Good morning Margy. Mom's hearing is a little better. She's still scary weak. That's weaker than very weak. =) Thanks for asking.

JudyEddy said...

I tried one more time the IE and the cam page but a no go still so its Google Chrome for it

JudyEddy said...

SANDI did they figure out why all a sudden she couldn't hear?????

Sandi said...

Margy today is my first time since last spring watching the live cam from the kindle. It may be something in the settings that I have to fix. Sound is fine on my laptop.

Sandi said...

Judy her ear infection caused inflammation in a nerve in her ear. Drugs are reducing the swelling in the nerve. Her lungs are clearing fine from the pneumonia. She just needs to get her strength back which takes so long at her age.

Sandi said...

I just heard crows near the nest so I have sound just very small speakers on the kindle.

magpie said...

Okay and 10-4 on all that, Sandi...
Prayers aplenty for your Mom to heal and recover....and find some joyful things in the meanwhile

stronghunter said...

Good morning!

Prayers, Sandi.

JudyE
The FWS site goes "down" sometimes for maintenance out in Denver and it affects how we can bring up the cam page and the still cam...
I always have to come back in through the links on the Momsters page because I am not smart enough and/or haven't taken the time to do it another way....

magpie said...

Knee Prayers for you, Shirley!
Take it easy and baby that knee and yourself today!

I'd give you some BioFreeze if I could get it to you....that's a comforting gel that I use

magpie said...

Blackwater sites still not up and running...it is about Egg Laying there pretty soon, they are always ahead of NCTC...
but they seem to be getting closer to the solution

Hope they can get it running soon!

And Here Comes the Sun ☼ at the Nest

Sandi said...

Love the Color at the nest when the morning sun hits it! I think about Glo watching all those eagles at the dam early in the morning! Would really make my heart happy to see something like that.

Linda said...

Good Morning!

I probably missed you early birds!

LOLLY - Vent away!! That is is one of the many things we are good for here! I am like you. My Dennis does so much that I am spoiled. He has taken over many of my chores here at the house and things like vacuuming, garbage, and cleaning the litter box are things he always does without a word from me. We're blessed. My first husband was NOTHING like that!! He was more like Joey. HE would eventually get things done, but always on his time schedule and at his convenience. It drove me mad!!

Linda said...

MARGY - Nicole did mention on her Friday night post on Caring Bridge that they would be going home by Angel Flight!!

As of last night's post, Nicole said they were expected to be landing in WV at around 3pm!! The strong winds today delayed their flight a little!!

What a happy homecoming that will be!

Linda said...

SHIRLEY - Hope you have a better day with your knee!

MARGY - Have a nice day off today! Sounds like you are off to an early start!

JO - Praying for some good news about Christine today!

LORI - How is your Dad???

SANDI - Praying your Mom gains her strength back quickly. Scary weak is NOT good.

DANA - How is your Dad doing?

Have a great day!!

Off to church now. Will say prayers for all....

T-Bird said...

Good morning my friends.

glo said...

Good morning all. Lots of prayers and some special praises today too. Except for a quick trip to the grocery, today will mostly be an inside job :-) and tomorrow even colder. Coldest air here in 4 years, but next weekend warm again crazy crazy weather.

T-Bird said...

Happy game day Sunday morning. I can't wait for the Superbowl.
I am officially rooting for the Ravens-it was a hard decision to make. I like and respect the Patriots but I have too many friends, i.e. MEMA JO, who love the Ravens.

Janet said...

good morning all.

MAGPIE: ya know, sometimes, even though i love being busy, sometimes, i do wonder if i am missing "it". missing out on something less busy people "get" that i don't.

i own the ACTIVE ISOLATED STRETCHING book by Mattes. that is the book we used in massage therapy school. i reference it from time to time.

stretching/yoga are so wonderful. i wish i could convince more people of the benefits of both/each. i wish i could convince more people to actively take part in their own wellness.....so many pills/surgeries/etc could be avoided if we would just realize how much healing power we each own.

granted, there are definitely things we need a doc. for. absolutely! but we ourselves are responsible for our own wellness and well being.

i am reading a fascinating book right now; EASTERN BODY;WESTERN MIND byJudith Adodea.

HODA: sky diving on your 70th sounds delightful! i have done indoor sky diving, and that was enough for me. i used to think i wanted to do this, but my ideas have tamed down some on this one. next year for my 50th, i want to get a final tatoo...i own two, a fairy on my right thigh and Mother Isis across my back and hips. i have a dear friend whose husband is a tatoo artist. we will come up with the perfect one for my left deltoid. :)

Nice quiet day here in Nashville. Sunny and 47 right now. I have a business meeting on Tuesday to prepare for.....the house work is done. and of course, today is bowling day. :) we are up to 12th place (out of 14) for the last couple of weeks. i don't anticipate it will last too much longer as we prepare to bowl the higher ranking teams.

well this post is getting long. let me scat. will check in later, gaters!

Mema Jo said...

Morning - cold out there but sunny. I had about 6 squirrels here for a peanut party earlier. One little squirrel has lost his tail....when he moves he hops like a bunny! Squirrels are selfish little ones and can really fight for the food.
No word yet from NC - well i JUST GOT WORD FROM CHRISTINE'S MOM --
Spoke with Christine. No surgery today either. Bloodwork not where it should be. She is trying to get some sleep - in a lot of pain.
Prayers for my gal - thanks!

paula eagleholic said...

JudyE, my live feed won't come up in IE either this morning...got it up in firefox...the sound is terrible there...

paula eagleholic said...

Just tried IE again...got the live feed up. Sound is very choppy with the wind and stupid circling arrow.

Lolly said...

Good morning! Prayers for sure for your Christine, Jo. This is just not fair for that family. And do not like to hear she is in so much pain.

Ready for church and will be leaving soon. Just having a last minute sit down time with my coffee.

I am beginning to think I will never see our eagles. They are never here when I am. I have sound but it is in and out and different times than from cirle thingy.

Lolly said...

Lots of cedar waxwings in our yard this morning. Annie is sitting at the door watching them and talking. They love the pond.

paula eagleholic said...

LOlly, Laurel is going to have to be the one to get on Joey's A$$ !! What you say to him about those things goes in one ear and out the other.

Jo, sorry they keep delaying the surgery. Hoping for Christine's pain to go away soon.

paula eagleholic said...

I didn't get home and to bed until 2 this morning...had fun with the grandkids last night. Slept till 11 this morning!

Sandi said...

Saw the photos of Isaac's "family reunion" at the airport. Thanks Linda for posting the news. Anxiously awaiting the Ravens kickoff in 2 hours. Had totally forgotten what Baltimore is like on a Ravens game day. Made the mistake of going to the grocery store for Mom in a Bethany Beach sweatshirt and felt SO out of place amidst all the purple!!!

MT nest right now.

magpie said...

Hurray, for Isaac and all his adoring family and friends

Thanks, Linda for all the updates through the afternoon, and for confirming,

Linda said...

Dannon Light & Fit is what I usually like. I get the Blueberry!

Healing is going much better and the infection looks to be gone.

Once the antibiotic kicked in, the wound stopped oozing and the swelling went down and the redness went away. Took a couple days, but it is soooo much better!!

Thanks for asking!

Linda said...

I still get these real sharp quick
pains every now and then. I chalk it up to healing pains!!

Linda said...

Ok, I'm really going now...

BBL

magpie said...

Well Yay and Double Yay on that!

magpie said...

I've been eating Dannon for 45 years...it was the first yogurt to hit the shelves around here.
I can also make my own ☺ and might do that again soon.
I'm counting sugars now these days and the fruited yogurts have too much, sometimes I half and half it with plain.

Way to go San Fran. Now get 'eer done Baltimore. If the Ravens win, it will be 2 brothers (head coaches) against each other in the Super Bowl. Wouldn't that be something.

Hoda said...

Beautiful day here again today spent it outside. In the park walking and talking and taking in the sun, ran errands and went to another park and it is stunning how beautiful it really is.

JO President HW Bush was 80 when he jumped out of a plane! I thought that was pretty awesome. I do not know why the idea kept repeating itself in my head yesterday. It is not the excitement that I am looking for...there is something else going on and I will see what happens health wise by the time I am 70 years old.

I agree with you JANET in terms of health and staying healthy as we age. Well posted earlier today.

LOLLY I complain away and I think JACK is right there is nothing you two can do about Joey. LAUREL will have to be the one to put her foot down and that might take years yet. So much happening in thier lives already...

Lynne2 said...

evening all!

Busy day....

we drove down to Manchester, near my work, to look for "for rent" signs. But no luck after 2 hours of driving around.

Then, we stopped in to say hello to....SKYNYRD!!!! It's the first time there has been time to go and visit. He looks wonderful, although I don't really think he remembered us. He plays with the new owners dogs! He was relaxed, outside in the sun, acres and acres to run but he stays very close to the house anyway. He's living in cat paradise!

Then we came home and guess who visited????

The FURNITURE FAIRY!!!! Steve is now hooked up with a recliner...a HUGE recliner, thanks to our very own PAULA! He, Daisy and Puddles all fit!

By the way, I am avidly watching Jupiter and Moonie, thank you so much for alerting us to that !
Ms. Astronomy, that's YOU !

magpie said...

When I moved into this apartment, I was Jonesin' for some cheer on the blank walls....I took out a dozen of my old DNR calendars, picked out different pictures, those were my windows to the world for awhile....
Lynne, until you find another place, I think Lolly's idea is really neat, pretend windows and posters...I can send you some posters and old Calendars !

Also on Tues if Rebecca doesn't decide to be born on her own - they are going to induce labor. Her due date was the 14th. Rebecca is my 11th great grand child.

Tomorrow is my CT - 4 weeks after the radiation treatments - Then on Thurs of this week I will be told what the CT showed. My turn for prayers to accept the report of the results.

Thinking of the Lennox family today, light and love for healing and comfort...

And holding others in my heart and thoughts as well....and thankful for the good things, like Isaac's homecoming yesterday. What pix on facebook!

Yesterday was quite nice, sunny and in the 40's. Tom was doing a few things outside and I was out there just to be out there. I Decided to pull out the dead plants from the garden and found carrots very much alive. They are now in my fridge.

We won a game at bowling again. We are still in 12th place. Only 7 more weeks of bowling to go for this season.

Chilly outside this morning, 29 at my house. Going into the teens tonight.

Livvy is going to the dentist today. She has baby teeth that refuse to leave her head, they are not even loose. The dentist is goign to extract them.

I am going to work. Hopefully I have a busy day.

Linda glad you are doing well with the antibiotics.

Going to watch Madeline in her first ice skating competition today at 11. Then we'll head home.

How about those Ravens!!! There were fireworks and gunshots here last night to celebrate the victory! Nice time to be in
Baltimore! Ordered Madeline and Michael

We worked in the yard yesterday, but today we are heading to Denton. Everyone is out of school today, so we are heading up. Jack is still hanging things on the walls and I will be unpacking boxes and doing laundry. Laurel is cleaning the former abode and Joey is hopefully moving yard swing, freezer, and treadmill as well as a garage full of stuff. We have a plan....let's see who does their part!

Good Morning All! Nice to be back! So great to see the eagles this morning! Can someone please tell me who we have on the nest this year--Belle and Shep?

Trying to figure this out this morning--can't see my posts having a hard time -- trying to catch up has been a very long time.

Thanks so much! Have made a move back to where I grew up--this beautiful Mountain is in Carbondale, Colorado and was what I woke up to every morning as a child.

Looks appropriately wintry on this cold January day.

Magpie--are you still on here? A special good morning to you, my friend! Hope all is well with you and so glad to find you here!!

It is 4 degrees here this morning--but bright and sunny!

A bit warmer here in Virginia, but cold enough for me. Bright and sunny here, too.

Took me a while but found the site and got signed back in --trying to catch up---Yesterday I went for a drive here and saw 2 beautiful bald eagles here near the Colorado River--did some exploring and think I have found their nest. The whole experience brought me back to you and this wonderful site!!

Glad you found your way back, RCR.

ROCKING CIRCLE R said...

Thank you so much! Do you know how I can add pictures for others to see on my profile page?

ROCKING CIRCLE R said...

Just changes my profile picture to the one I took yesterday of the eagles here.

Not anywhere near as great as this site--and certainly not as clear--hope to add more pics of them over the next couple of months.

Christine is being moved up into ICU - blood pressure is high and blood work has not improved. Michael is going down with Mema and Pap Murray... That makes me feel much better ♥
I know you are keeping the prayers going up to the Great Healer
Thank you

I have not been able to add pictures on my blog recently. Our picture expert is probably JudyE.

Prayers, Jo. Your family has certainly had more than its share of health problems recently. Thinking about all of you today. Glad to learn that Michael and Mema and Pap Murray can go to her.
