2/11/25. PM. ER Scout does night Duty

12 PM12 PM scout is on Eggbert

12:13 PM he heads to the lop 12:17 PM. He must have needed a break Or a wing stretch back down on Eggbert. He is a good dad. I love.

 How he always messes with the Sticks around him anxious daddy. 1220 egg roll wiggle wiggle down, we go.

12:32 PM he exits the nest toward the road. 12:34 PM needed a wingstretch again he's back.

1:18 PM he existed last after looking around for a bit. Maybe he saw her flying. Flurries started a little bit ago every now and then you can see snow. 1:19 PM she returns to the nest. He must have been right and saw her.

126 he comes to the nest With a load of bedding, which she immediately takes and tucks around,her 128 to the lop. 132 he exits from the lop. bella eggroll ER 142ER.

213 snow is just now starting to accumulate on her back little specs at a time. Its supposed to get worse to the day 218 ER 256 stills flurries. Snow is still on her back. Not bad, see a little dusty in the nest. You can still see the brown on the ground. 3:44 PM. Bella gets up to have a egg roll.The snow has accumulated on her back.It slides down the back as she gets up.She is careful not to let it go in cuo and back down on Egbert. 3:32 PM exit from the lop. 3:44 PM. I love the way she digs her beak down into the bedding to pull herself deeper into the cup on Egbert. She's got such a warm belly with her brood patch.I tried doing every ten minute pictures until she did the 🥚 roll This way , you can see how fast it's

520 pm Scout is home he is perched nest side in the tree.

Bella issued a greeting call, and Scout vocalized in response.

528. Scout is on the LOP. Bella is still incubating. No switch. Vocal 529andagain 

5:31pm. Bella shakes off the snow and does a little adjusting to the egg and nesting. Scout perched on LOP.

532 pm Bella is up checking on the egg. Scout is now perched on top of the LOP. Perhaps a switch coming up not sure.5:34pm. No switch (yet). Bella settles back

534 pm Bella has resumed incubation. 

.542 brief switch. Bella left and Scout followed soon I always think he's escorting her out because he comes right back. after

Sounded like there may have been a mating off nest.Scout is back at 545 in. He is pulling pieces of bedding and out and setting it on the edge. Cup looks so deep when he's there. You can see the dark spot in his head even in the infrared camera. When he is in the nest at 601 she still has not returned.

 gets up it doesn't shake does a egg roll wiggle wiggle back down everyone's saying that they're praised for him to do this I just hope there's nothing wrong with Bella keep your fingers crossed she returns in the morning they did have mating or an argument before he came back LOL unless it was just an argument

And all the years me watching this nice Bell has never relinquished her nightly duties not unless she's trying to teach him more that could be maybe a bond that's with them

Bella returns to the nest to take over her duties he was not very happy she is the only one that made all the noises not her vocal telling her what why did you leave me on the nest for 5 hours
