Just had my bowl of cereal in front of me on the table. Had a very bad bronchial asthma attack. When over I felt something on pants leg. No was not Ed's hand. During the attack I must have hit the bowl of cereal and it landed on cleaned floor and on my pj's leg.
I had to laugh at the mess!!! lol
All cleaned up now just out of breath. Pj's in dryer and bowl of is less cereal. (:

I usually do too Margy but I realized at last minute I had stayed to long looking at Shep and Belle. Was trying to wait to leave until she relieved Shep in the nest. Which later when I read comments she did. I realized I was not going to make that tax appointment when I started driving to the appointment.
Will always go the speed limit on that road and most. Don't want no tickets plus that road is a killer!!!
Sandra Osbourn I would say lives the closest to nest. With having the stroke back years ago. I don't
believe she goes there. So I think
Wanda would then be the closees to the nest.
I am a ways from it maybe 20-25 minutes driving the speed limit.

No that was a woodpecker I think the Pilated Woodpecker you heard. Just from it being at the nest and making sounds. Plus I have one here and that is the sound it makes.

Pookie is progressing so much better than I could have imagined.
She was out with the other pets in the house on Monday, but only after grabbing the bedroom door from underneath and banging til Andrea let her out. So funny. And Eve, the dog, wanted to groom her like always so Andrea had to watch for that and keep them as separated as possible.

Dana, Eve is a 100+ lb 15 month Rotty and then there's 6 mo old Wally the kitty and then Pookie the three legged cat. They all love each other. Very sweet animal family.
There names were Ben and Girly and I changed don't like Ben so just made Benny and she is black so I went with Jet because she zooms around They are asking for wet can food now I got them already in a habit of it in the am and pm only split small can in between then Dry food is better to keep teeth cleaned also
Tell me, do kittens grow really fast these days? Wally is already 30 inches from nose to end of tail. He seems huge for 6 months old.

But all is well, all things considered. Drs. apptmt. cancelled. Dr. was at hospital with a death in his family. :( So sad for him, whoever it is.

Sorry you had a restless night, Lynn. I did something strange. Had not been asleep long when I yelled "Help". Woke Jack up! I remember the dream, too. Have not done something like that in a long time. Scary dream! Slept well the rest of the night.
Happy to see that there is no snow on the nest. Guess that is coming later. It is 42 here and gloomy!
The egg cup is so deep. Happy we can see down into it. I remember when we could not see down into it and was not sure of an egg or not.
Lazy snow...mix of small, medium and large flakes. Hedging it's bet, I guess!
Neer did eat any dinner last night. At 2:30 was having some pangs--ate a big bowl of ice cream, which appeased! Just had a grilled PB&J for brunch. It hit the spot!!
Checked some of the traffic cams for I-81 and can see the snow falling.
Wanda...not H'town---I don't Dr. over there. It was Dr. Jones. And I had already cancelled Tom for tomorrow as my knee is doing superbly well!

Nikki finished one semester - three to go - she's presently in the second. Well, ya know, home is PA, lived in Boston for nearly 20 years. I miss several aspects of the "big city" - the "T" (subway) being a big one.
I wouldn't have missed coming to Montana because I have my mom's adventurous spirit and I was ready for "peace and quiet," but ok, ready to move on!

Morning all. Light snow here in western PA. This snow came from Kay, I think. We are on the northern fringes so should only get an inch or two.

It will be warm and sunny today, and I'm planning to get out there amongst the rays for a while. I'm getting on the cadaverous side of pale lately.

Grannyblt, it's common for a new pair to lay just one egg the first year, and since this is the Shep's first year, that could be what's happening.
It's still possible to get a second egg today though.
Snow's coming down pretty fast now, but it appears to be melting right away. Weather Channel shows 36° now, so that's probably why.
