GOOD MORNING EVERYONE AND THANK YOU, STEVEN AND NCTC The cams are also up and running in Maine and Florida, just saw both eagles there a little while ago. I know they have been trying to work on KENT, but sure it might take some time there.

What a glorious Monday Morning it is! Thank you Steve - your the best! Lisa at BW said about the new grass being added to their nest - Well would you look at OUR nest!

Took a minute to look at Buta Buta & WOW! has she ever grown. With the mat they put under the hay giving her more traction on those little back legs - she's going to be up & out exploring any day now.

I saw that the other day, Suzanne & really wondered what it was at first. Sure would be easier carrying in your beak then a beak full of grass. I would love to see them fly in with the grass for the nest.

I'm going over to see early morning comments & check out Fl & ME nests.

update: The guys tell me that the battery we have on the cam is not holding a charge, and that has been a root of our problems. When it gets dark, the battery dies. So, I'm ordering another battery (it's a big one). Until we get it (hopefully we'll get it fast), I anticipate some additional problems.

Suzanne I brought Sandra with me to the luncheon & as I was driving I said to Sandra - Is that where I turn & she said I think so. The small sign was NOT there & the first words out of my mouth as I was turning into the Lowe Lane to the Clarion were
Suzanne is never going to find us I mentioned it to the wait staff as soon as I got there but when we left there still wasn't a sign in place. Dana & Ed remembered the Lowe Lane & found us.

Steve I know you'll get the biggest battery you can find!

Great tune, Mits! Maybe our singing will get it here faster just so they can stop hearing us sing!!! lol

Good idea, Jo...:):):) That singing will drive them bonkers!!!

The size of our eagles nest is so much larger. You can't really tell it from the cams. Liberty and Belle have worked their butts off getting ready for this season.

They could right now Belle sitting high straight up looking down over the nest. Liberty out on a limb if you've been to the nest looking at it from the curve in the road. Liberty sits on a limb to the left.

So looking at the cam say the branch out of nest at the 11 o'clock up is where Liberty sits. Then looking at the cam the branch at the 7 o'clock position way way high up is where Belle was sitting.

I would love to spend my day on the blog and watching the cams BUT
I must get my home ready for the Christmas Eve family gathering! I'm not even sure what is going to be on the table for them as of yet!
I'll be checking in & out & let you know I'm making some headway! (that is not what a lurker does!)
