Hi Judie

You split right on through....
hello on THIS side fo it.....
I'm hoping to backtrack about 300 posts one of these hours..

Janet said...

Good Saturday morning to my Eagle Peeps.

Still in full steam ahead motion:

Busy weekend ahead. I have Reiki Share in just a couple of hours....stuff to do around the house, Tom wants to go to car races tonight and we hope to take the boat out tomorrow....

I could use that down time tomorrow, hope the weather cooperates...

Hoda, sounds like you had quite an adventure. I fully believe everything for a reason and we are where we are supposed to be at any given time. I hope this morning finds you dry and safe!

Everyone else, sending wishes/thoughts for a bright, wonderful, day, happy birthday/anniversary/joy of life to everyone out there.

Its been busy here with the oldest and grandkids staying with us at night. Getting ready for vacation next week.....don't feel like I'll be ready!

Luke is doing better. Took him off the cipro and Tom got him eating again by hand feeding him bologna and hot dogs. :) He is now on a different antibiotic. We shall see what happens.

Bought the bunny a bigger cage. Glutton for punishment I am.

Don't know if Judy told you, but we have an "official offer" on our parents house.....not a good offer, but given the situation, there is a lot of anger and the offer was accepted despite our suggestions not to accept it. I won't speak for Judy, but simply for myself. When all is said and done, IF this all actually goes thru I will just be glad its done. Its not a done deal yet, it is a VA loan and they are extremely picky. So we shall see.

Need to water plants and get ready for this Reiki Share. There may be a person whom I really don't want to deal with showing up.....but everything for a reason and I will try to handle this with grace and courtesy as far as possible.

Have a beautiful day friends. Light, love, and healing thoughts to one and all....

two juvies in the nest

magpie said...

lots of news there Janet, hope Luke continues to perk up
and that your week-end is fun AND restful, sounds like it will be very busy

magpie said...

I didn't see where the juveniles came in from...
cam keeps needing to be restarted here at work
:(

magpie said...

Now one up on the branch at the 9,
nope, I can't tell who is which

magpie said...

four kestrel youn'uns in the box, two must be flying free

magpie said...

well that was a big clue

juvenile flew in from the right side of the nest so it must have taken some kind of a flight

got so exicted I shut the feed down !

Linda said...

Good Morning MARGY!

Nice to see the nest with both of our juvies in it. To start the day knowing they are both doing well is great!

Saw one get up and hop up to the stump and then a few minutes later it took off over the nest to the top right.

Then the second one just hopped up to the stump, took off to the left after a couple minutes and has landed somewhere to the left of the screen. I could tell by the shadow of the landing.

Now to catch up!

Wishing everyone a wonderful day today!

Mema Jo said...

Good Morning everyone! First to do item
was to check the nest very first thing - check! Then I need to read back and make sure Paula arrived safely.
Everyone have a good day

Wonderful day for a wedding...

Linda said...

SHARON - Thinking of you, of Andrew and Kelsey on their very special day today. Enjoy every minute of it! We are with you in spirit!! Love and hugs to you!

Happy to hear PAULA made it to paradise safely last night.

CAROLYN - Keeping you and Charlie in prayer today. I sure wish they could get him WELL for once and for all.

JUVIE just flew into the middle of the nest. Nice soft landing. Looking up!

Linda said...

And down for a little R&R right in the middle of the nest. I think this is Missy.....

Linda said...

Boy they don't stay still for too very long.....

She gets up, walks to the 5 position and looks to be chomping on a little nestovers. You can only see part of her as the tree is in the way.

Linda said...

She flew up to the stump at the 9 position.

Linda said...

MISSY took off from the stump. Flew around and back down into the nest. Seconds later back up on the stump!!

Linda said...

And off she goes again. Saw her complete shadow fly over the nest.

And back in the nest again!!

Too funny!

Lynne2 said...

Good Morning all!

Been watching the antics at the nest!

Also, it looks to me that there is a pip in the TV egg!!

Good morning! Fell asleep in my chair last night. Slept there until Jack woke me up to get ready for bed. LOL I fell asleep before supper too. This is NOT like me. Slept good through the night too. Guess I really needed sleep.

Prayers for Charlie? Prayers for Carolyn. What is causing this?

Thinking of Andrew and Kelsey! God bless this marriage. May they have many many years of happiness.

magpie said...

sudden onset, no real explanation regarding Charlie as far as I know so far, Lolly....

Carolyn will probably check in with one of us in some fashion pretty soon....

magpie said...

did finally get to read the updates on MoJo

and hope the Alexis recital was great, Jo,, and that Michael completes his magical surprise Izzy birthday visit to the Bragg Bunch this week-end....

magpie said...

Good Morning Lolly,
enjoying the Baseball Tales

Lolly said...

Thanks, margie! Really feeling it for Carolyn! She has had so much dumped on her!

Time to get a move on. Want to head outside before it gets too warm.

Have a great Saturday!

Lolly said...

Margy...have a curious question. What size t-shirt do you wear? No, do not have a t-shirt for you, but just maybe someday I might find one for you. LOL

magpie said...

I know Glo asked about the address for Kay's rehab place, and Jo said she would repost so I am going to hold off on that...

hope each day is better for Charlie, Becky, Kay, Delphia....and Melissa, Red....and others

magpie said...

Loly, I usually go for medium because I wear them "out" meaning, not tucked in....

sometimes I go for a large....depends on a few factors

magpie said...

rad with joy about Josh making it to Sandi's school, with his walker and a whole lot of encouragement and Hope

Good luck on the Bathroom, Sandi...I see that Today is THE day

Lolly said...

Thank you, Margy! Now, I know you are curious! Love you!

Judie said...

Well, looks as if I deleted my post twice as the blogger cop kept telling me I am unauthorized...trying again.

HAPPY WEDDING DAY FOR ANDREW AND KELSEY. May the sun always shine as brightly on you both as it is today.

magpie said...

"read" with Joy...

and while I'm at it: Congrats to Hunter and his team winning the ball game
AND for his graduation

Must go make some more dough $$

trying to see if anyone call tell me what TIME the wedding is....
Andrew and Kelsey's that is...
I'll just use my imagination for awhile

magpie said...

Yes, Lolly...I am "Curious Yellow"...isn't that a name of an old movie ???

LOL

magpie said...

oh dear, that IS a name of a movie from Sweden in 1967...think it might be one of "those" kids of movies...

LOL - - by the way, Lolly, How's the Book ?? or is it, All 3 books ??

Lolly said...

Eaglet in nest just took off from 2. He had been watching something and then lightened the load, hopped to the stump, came back down and took off. Love it!

Lolly said...

Hmmmm? You talking about the books I have been reading? LOL Very good! They get the blood circulating!☺

Lolly said...

Carolyn must have told you!!!

Mema Jo said...

Back again and read that it was late late but that Paula arrived safely. She probably had less traffic during the late hour of travel.

Charlie back in ICU shocked me. Prayers for him, Carolyn, Jess & Jen. Carolyn had said he was doing well awaiting the gall bladder surgery. I have a feeling this was unexpected.

Mema Jo said...

I am awaiting another email from Julie as to Kay's progress. I will report
rehab address as soon as she is moved.

magpie said...

Thanks Jo...

I'm also waiting on update regarding
Charlie but think I already woke up Jewels or almost did with a text message a little while ago...
pretty sure she will check in HERE or with me then I can share if ok with her...

yes, Lolly ☺

GOOD SAT. MORN
TO ALL.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I was watching a little earlier when the younger fledgling decided to get up on his feet, exercise his wings, fly up to the perch at 10 o'clock, fly back down to the nest, check the wind from the launching pad and take off beautifully into the wide blue yonder.

Incidentally, if you haven't updated your flash player recently, you might check your version. I just found out they have a new rev this morning. They're supposed to be notifying me, and they used to do it, but recently I've had to periodically check it.

JudyEddy said...

I emptied my rain gauge this am with almost 5 inches of rain in it from the past two days

Lolly said...

Two eaglets in the nest, chowing down or so it seems!

Thanks, Carolyn, keep us updated. So glad he is finally getting rid of that gall bladder and certainly hope that does the trick. Prayers for Charlie and for YOU!♥

In from the yard. We did some planting, I repotted some Aloe Vera. Need to give more away! Now I have ice on my lower back. Think it is just tired.

Joey and Joseph are home. So thankful they had a fun trip and are now safely home. Joseph's favorite this was the 16 mile bicycle ride down the mountain. He went further than anyone. If they got tired they could ride in the van following them, not Joseph! He did the whole ride. That's my boy!

Mema Jo said...

Judy - recital isn't until 6pm and will probably last 2 hours with 50 performances by all ages. The dance instructor is also my Cousin and she has the fastest moving production I've ever attended. One group goes off stage and within minutes the nest group is on stage and ready. I'll do my best for pics and/or a recording. Her bigest desire was always to learn the Irish step dance and this year she is in it.

Mema Jo said...

Joseph is going to be an "Achiever"
You have every right to be Proud of his accomplishments - even riding down hill for 16 miles! Was his dad close behind?

Lolly said...

Joey did not go on the bike ride. His back would not have allowed it.

Oh, yes, Joseph is an achiever! So proud of that boy. Joey gave a report to Laurel kid by kid. He is glad he is not a father to a girl. LOL He was very proud of Joseph's enthusiastic, positive, and respectful behavior.

well, on the bright side, I've only seen one stinkbug in the past week! The overwinterers have either been killed, gotten outside, or died inside. So we'll have a couple of months of SB free time before they start moving back in in the fall.

Lynne2 said...

adult Loon is back and I don't see Li'l Loon...he was preening at 6 o'clock, just barely visible in the picture.

Margy - How HOW was it outside?

Mema Jo said...

I am still alert to any message that comes in from Julie about Kay - nothing yet today.

Lolly said...

Thanks, Jo. Know you will let us know as soon as you can about Kay.

Yes, I know all of you there will "be there" for Christie and Carolyn. I feel a closeness and do a double take every time I see Carolyn or Christie's "Riner" name.

Very good to know Charlie will have gallbladder surgery on Monday. Just so hopeful that his recovery will finally give Carolyn some time to regroup emotionally and physically.

Jo, enjoy the recital and look forward to hearing all about it.

Lynne, sure wish you were living in a "bug free" zone.

Lolly, hope your back improves. Nice you got some more planting done. Still looking to get some tomatoes in the ground here.

Sure hope Julie sends an update on Kay soon. Just want to know she is continuing to improve.

magpie said...

OH Yes, it is very HOW outside...I did not even realize I did that !

Enjoy, Jo..like we really have to say that !!!

Lolly, Bet it won't take you long to make yourself presentable !

magpie said...

Too funny..
Lynne2:
you mentioned watching Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman the other night...

TV at brother in law's is on the fritz right now, all I can get are some pay channels, lots of infomercial channels. BUT
Big Valley AND Dr. Quinn are available, BUT I missed that show !!

magpie said...

But Carolyn and Jenn were able to help me figure out how to use the DVD, and, between all of us manipulating multiple light/power switches and the remote control for one of many ceiling fans there..."we" aka Carolyn got it figured out !
Land of a thousand switches there

Lynne2 said...

LOL Margy!! We've been watching the Big Valley too. It's the Inspiration Channel! Also the Waltons!

Today is a FREE fishing day in MD so Steve and I are going fishing. No license needed. He has one, one for me isn't in the budget just yet. HIS was a gift from friend Dave.

Hello from work. I am hopeful that Charlie will have surgery on Minday. Bad thing is I never get to talk to the dr. I can't get in there ealry enough and I can't stay late enough with my work schedule, so to get info from him, its sketchy. Before I left, he said he doesn't know about surgery. So..... more to come I am sure. Kidneys seem to be working better, he is less dehydrated. Said he doessn't feel better. Can tell he is agitated. As usual for him being confined to no bed. He is on a liquid diet since he may have GB issues which has him mad, because he is hungry. Before this, he had no issues with the GB. THe Dr seemed not concerned for immediate surgery when he was cleared of the coumadin. UGH!!! I hate all of this. I am so tired of everything, the stess, the emotional roller coaster I seem to be glued too, the thought of never evr paying off that hospital!!
I want to be with Shar and Sissy at the wedding, having fun, smiling and crying for good things,or the beach!! Ohh the beach! No vacation time here at my job. Love my job, but I have not had a real vaca in a yr. just using time for family medical. I want nothing other than my Mom to be back here on OUR earth and not Gods!!!

Jewels said...

boy did I miss spell!!!
Being confined to a bed ** early** Monday** Stress* ever**
sorry about that. Doing too many things at one time here!!

WVJerry said...

Jewels - Hi. Sounds like you got a lot going on in your life now. Just know you've got a lot of wonderful friends here on your side. Thoughts and prayers your way for you and yours. As for spelling/typing...it's not a real strong point for me either in case you hadn't noticed. Hang tough and keep your head up and things will get better. Take care.

WVJerry said...

Been home from work for a while, checked cam, messed with an old electric lawnmower neighbor bought, got something to eat and relaxing some now. Looks like fishing is off since my son is asleep. Lynne 2 - hope you catch a lot of fish. Our last time at river we had our best night ever. Caught 7 smallmouth bass from 10 inches to 15 inches. Kinda disappointed though our camera batteries were dead.

Jewels said...

awww WVJerry, you so kind.
I do know that I have many friends here. for that I am thankful!! I am so glad to have met you. I hope that with the future gatherings, you will be able to join.

Hoda said...

Good evening everyone/ Good afternoon for thos of us who are west...

I just got back in and it was a fantastic day.

Poured rain all day long but the paddling was good and learnt some good new pointers and life generally feels good. Got a bit cold and I saw an eagle soaring over the lake...could not wqatch it for long as we had to do another drill and man oh man did the heavens pour a short while later so the drizzle went to a full blown down pour for a while...My rain gear while it needs improvement kept me pretty warm and dry and that was a good thing.

I have not read back...I hope we heard from KAY and that she is doing better. I hope CHARLIE is doing better and that he would soon have his surgery to stop all this infection stuff that is going on for way too long.

I see an MT nest so I hope there were some sightings of the Juvies and the parents today.

I will be back after I finish reading.

Lolly said...

She really is gifted with natural rhythm & has a good memory and didn't miss a step! I will be getting some photos from her dad & post them in FB and then email to you not on FB.

oh, I'm done pouting. It was mostly a nice time. The evening was just beautiful! Lake as clear as glass. Saw a GBH flyover low! We met a nice couple there. We had a STALKER! A turtle kept swimming around the point, raising his head every now and then to check us out! I'm pretty sure it was a snapper. Our peace and quiet was briefly interrupted by some young idots...some in a larger row boat and 2 more in a smaller one. The small one flipped over. I was sure they were gonna die trying to get out of the water. But they made it. No doubt alcohol was involved.

I haven't been out fishing with Steve in forever. Last year, we spent most every weekend up at my MIL's, so we didn't have much opportunity to go. And things have changed for me. It was hard to stand still for longer than a few minutes because of my stupid back. Eventually I flipped over the 5 gallon bucket and sat on that. Then Steve had to help me get up because when I tried, my knees gave up. I managed to catch 3 dinky fish, and each time I had to have Steve come and get them off the hook because I didn't have my glasses and couldn't see to get the hooks out. OMG. I've gone from being a pretty self sufficient fisherman to a physical wreck.

Sigh....

Now, remember when we went hiking and I had to pee in the woods and couldn't get back up because of my knees early in the spring. WELL! On the bright side of it all, I have figured out how to deal with that!!

BTW....the BB house out in the field has 3 of 4 eggs hatched now, and the one in front had all five hatched by yesterday! Never had them use the front box before. Very cool, because I can watch them from the living room! I've seen the male fly up to the wire, and then the female comes out of the box and he feeds her!

Well, I'm heading to bed.

Sure hope we will get an update with GOOD news on Kay's recovery tomorrow!

And prayers too for Charlie...

Good night and prayers for ALL!

Ms. Lynne2, fishing is supposed to be calm and relaxing!Seems like you had a tough time, especially w/the hoodlums! Hope your unicorn eats other food besides fish since you probably didn't bring any of yours home!

Good morning my eagle peeps.

Morning everyone,
See more prayers are needed for those ailing - Good grief, we need for all to have a healthy day, week, month!

Long hot day yesterday - but so worth it. Grandson competed in his first Tae Kwon Do tournament and got a first place & 2 seconds (forms, board breaking & sparring). We were all thrilled he did so well. In everyday life he's a bit contrary and reluctant, but he may have found his niche. :o)

Granddaughter performed in her first dance recital. Did well, no stage fright, and is such a cutie.

A few pics on blog -- (darn those digital cameras, so easy to take picture after picture - took over 400 pics - difficult to choose just a few.) LOL

Wishing everyone a great day.
