Lori, as far as I KNOW, she's fine....but in the dream she collapsed and I couldn't get any response. I woke up before I could check for a pulse.....
She is 92, and in good health, but....
She sleeps until at least 9 her time so 10 ours. My sister and her hubby sleep until about 11 (he works 2nd shift) and NEVER answer their damn phone. I don't want to call Mom and wake her because it gets her very confused.
So I just have to wait and worry.

Always trust that God is in control and remember she is always in His hands. Worry is something we often do, but does us no good. I lifted your Mom up in prayer and hope she is completely okay. You already have so much on your plate, dear one. Try not to worry.

It is nice because it is so thin and lightweight though. Decisions, decisions.......
I just don't understand all that I can do on an iPad. Can I save things and do any work related things or not? That is what I need to figure out.....

I thank all for your prayers and thoughts about my sister Anne's son-in-law....services were private, close family only, it's a large family, and they needed to feel completely comfortable with those they know well, at this difficult time....
My siblings and I agreed....that though we are "close family" - we will make our visits at another time, to share our time with the families.
The young man, Brad, was found to have stomach cancer, which then spread to lymph nodes, his illness lasted two difficult years.

Yes, Lolly it is and he is number 3 and I'm still not used to it. He has had his permit since June! He is not very confident, therefore not ready. My dad has been great with all of them and taking them out driving. I just can't do it!
Believe it or not, there WAS a Youth Shotgun hunt at NCTC on Tues. Assume that the campus and child care was closed that day. And that, thankfully, was the end of the 2011 hunt schedule there.

Dustin is 17 and still no license. I and Karla feel that he is too immature to be out there on public roads. Karla says he can drive very well, but just not ready to be turned loose yet! Babying him?...don't think so...just the facts, Ma'am!

Have a horror story about Laurel learning to drive. We were on a narror two lane service road. Traffic going both ways. We heard a fire truck behind us. She asked if she should pull over. Yes! She went to the left into the other lane, not to the right and off the road. A car was coming but it pulled over and stopped. OMG!!!
Remember that I was concerned about whether my sons would like the Kindles? Will had downloaded a book within an hour, and I could tell by Rus's reaction and the fact that he thanked me on FB that he was very pleased as well. He has already downloaded a book as well.
I did not think about the fact that they needed the cord to charge it without a computer, but it turns out that their iPhone cords work for this. Will was on top of this immediately on Christmas morning.

When I got up this morning I was feeling so much better then yesterday.
Don't know what hit me other then my
regular discomfort in my legs - I was nauseated and I just laid around most of the day. Dana WV called me and gave me a scolding for not asking you all for prayers - sorry- I know others have so much more to have prayers for. But go ahead and add me to your list. It could just be arthritis around the spine but Next week I will make an appointment that my Family physician set up at a Sport & Spine Clinic. It will be like a rehab. I hope it works as I don't like the idea of any surgery around my spine. I know your prayers will get me through this. Love you all! ♥

Oh, yikes, Lolly. I did meet a firetruck head-on at that same intersection (the one where Kathryn made the wide turn) at another time. Glad Kathryn wasn't driving then.
Firetruck was passing traffic just coming off a bridge, and I was able to get out of the way. Have to hope the firetruck driver was alert to turning traffic coming his way, though.
Kathryn is now a very confident and competent driver. But I do remember that day well. After the turn thing, she commented that she felt like she might be about to hit the parked cars on either side as we passed down College Avenue. Oh, my.
Kids joked later about the way I squeezed the arm rest on my side when they were driving.
Mema Jo, shame on you! You are one of my absolute favorite people in the whole world. Why wouldn't we want to pray for you when you need it? I guess we will just have to pray for you everyday just in case you choose not to inform us! I love you and hope you feel better!!!

MemaJo - hope along w/OTC meds you try heat, or massage. An achy leg sure can make you uncomfortable. By chance, is your shoe wearing down a bit on that side. Sometimes thats all it takes to make for aches here & there.
Had to chuckle @ Bubby the other day - I was telling him of the different suffering made known here, and he wondered aloud if it wasn't a virtual waiting room at some medical facility. I reassured him it was better than any facility at uplifting us w/any ache or pain we had.
Well my sweet friends it is time for me to run my errands. Glad I re-read my note of things to do.

Lynn, your dream is disconcerting for sure but your mom is likely doing just fine. Remember, the brain plays tricks and drugs can influence. Think Freud: you may be feeling a bit helpless right now and that was translated into being unable to help your mom rather than yourself.

Margy, sorry to hear about your sister's son-in-law's long illness and passing. It's always sad to lose someone we love but esp. sad when the person is so young. Parents are not meant to outlive their children.

JudyE...you should be able to run Snagit if you have at least 1G of memory...what you will need is some disk space...they do take up some room if you want to keep them

SHIRLEY today I am sooo cold we had a cold front come in last nite was in the 30's north of here It was 48° when I picked up Jordyn but last week was soooo nice but not today suppose to be all week I think
HODA - when you get back: do they do chair yoga by you? I saw advetisement about doing yoga as you sit in a chair. Also saw on TV where they were doing yoga to karaoke - did not look restful & restorative to me.
RE: PET NAMES: I've always wondered why you can call "Here Kitty, kitty" and get a cat to respond, but we don't call "Here doggy, doggy" and get the same response. Doggies seem to prefer a name, yet aloof cats don't necessarily care about the name.

SANDI, Karla called me a short while ago, from her home. She said the ride home (she lives on a mountain top) was horrendous. She is in extra pain now because of all the walking around they had her doing at the hospital, but, they have given her Demerol, I think, for the pain. She says she is so looking forward to going from month to month without all the problems that she has been having for so many years.
Doctor told her that her uterus was 4 times the size of a normal one!
