Still practicing his hops and wing flaps.

paula eagleholic said...

I slid right thru it too, Lolly

Lolly said...

Glad we survived! LOL

Lolly said...

Glad you made it to a grandson ballgame, Paula. They get better as they get older. It is amazing how they play at age 12.

paula eagleholic said...

Really looking all around the nest area!

Lolly said...

Wonder who or what Bro is watching. He certainly has been moving his neck and head around.

paula eagleholic said...

Oh for sure Lolly, they are fun to watch now, too!

Lolly said...

Saw a poop shoot a minute ago and was hoping he would take off.

paula eagleholic said...

I think John played ball for 15 years, Michael about 10 years

paula eagleholic said...

Laurel is back home now? Did you have a nice time when they were up?

Lolly said...

Joseph did a double play the other night. He caught a fly ball and then put a runner out at second base. Boy were we cheering!

paula eagleholic said...

Finally got my do done, a month overdue, but got treated to a double rainbow on the way home! Posted a pic on FB

paula eagleholic said...

Oh Fun! Both my boys were pitchers...talk about nerve wracking! Then John switched to catching. They both had fun playing.

Lolly said...

Oh, yes, we had fun. She was here for two nights. She went home yesterday afternoon before our storms. Joey and Joseph will be home tomorrow night. They have had a ball in Colorado.

paula eagleholic said...

Rather interesting to watch your son coaching your grandson! Seems like it was just yesterday it was John out in the field.

paula eagleholic said...

OH, Missy on the 9 spot! Just saw a lovely wing appear!

paula eagleholic said...

Bro at the 8 spot, looking out

Lolly said...

Joseph plays 3rd base and pitches.
He played t-ball several years ago but has played soccer since. He wanted to play baseball this year. We were not sure how he would do compared with those who have been playing for several years. However, he is a natural athelete and did very well.

paula eagleholic said...

Missy in the nest

Lolly said...

Two in the nest now!

Lolly said...

Looks like Missy is grooming Bro. LOL

Lolly said...

Thank you, Loretta.

I wondered if there were some reason not to give anti-nausea drug in the IV. Seems almost standard procedure now.

The night light is set and the sandperson is setting up the GPS system.

Wishing Kay a restful night and that she will be feeling greatly improved in the morning.

Restful sleep for all.

paula eagleholic said...

Put up a hanging plant out front last week, already have a bird nest and egg in it!

and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you and Darth!

Very nice for Sarah at NCTC to reply JudyE...thanks for asking for us!

GREAT news Jo! We will NOT worry about some ole spot, just like the Dr says!

Hoping that when Julie went back this evening to see KAY, that the nausea had passed. She has suffered so much. I will be so elated to hear she has turned that corner and is on the mend.

JO - Glad to hear your news that the doctor says your wheezing is better and he is not worried about the little spot. Keeping you in prayer, Dear One.

Any news on Melissa Jo's appointment? Did she meet with a specialist today?

Prayers for Delphia and for Becky as well.

Praying for peace and happiness throughout tomorrow and Saturday as Andrew and Kelsey work on their final preparations.

SHARON - thinking of our Mother of the Groom and the love and pride in your heart.......

Mema Jo said...

Mind Reader! Melissa Jo was more then pleased with her Specialist (woman)
She is going to keep very good tract of MoJo (Melissa Jo) Med will remain the
same but other med changed to a
suppository so the medication gets where it is needed. They talked quite a while and Mike (hubby) was with her and got his questions answered. So---all in all she feels relieved about everything.

Mema Jo said...

Going over to map quest so I might be awhile. Need directions to Ft Bragg for Michael - he is going down to his daughter's to help Izzy celebrate her

Day almost over!
Glad to hear about Melissa Jo.

Had a TX phone call. Daughter got home from Amsterdam last night at 9:30 instead of 4:30 PM.Before plane took off in Holland, guy w/the little truck ran into the baggage compartment door!Small dent, but they had to take pics and confer w/Atlanta.Was a still MT plane right next door, so they had everyone take their carry on stuff and switch. That ended up being 3 hrs. overdue also for the people who were supposed to be on that plane. They later got the one that had the dent!Sherry said of course they missed the connecting flight in Minneapolis to go to TX, so that accounts for the other overdue 2 hours!
That is so unclear, I might do a face plant!
If I konk out (highly likely), want everyone to have Pleasant Feather Dreams and Prayers for Good Health ;>)

Hoda said...

The snow is still on the mountain tops JO but lower elevations have melted...it is still cold enough to wear two layers and socks with shoes, too wet for sandals...June is always an unpredictible month in Nelson weather wise.

Hi everyone :)

I just wanted to let you know that I'm doing okay. The incision site isn't very painful, the tape is itchy and I REALLY would love to wash my hair, but other than that, no issues.

They said it would be about 5 business days before they have the test results. As soon as I hear, I'll be sure to let everyone know.

Thank you all for your love, support, prayers, positive thoughts, and comments during this difficult time. You truly are a family to me, and I appreciate each and every one of you :)

Good "last day of school with students" morning all!

Have done enough speed reading to pretty much keep up with what's been going on here, but have been so busy that I haven't had time to post much once my days get started! School, more glitches with the sale of my mom's place, getting the house ready for 3 pro tennis players to stay here for a week ...

Josh came to school for about 4 hours yesterday, and he was walking!! Using a walker, but he was vertical!! We were all so happy to see him!! He's recovering just fine - thanks for all the Momster prayers!

Jo, good news on your doctor visit! Any word on whether Melissa was accepted into the study?

Hoping that today is a better day for Kay. Don't some pain meds cause nausea as well?

Big camera shake - someone just landed in the tree. MT nest!

Good morning,

Hi Sandi--First time in many years that I have not had to do the end of the school year thing. Kind of nice to sit here and have my coffee and not worry about closing out a school year.

Hunter's team finally won a game. Last regular game of the season, and they won 12-11 when the game was called because of lightning and rain.

I see one eagle juvie having breakfast in the nest.

I see Judy is here, along with Sandi, but haven't read back yet.

Still need to read back!!

Good morning everyone. Becky is home from hospital as of last night. Insurance sends you right on your way. Hoping she does indeed take it very easy. Dex and i are off with the stroller camera and photography friend just for fun this morning. I actually haven't done that for a while. If anyone who sees this has a moment to send me the address for where Kay will be for Rehab I would so appreciate it. I saw it come over the blog on wed so I can go back and scan for it later but it would surely be awesome if I didn't have to scan through the blog for it. Thanks to whomever. Have a Good Day everyone.

Lolly said...

Can not help you, Glo. I need to scan, too. Why did I not write it down? Duh...

Wishing Becky a quick recovery, but I know from experience that it takes time. I really hope she does not push it!!!

Well Goodness Gracious to Royal Betsy!!! With and apology to Her Majesty the Queen!!!

I walked in rain, hail, sleet, snow, more rain and I am soaked to the bones!!! The rivers are flooding their banks. WIth the melt off and this incredible amount of water we have bridge closures and mud slides and creeks over flowing their banks. Where the roads are closed people normally go the other way and use Trans Canada Highway which runs out at the shores of the lake and we have to have a ferry ride to connect us to the other side of the highway...WELL THe Ferry hit a rock and had to be out of service for a few hours to make sure it is OK...it is the small ferry that is on, the big one is in for maintenance...so the high ways are backed up and there are some pretty disgruntled people walking around Nelson waiting for them to open and move on...

What came to my mind in all of this chaos is a movie I watched when I was in Egypt called THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY. An African native got hit on the head by a bottle of coca cola thrown out of a float plane high above...all the native heard was the roar of the plane and the bonk on the head and he decided the Gods must be crazy!!! It always makes me laugh and this is what was in my mind as I walked through the water that was up to my ankles it was coming down so strong and the drains could not take it all in!!!
Anyway I am in and am having a cup of ginger lemon tea...life is good and I know Gratitude...
I think the GOOD LORD is just letting us know who is BOSS.

Well I helped Mother then took her to eat Chinese. We both enjoyed that. Got some work on the house for her and me to do coming up grrr family grrr but I will always stand behind her and help.

When I left I was very tired just wanted to come home and sleep. Something maybe me not to turn to go hit the Interstate 81 to head home. Then I remembered the lady at WalMart in Martinsburg told me Mr. Brown is off with some kind of heart problems. So going by 2 trailer courts I decided it had to be the other one. I pulled it did not have to knock on doors. There was Mr. Brown walking toward me. When we own 441/443 Faulkner and lived in the one side Mr. Brown and Marie rented off us the other side. Best renters I ever had!!!

I am very glad I waited on Marie to come home. Cause Mr. Brown had told me they found a spot on his lung and he is taking radiation and chemo. Marie told the WHOLE story. He has 3 months if they do nothing. 6 months if he takes the radation and chemo. Can not do surgery because BOTH LUNGS has cancer all throughout them. We hugged and cried. Marie said, "I can't believe you found us." I said, "that seems to be my thing lately finding people I care about but being to late for them living very long." She took my phone number and said when he gets worse I know you want to be with us. I think that was Marie's way of asking me to be there for her. I will be doing that if she has time to call me before hand. God Bless Marie and Mr. Brown♥♥

Good evening to anyone still around. I see now that both eaglets can leave the nest now. I need to get on more often. Just want to add my thoughts and prayers to the ones here. As I read some of the posts, you can tell what a great group of people is here. Thanks for letting me be a small part. I used to work with a man when I was in my late 20's and early 30's and he always told me when you have your health you've really got something...not really thinking much about it at that age but the older I've gotten the more I realize what he was saying to me. Got to be up at 4:00AM for work so I'm off now. Take care all and enjoy the weekend. Hopefully we can get out fishing some next two days. Already got golf lined up Monday in Mt. Airy with some friends. Coming up on 29th Anniversary the 17th...hopefully I will know that then like I know it now. Might check back in Sunday some time.

It is 9:17 PM EDT and the nest is empty...

Thanks for checking in JERRY. Have a great weekend yourself.

Jerry nice you dropped in...have a good weekend.

It is getting rather dark at the nest and it is EMPTY.

I have been watching the Mystery Theater. Sometimes I just can't figure the ending - too many characters presented!
I am glad Jerry keeps checking back with us every once in a while.

Need to do a few things but I'll be
back.

Wishing everyone appropriate weather for whatever their weekend involves. Continued recovery & pain relief for those in need.

Long day tomorrow on the road - 1 1/2 hr road trip to see eldest gr.son in TaeKwonDo tournament. Then 2 hour drive from there to see eldest gr.daughter in dance recital. Then 2 hour drive back home about 12 hrs after we leave in morning. But they are worth it!

Good nite all!

Eaglelover from Hancock Foundation has a video on where one of the chicks in the Maine nest seems to have slipped out of the nest...I watched it several times and it happens towards the end one or two position...

Staying home tomorrow and working in the yard. Not going to Laurel's as there are races at Texas Motor Speedway. Do not want the traffic hassle.

Looks like the rehearsal dinner has been successful. Saw pictures posted on fb. Fantastic!

Good "Andrew and Kelsey Wedding Day" morning to you Thelma!!

I am woefully behind on what's happening with my blog family! Between ongoing problems with getting my mom and getting her place sold, getting my classroom packed up for the summer, trying to finish the upstairs bathroom project, and tennis players arriving at the house for the upcoming tournament, I haven't been able to keep up.

I did see in bold that Carolyn's Charlie is in ICU - poor Carolyn and poor Charlie!

Hope Kay is doing a little better today and that Glo's daughter is taking it easy and starting to heal.

Busy busy day here - bathroom STILL isn't finished and it needs to be put to use starting today!! The floor is finished and, as of 5pm last night, there IS a working toilet. But there is painting that still needs doing (one wall of beadboard was primed but they forgot to paint it before they put the stained trim at the top and bottom, all of the stained trim needs polyurethane, the shower rod and towel bars still need to go up, and the whole room needs a good cleaning.

Last night I hit tennis balls with one of the gals playing in the tournament, just to give her some practice time and a chance to work on her serve. I was pleasantly surprised at how well I was able to keep up (though I won't be entering any WTA pro tournaments in the near future). Today is just check-in day for the qualifiers. Tomorrow, they start playing to qualify to get into the actual tournament. Two of the players staying at the house are qualifiers. The third, who won't arrive til Monday, is already IN the tournament and she doesn't start play til Tuesday.

Has anyone ever been to Africa and gotten the innoculations you need to travel there? I am scheduled to get mine Monday afternoon and am supposed to play tennis Wednesday morning. Wondering if I should anticipate any adverse reactions that might make me sick or sore?? Anyone know? Need to ask Lynn! ♥

Good morning.

Way out-of-touch.

Thank you Paula and Lynne. Good news for Jo's MoJo. Hoda has captured Linsey's heart and spent time playing in rain puddles yesterday. Hope Sandi's Josh did well and congratulations to Hunter - winning a game and graduation in the same week. Glad to see Becky is home and Kay is some better and Red is back to his sausage and gravy.

Very concerned about Charlie. Prayers for his recovery and for Carolyn and the family.
