy for me to say!!---REMEMBER---you have SPUNK!!!
Oh Wanda, you are something else. I love your pictures but most of all I hadnt seen my second facial and want to know what you did with that man. I think you took him because I cant find him around here. LOL
Just read back on comments- Sharon called Mits around 11:30 and had just gotten Metro.. Mits had said that in order to get to Panda House from Metro stop - you must pass the Sloth Bears. So I will keep looking at that cam in case she waves through the looking glass!!!
The panda cams are not showing any of the visitors like they sometimes do.
Good Morning AML.. I would LOVE to have a big red barn for a costume shop. I have out-grown mine, once again. We bought our 1st on a number of years ago (we had been working from our rec-room) and it was wonderful...14 x 30 ft. Out-grew that and got a 14 x 36 ft. and a higher ceiling...was wonderful. Now we have outgrown that, but I don't think we will be buying anymore. No room left on our property and no money in the pocket. LOL
I'll be OK, just frustrated. It feels like all week is Saturday. Trying to get done all the little things I never had time for before. worried about money but my daughter just reminded me I will be saving about $200. a month on gas which I didnt think of.
I opened up the chimney swifts the other night, had a few other cams up too....computer completely froze up...had to just turn it off...scares me to do that! But it seems okay...
Hi Jim, How is So Cal doing. Its hot up here! family coming to visit on the way to Disney. I am a stop off point for sleeping so I am changing beds and cleaning. I think they will like your weather better.
MAGPIE---My computer has been doing that lately too!!----One day last week----I couldn't get on for most of the day!!---Just smile & (cuss under your breath)---Can you cuss?---I can't---
Hi Margy, YES, I got to sleep late!!! I've been watching Sloth Bear cam 1A also---that one shows the windows in the background where thhye people walk by. If you didn't check this---double click on cam & it blows up to fill whole screen. Good idea to have cell phone & you could call someone when you're there. Maybe I could do that in Aug. when daughter & I go there.
I just got an email from a co-worker . It was an anouncement of my leaving. You would think after 19 years they would spell my name right. Its almost funny.
Hello all! Reading through the blogs. Glad to see so many of you on! Wanda, sure would like to see your costume shop some day. Norma, I remember something about CB getting in hot water for allegations about not serving blacks down south somewhere, but sure that isn't happening now. People on sloth cam scene are so small don't know whether we could see anyone wave! Gonna check e-mails and other cams...BBL!
OK Sharon Update They (3 of them) has passed the Sloth bears - the clouded leopard and are at the fishing cat. She is headed towards the panda house - Maybe we will see her if Tai sits up!! or we could see her when they are leaving to get the Metro and pass the Sloth bear yard again.
I think Panda cam 2 is our only real hope and only if they shift the cam upward to the window.....
Great Idea, Jo. Let us know if you learn anything. I might get into SEARCH mode & check June blog to find Norma's "hatch" statement---I know it was a while after the lawn got moved. I hope you take all this w/a grain of salt, Norma!!! Just want to jog my feeble memory ;>))))
WANDA: And of course, The Captain, looks like Mr. America!
Just watched MEI roll over again...looks comfortable but I don't think I could loll around on rocks like that unless I had all that fur and "fat" on me...
Sharon WILL check out the Flamingoes too, right ???
FYI: Back in late May there was some sort of story in our local rag, the Martinsburg Journal, about some kind of fund-raiser, and then all kinds of Flamingo things started cropping up in town...I missed the article then, gonna try to find it again...
**I think that CEIL said she already got through JUNE checking for the Comment... May might be the better place to look.
Remember that Norma doesn't have an avatar and that is how you will spot her comments if you scroll through. In this instance I really think my Sycamore tree will be right after her remark and then Tai with Mits' remark when we were kidding Norma! Good Luck.
You know, Mema Jo, and the other one whose computer went down this morning.
If you've been having power problems in the area, you might be experiencing "spikes" or surges in the power delivered to your place. And that would cause your "surge protector" to cut the power to your computer to protect it from damage.
Do you think that might possibly be what happened??
Cereal is a perfectly legal dinner food... actually tho, tonite will be stuffed peppers, with ground beef, tomato, rice and corn in them. All food from the mkt- except the rice. Yummy- daughter hates that meal, so are having it while she is away. But now, I must get to work, have a good afternoon- bet Sharon is having fun at the zoo! Hope they check her bags for pandas before she leaves the premises...
I know you miss them, Jo, but it is so great that you can communicate with them like that. Remember when all you had was air mail.. Jim- I looked at WE, I see what you mean- that water looks refreshing, but not a great angle for eagle viewing. Gotta get bouquets made... and water the gh- later:)
Megan, we love stuffed peppers here. I have never heard of corn in the mixture, but sounds good (sorta southwest). I, sometimes, put Bob Evans Italian sausage, mixed in with the ground beef or Jimmy Dean Original. Ummm!
We use a lot of peppers and they are so expensive in the stores. I planted somewhere, around 24 plants and the stuffing peppers will be ready in a week or so. We have been using the banana peppers for 2 weeks now. They are very mild and can be used in so many different receipes.
Since mits talked about her meatloaf recipe last night I've been thinking about meatloaf. I think I'll head into the kitchen and try to make a loaf. Donna and Bev always did and do make that-I haven't made it in forever. If it turns out good I'll freeze it for company. :) later
You all are making me hungry again. Wanda, I love stuffed peppers, too. One way that my mom and grams and I have always fixed them is to use creamed-style corn, thickened w/ cracker crumbs, seasoned w/ S&P, and then baked; top off w/ a bit of cheese under the broiler! I loved the comment, too, asbout Sharon smuggling out a panda! LOL.
Can't wait for ripe Peppers. I have planted yellow, green and red. Of course, the red ones are green at first, then turn red quickly. The yellow ones are yellow almost from the begining. Aphids love yellow peppers, for some reason, so they require a keen eye.
Here's a tip for Meat Loaf: crush up some Ranch flavored potato chips and use them instead of bread or bread crumbs...had it at a hunting camp once, it was quite nice.
Been worried about those hobby falcon chicks, turns out the Mom is perched on a branch above them out of our sight. They seem to be getting ready for bed now..got their pajama feathers on.
Headed out to Church... Got you all in my prayers..
Well, I had steak last night...tomorrow night having shish-ka-bobs w/ peppers, onion, mushroom and sausage! Don't have to cook for college kid tonight!
Wanda - I planted peppers and tomatoes this year...
Yes, Wanda, just the corn mixture. Bake until the pepper is the way you like it (the corn heats quickly) and then put on the cheese and broil until it is bubbly and browned.
Just a quick report on Glo...She has power back but still no telephone, so no computer.. Her neighbors have allowed her to use their Cable run computer to put a few photos of the damage on her street on to her blog go have a look... lots of trees and foliage down. The shelter where she works does not have even power yet.
Good for you, PAULA (growing peppers). They are so easy to grow and saves a lot of money. We freeze them and use them all winter long. We freeze tomatoes also.
Nasty storm passing by us right now- coming at ya, JO. Hoping it would miss us, but it looks like were gonna get slammed. has a 80% chance of hail- lots of heavy rain-last wind gust here was 27 mph- thunder is getting louder, here comes the rain!!
normabyrd said... Just saw the 2 RED PANDAS that hatched at the KNOXVILLE ZOO!!---Tiny little beauties!---NEWS is their father resides at the NZOO!! COOL!---They have been on all the news programs----
Heaven's no, Wanda...not very many veggies I like...but corn and peppers on the good list! It's just a nice difference, and can be served as a side rather than as the main dish!!
Good evening all. Andrew has let me on his computer for just a minute.
TAI SHAN, MEI XIANG, AND TIAN TIAN ARE THE MOST AWESOME GIANT PANDAS IN THE WORLD.
When we first got there, Tian was in the grotto. Then I saw Tai sleeping on a grate. Went inside to see Mei and she was sleeping on her rocks and the best shot we had was her butt. :) Went back out to see Tai sleeping again. He wasn't there. I called Jo and she helped me find him. Tian had moved out of the grotto also and was up at the building. Went back inside and Mei had changed positions just a little bit. Saw a crowd down towards the end and Tian Tian was eating. Went back up to another crowd and Tai was rolling his little round thing on the floor and then sat down behind the rocks to eat. I had a really hard time leaving there but it was so hot and my feet are killing me. I am so not used to walking that much. Loved riding the metro, so easy to get around that way.
Got to give my boy back his computer. They are wanting to find somewhere to eat! Going to Arlington, the Mall and maybe a museum tomorrow morning and then to the Basilica at 6 tomorrow evening. Will check back in later.
Sharon, so glad you got to spend time with your pandas!! Fairly decent weather day for you....not TOO hot or TOO humid, and at least the rain held off. But it is a lot of walking! Downtown you can rent a Segway! Have you ever been to the shrine before?? It is one of the most beautiful churches! Don't think you are allowed to take pictures, tho', on the inside. That's part of my old stompin' ground!
LORETTA, YOU ARE THE WINNER! You get to use my cane for 1 week. LUCKY YOU! Thank you so much for taking the time to research this mystery. It all comes back now. You are absolutely right. I'm sure the others will recall that now. I ROFLMBO as did others, I am sure. Norma is such a sweetheart!
Lynn, talking about an open-air bus, reminds me of an incident while we were taking Dustin to the hospital in Charlottesville, we approached an underpass, and suddenly bells, whistles and lights flashed off and on and a siren went off. We were too high to go under it and that was a wake-up call WARNING! Scared me to death. Have never seen anything like that before. It is a good thing though...we might still be stuck under that bridge. LOL
I just talked to my CA sister. She got rear-ended on the freeway (I think the 22, Jim, heading to the 57). There was an accident and the man behind her was looking at it instead of ahead of him. She said she could see him coming, but had nowhere to go. When I asked her how bad her car was, she said she didn't know. Me: You didn't look!!! She: Not on a 5 lane freeway. (Duh, I always forget that big city life.) She could drive it and didn't get hurt, so all is better than it could have been. Luckily they were going slow.
Glad/hope no one got Bad storms..those warnings on TV gcre the daylights outta ya! I'm so glad I found the hatching---was having a terrible brain cramp & would have never guessed red pandas, as we don't talk about them much. See what I can do when I get a day off???!!! Tee Hee Sharon, Thx for NZoo report!! We looked for you on sloth cam. Soak your feet!! ;>))
Wanda, how far in advance of the underpass did it warn you?? Was this on your navigational system?? How far out of your way did you have to go...hopefully just off ramp across to on ramp! Deb, the Segways are fun, I'm sure, but imagine you have to be really coordinated (hand, foot) and well-balanced--physically, that is!!
WHoo Hoo! Thanks Naturenut You're a real Sleuth! You best send Norma an email so we don't confuse her any more about "Hatching". lol
Megan- We were sitting in Mass and the heavens opened up with a mighty flash & roar...... Had to run to the car - sure didn't give any clue of a storm brewing when we went in the church at 5:00. I am assuming that our eagles haven't been around.
I didn't realize what a rear end impact will do whether you're going slow or not - At least not until the next morning when the muscles tightened and oh the aches & pain of "whiplash".
I imagine she will be sore tomorrow, Jo. The policeman told her that the back end was bad, but drive-able. The other guys radiator was sitting on the freeway, so the impact must have been pretty strong. She was ready for the crash, so that might help some.
Lynn, I don't think I would want to use the Segway on a crowded sidewalk. Nice wide open spaces so you don't crash into anyone or anything!
Good for you Sharon - Sounds like you had a fantastic day at the zoo. Also sounds like you have good plans for tomorrow. You may want to take your rain bonnet just in case.
Here's hoping that Jon's rehearsal went well - I am sure the boys were in awe once inside the cathedral.
Must be crash day. I just found out my SIL totaled her van last Saturday...she tboned another car...both drivers are OK - unbelievable for 60 MPH... a lady tried to cross the highway right in front of her and she had nowhere to go. A lot of roads around here have at grade intersections...dangerous! Glad the kids weren't with her.
Amazing how sore you can get from one of those crashes...SIL has big bruises from seat belts...airbags deployed etc, shoulder is sore..they kept her overnight for observation.
I wonder if her air bags deployed? When we got rear ended we were at a dead stop for a school bus...The approaching van was coming at us fast. But because hubby had his foot on the brake - air bags didn't do anything. All I know is that it knocked my glasses off of my face
Not sure if it's best to know it's coming at you or not... Your muscles sure tighten up when you see it coming - Such a helpless feeling when someone is in front of you and there is No Where To Run!
Going to be anxious to know who first sights Frodo or Frieda down under. They should be coming in to the ledge within a week or so. It is almost AUG already!
Paula, glad your SIL didn't get seriously injured, too. When my youngest totaled my car about 13 yrs. ago, her injuries were mostly from the seatbelts...bad contusions on her abdomen and chest and shoulder. But the alternative would have been worse. Kabobs sounds delicious! Storm getting close..just had a big tree fall across the driveway..too dark to see HOW big, but don't think I can drive over it...Son-in-law will have a job tomorrow, whether he wants to or not! Wind wasn't even blowing yet. Think it belongs to the lot next door where they're building a new house...I don't even know who they are to call them if it's theirs, and don't want to be "trapped" in until Monday! So it will be MY firewood!! TaTa for now! Shutting down.
Deb - an at grade intersection is one where you have to cross the highway or enter the highway at grade level - not from an overpass or ramp. When you want to cross, you have to cross 2 lanes to get to the median, then 2 more lanes to get to the other side.
Lynn, the alarm came from the bridge (unerpass) not the Motor Home. We were about 50ft. away when the alarms sounded, lights on the bridge were very bright. It sounded and looked like what you see in the movies when there is a prison break. We were directed to go that way by a police officer, so we didn't give it a second thought. We had to backtrack for a long distance before we finally got to the hospital.
Buddy update on the Norfolk page: This report was filed by Dr. Natalie Hall:
A quick update. Last night [Friday] the rehab staff was able to hand-feed solid food to the Norfolk eaglet, which is a great improvement. This morning we will be checking to ensure he did not regurgitate any of it. If not, we can continue hand-feeding him solid food.
That sound yummy, Paula. Gene will have to try that. I can't get the hang of grilling, mainly because he won't let me. I guess he's afraid I will burn myself and the food. LOL
I just spoke with Danny's handler who said that Dan is doing just fine with no sign of coughing. Although he was pretty docile when first captured, he has now become very active and aggressive, which is a good thing. This afternoon he will be transferred to a larger cage, still by himself, and then eventually to a larger area with a couple of other eagles as it gets closer to his release time.
Oh, by the way, do you ever put the little patio tomatoes on the skewers? I could eat a whole plate of those. And grill zucchini that has been marinated in Italian dressing. HUNGER IS SETTING IN.

The WE camera, which was knocked way off-center yesterday, has been "readjusted" by the eaglets so that you can see the whole nest again.

HELEN----HELEN!---That was over 20 years ago!!!----
Good Morning AML..
LOL
I see a few little people walking around in the background at
Sloth 1a and some birds...
Jim - I agree that there is always some good that comes out of our trials and tribulations!
Anne-Marie, maybe we can send BUDDY, the hound out to look for him.
MAGPIE----PANDA #1 is usually MEI------#2 is usually TAI!!!!
Anne - that cookbook you sent through email is awesome! Thanks
I remember when Jim retired. I just wasnt ready for it right now. I had planned for it this winter. Oh well. God and I have different time tables.
I guess one of those "little people" at Sloth 1a could be Sharon...
Loch Garten cameras are down, no Nethy and Deshar today!
Haven't seen a parent at Hobby's for a bit...might have missed them while cam-jumping..
If Tai would just get up off his Grate and maybe sit up there & eat some bamboo - then the cam could capture the visitors looking at him.
Blog ate one of my comments.
Good morning to you recent arrivals..
Anne-Marie, Magpie, Mema Jo.

Jim
I get so many wonderful and silly emails and I love them.Sometimes there is a keeper,
Hi Jim, How is So Cal doing. Its hot up here! family coming to visit on the way to Disney. I am a stop off point for sleeping so I am changing beds and cleaning. I think they will like your weather better.
WHoo HOo Wanda - just saw Thelma's
facial. You did good on that one!
I suppose one of those Little People at Sloth 1a could be Sharon..
Loch Garten camera down, no Nethy and Deshar today
Hobby chicks, no parent around for awhile. Maybe I missed her while cam-hopping..
Cape Henlopen Delaware Osprey Nest is empty!
Thanks, Loretta, just did that, will be watching.
I should not even have MENTIONED anything about computer freezes, cause now it is happening...
I see I repeated myself...thought I had lost my comment about Nethy and Deshar etc...did it again and saw the first one.....???
G'Morning and G'afternoon everyone...
Thanks for Tai and Mei info Norma...helps a lot. CAN I CUSS? IS THAT A RHETORICAL QUESTION ??
Gotta move away from this machine for a few.... XO
Margy, Norma gets Mits to cuss for her. LOL
Just watched MEI roll over....
MITS has already signed off I think and maybe is headed out to the
M&M's for the weekend. So just hold your tongue. lol
Loretta - Funny you should say that.
I had my phone in hand and was about to dial up Sharon on her cell.
BBL
Oh...must have been something going around...I didn't sleep worth beans last night and that is highly unusual!
OK Sharon Update
They (3 of them) has passed the Sloth bears - the clouded leopard and are at the fishing cat. She is headed towards the panda house - Maybe we will see her if Tai sits up!! or we could see her when they are leaving to get the Metro and pass the Sloth bear yard again.
I think Panda cam 2 is our only real hope and only if they shift the cam upward to the window.....
Hedgie - I caught the same thing.
Miserable sleeping last night...
And that is unusual for me...
Hope it was only a one nighter!
Thanks for the Sharon Updates, MEMA
WANDA: Those Dinner Pics and Denise at her house are fabulous!
You, Your Mom, and Denise look like Beauty Queens in the Dinner Photos....
xo
Jo, thx for update.
WANDA: And of course, The Captain, looks like Mr. America!
Just watched MEI roll over again...looks comfortable but I don't think I could loll around on rocks like that unless I had all that fur and "fat" on me...
Sharon WILL check out the Flamingoes too, right ???
Is there anyone around here on this blog that can cuss!!!!! My computer went down again.......for NO GOOD
REASON.........
Anyway - I'm back for awhile!
Good Luck.
Panda Cam 2 has panda outside - I don't know if it is Tai or his dad Tian Tian
COSTUME LADY:
Thelma's Facial is Awesome!
MITA - I like yours too, and all the rest! Hope Anne-Marie finds that man! He looks like a KEEPER...
TUBBY TIME
TTFN xoxo
LOL Wanda...love Tbirds facial
Here you go, Jo!
*#^!!($%#
UPDATE SHARON
Just called me to try and track down Tai on cam as to what yard he was in.
SHE FOUND HIM!
Now she is in Pandamania!
He is on Cam 2
Tai's keeper just threw him a treat..
THANKS PAULA! I needed that.
I can help too- @#*#@)*!^%###$$%^!!
C(°ﮡ°)D
Jim
You home from Market already.
You must have sold out early!
Did your hubby appreciate your weed wacking that you did yesterday?
Yes, Jim that is what I was thinking.
It doesn't happen too often.
BBL
Getting a web cam call from Germany
Sat. mkt. ends at noon- hubby didn't appreciate my plant control-can't please everyone..lol..
good afternoon all-sharon has seen Tain :) she said he was "so big"-this was about 30 min ago
Tai having a nice treat on Panda Cam II - I guess that it is Tai - Oh Boy - Roughage....!
Mei still sacked out..I don't think I could sleep upside down like that~ --
Have YET to see a parent at the Hobby Falcon cam, and those chicks seem quite restless...I get like that when I am hungry too!
Hope you can relax a little MEGAN before working on tomorrow's bouquets.
You haven't missed any EAGLE action at OUR nest today, Floralgirl...
We are all still waiting...
Well, if relaxing is wolfing down a sandwich while I get something ready for dinner... then yes, I'm relaxing.
Wow, what happened at WE now? The camera had corrected so that you could see most of the nest.
But now you are looking at the blue Pacific swell ... in close-up.
Take a peek.
C(°ﮡ°)D
Jim
Yah - MEGAN - Busy people learn to inhale their food....
Take Care....why not have cold cereal for dinner?
Or would that cause a small riot...?
Ha Ha just kidding....(sure would be easy though wouldn't it?)
xo
TTFN - Got to get some things done.
Good Rest of Day to All. ME? I am hoping for some water balloon action later !
xo again
One more thing:
MEMA: (I called you META awhile ago..)
GOOD THING YOUR COMPUTER SHUT DOWN BEFORE YOUR WEB CAM VISIT WITH THE FOLKS OVERSEAS!
Then we would have ALL been hearing some cussin'...
I guess it is Panda Nap Time at the zoo.
Just completed call from gals in Germany. Bed time for them.....
Really do miss them...
Wanda-I love Buddy the Wonder Dog.
looks like nap time may be over jo
I saw that Margie but believe me there was no insult taken..... lol
Please stuff a Pepper for me.
Man you have stuffed peppers and Mits is having Pepper steak!
I am getting hungry again......
Guess that is because I forgot to eat lunch!!! Good reason!
just teasing us with the nap-just not napping upside down
That's Megan that's stuffing the peppers, the only thing I STUFF is my mouth!
I love MEGGIE's comment about checking Sharon's bag for Pandas before she leaves! A riot!
Time to get ready for church. I think, we might be fixing to get some squirrelly weather! Watch those computers !!
TTFN. Holler LOUD if you see any Eagles OUR NEST ! xoxo
:) later
I think on Panda Cam 1 it is Mei
in the birthing den with bamboo
What did she have in her mouth just now?
My 'puter is really acting up, I think Jim may be thinking on the right track.
Need to leave for a few.....
BBL
Lynn, are you saying that you put creamed corn in your stuffed peppers?
Here's a tip for Meat Loaf: crush up some Ranch flavored potato chips and use them instead of bread or bread crumbs...had it at a hunting camp once, it was quite nice.
Been worried about those hobby falcon chicks, turns out the Mom is perched on a branch above them out of our sight. They seem to be getting ready for bed now..got their pajama feathers on.
Headed out to Church...
Got you all in my prayers..
Keep an Eye on OUR Nest for me!
Take care all, safe afternoons and evenings.
xo
I use fresh corn, right off the cob..shhh..I wasn't here..
Well, I had steak last night...tomorrow night having shish-ka-bobs w/ peppers, onion, mushroom and sausage! Don't have to cook for college kid tonight!
Wanda - I planted peppers and tomatoes this year...
My RP is down... boo hoo!`
WE cam still has the pretty ocean view! Naughty girls!
Yes, Wanda, just the corn mixture. Bake until the pepper is the way you like it (the corn heats quickly) and then put on the cheese and broil until it is bubbly and browned.
Just peeking in before getting ready to go to church...
I see that Peppers are still the hot topic! lol
BBL
Just a quick report on Glo...She has power back but still no telephone, so no computer.. Her neighbors have allowed her to use their Cable run computer to put a few photos of the damage on her street on to her blog go have a look... lots of trees and foliage down. The shelter where she works does not have even power yet.
Prayers for all today and everyday!
Lynn, are you a vegetarian? WHERE'S THE BEEF?
Good for you, PAULA (growing peppers). They are so easy to grow and saves a lot of money. We freeze them and use them all winter long. We freeze tomatoes also.
Nasty storm passing by us right now- coming at ya, JO. Hoping it would miss us, but it looks like were gonna get slammed. has a 80% chance of hail- lots of heavy rain-last wind gust here was 27 mph- thunder is getting louder, here comes the rain!!
I FOUND THE MYSTERY HATCHING......
normabyrd said...
Just saw the 2 RED PANDAS that hatched at the KNOXVILLE ZOO!!---Tiny little beauties!---NEWS is their father resides at the NZOO!!
COOL!---They have been on all the news programs----
Sunday, June 22, 2008 7:26:00 PM
Heaven's no, Wanda...not very many veggies I like...but corn and peppers on the good list! It's just a nice difference, and can be served as a side rather than as the main dish!!
Way to go, Loretta!!! Now Jo and CEil can relax and stop looking for it!
Hey, and it was a panda that hatched. Your memory is not so bad after all, Wanda!
Had a little thunder and some sprinkles here, but that way before Floral posted...
Metro is fun, and fairly easy. Just don't take a double-decker open-air bus!!!
Now I have to find out what a Segway is!
Glad/hope no one got Bad storms..those warnings on TV gcre the daylights outta ya!
I'm so glad I found the hatching---was having a terrible brain cramp & would have never guessed red pandas, as we don't talk about them much. See what I can do when I get a day off???!!! Tee Hee
Sharon, Thx for NZoo report!! We looked for you on sloth cam. Soak your feet!! ;>))
Segway is that newfangled scooter---2 big wheels, tall handlebar, & you stand in middle & it somehow rolls you along!!
Thanks, Loretta, I googled it. They look like they might be kind of fun.
Deb, good that your sis didn't get hurt!
Need to read Sharon's report!!
I didn't realize what a rear end impact will do whether you're going slow or not - At least not until the next morning when the muscles tightened and oh the aches & pain of
"whiplash".
Finally back...ended up doing my ka-bobs tonight...yummy!
No airbags in her car went off. Lucky, they hurt and are very expensive to replace.
What is an at grade intersection? Weird all the terms in different parts of the country.
There are deer and lots of raccoons in the PA woods this evening!
I wonder where our lame legged buck ever went?
Ocean view at WE is a beautiful cool blue!
Oh No, Hedgie...hope your SIL can saw you free!
Thanks, Paula, didn't know they had a special name.
Ton of raccons there JO. Aren't they cute.
Osprey at Finny on the water.
Paula, what kind of sausage did you use in your shishkabobs?
JO, your second FACIAL has been posted.
Going to go to some of the other forums and see if anything interesting to report....

Before I leave for awhile -
WHoo Hoo! Wanda
You got my 3:00 half cup coffee
Maybe I am at the Loo
LOL
Never thought to look there...I remember now, you disappeared one day for 4 hours after excusing yourself to go to the loo.
Wanda - Tonight I used Bob Evans hot italian sausage and hot bratworst. You can also use keilbasa.
Oh, and I let everything marinate in italian dressing before putting it on the skewers.
Cute facial for Jo!
Buddy update on the Norfolk page:
This report was filed by Dr.
LOL
Oh, info on Delta Dan...
Update from O.W.L. re: Delta Dan:
I just spoke with Danny's handler who said that Dan is doing just fine with no sign of coughing. Although he was pretty docile when first captured, he has now become very active and aggressive, which is a good thing. This afternoon he will be transferred to a larger cage, still by himself, and then eventually to a larger area with a couple of other eagles as it gets closer to his release time.
Posted by karenb on Hancock forum
Oh, by the way, do you ever put the little patio tomatoes on the skewers? I could eat a whole plate of those. And grill zucchini that has been marinated in Italian dressing. HUNGER IS SETTING IN.
Jim, we appreciate your updates. Glad the eagle babe is OK.
Good news today for Dan and Buddy, so nice to hear.
