Norma, Joey was born after the MD-WVU game 21 years ago. Dr. had delivered 6 babies that day, came in to my room and said "I am exhausted and I want to watch the game, so you can't have that one til after" Of course, he was kidding but Joey didn't know that. He waited until 20 minutes after WVU beat MD then showed up. Dr. was a MD fan. Up until about 3 years ago the game was always on the weekend of his birthday. Then they added teams and changed the schedule.

Lots going on with TGIF! I love being retired but miss that feeling of freedom I used to get around 4:00 Friday afternoons. If I close my eyes I can picture it well enough not to go backwards in my life!

Mits, you should watch it, it's absolutely amazing. It's on Friday nights, Animal Planet, at 8. The first half hour is the show from last week, and from 8 to 8:30 is a new show. It's on again sometime Sat afternoon, think 3, but wouldn't swear to that. I usually go in and set reminders for the Sat show also, just in case I fall asleep on Friday nights...been known to happen!

Norma, Joey birthday present on several occasions has been going to the game. Both at MD and WVU. Only bad part about his birth was he was due on Sept. 21. So he shows up at 11:40 on the 20th. Took me years to say the right day. LOL

Well Zachary was a little stubborn. They were going to induce labor on November 1 because he was late. So at 11:15 on October 31 he showed up. Yes folks there was a full moon. Still deciding if he is a trick or a treat. LOL. And the entire anesthesiology staff at Winchester was busy because there was a very bad accident. That part was definitely not a treat. LOL

Anne Marie, was taking pictures and thought of you. One thing you need to learn to do is set the camera to take multiple shots. It is great for taking action shots.
I was watching the boardwalk in Halifax - Novia Scotia.. My aunt and uncle are touring Nova Scotia and it would be a blast to see them on a cam! I think I would lose it!
I am just anxious to see if they went to Peggy's cove on a foggy day!

Tai, this morning, was in a search mode! He was touring all over the place - even climbed up into the cage above his door and was sitting there.
I watched the Fishing Cat video the other day! It was interesting to say the least to see those cats dive into the water and catch their fish.
They are talking up a storm- I really think it is Tai talking to Mei! Like "I miss you mom"
JO---Isn't that TAI "peering" out the window----I can tell TAI from his behind---His is white or whiter than the other two!!!----He is getting big---This a.m.--he weighs 153 lbs.----
He is getting big, but he has really been maintaing that exact weight for the last several weeks, like people pandas slow down there eating during the summer.He is in one of the older yards, and Mom and Dad are inside. Those fishing cats are amazing. DON'T FORGET TO SEND YOUR E-MAILS TO THE MAYOR OF SHEPERDSTOWN!

Tai's hind end is the only way I can seem to distinguish him from his mom & dad. Or if he is the one up in a tree! I hate to say it but weightwise, Tai weighs just as much as Mema! ho ho! I need to drop 20 and will hopefully do so after this prednisome treatment!

I went out on the deck after dinner -
came back in and opened all the windows and doors and let that beautiful breeze flow through the house. Temps have dropped and it really feels good out of the AC for awhile! The entire weekend looks like fair weather for all picnics!!

The last few days there has been a very friendly reporter and film crew documenting and recording her day, along with some of our thoughts on the past year. Just got a call from Ryan and his family visiting at Ft Stewart. They are all in the van & headed to the Raven/Falcon game! Ryan and Quinn are very excited.....Glad they got the tickets! How cool is it to be from Baltimore and in Atlanta at the right time! lol
That is too cool. Hubby is going to be in Cinn on Sept 10th, and has been invited to go to the Raven-Bengal opening game on Monday Night Football.
I guess the traffic into OC is horrendous this evening. Heard there was an fatal accident earlier on Rt 404 - that is what we use to get into DE.

ASnne - atleast try to figure out how to take a picture and video before you go...and bring all the books for it with you...makes for good reading in the airport! Try to use it a little before you go on your trip.
Not eligible for Pell. They say I make too much money for any of the grants...we are into loans...

The only thing you must learn is how to turn it on and how to switch from single shot to multiple shots. The rest will take care of itself. Trust me. I am still trying to figure mine out but those seem to be the two most important things to me.
I recall you saying that...great resource...use it for sure...wish I had looked at mine better b4 I went on CA trip...
It took me just as long to pay back the loans as it did to get through school. I did it the long way too but it was worth it.

I kinda crashed this evening and would never have waken up to do this blog thing, except that Disney Land, which is a few miles north of here had a largish fireworks display around 10:30 tonight...pretty loud tonight.

Greg has answered some more questions in Frodoville, and Frieda is sleeping in the afternoon sun atop her eggs.
I think I will look at some archived photos of Frieda from 3-4 years ago...can't tell if she's the same lady as then. She's the same Frieda as last year, I'm sure of that.
