Has Belle always had a dark spot on one side of her beak where it meets her feathers? I don't recall noticing that before.

Sandi, I've noticed that that spot on her beak looks dark today and I've never noticed it like that before...it's probably a leftover from the roadside cafe effect.

As always extra prayers for those that need them (especially those w/appts today).
Here's a head scratcher: Daughter is in trouble w/childrens school. Yesterday she pulled both out of school. Since Monday, 6 or more children have been sent home each day w/head lice. School seems ho-hum about the situation - even having the students share costumes (hats) for school play. Daughter has been told their absence is "non-excused" absences and their records will be so noted.
Just thinking about it makes my head itch!

CarolAnn-I would pull my kids too! Lice are awful to get rid of, we had the experience once and I would never want to go through it again.
Pictures are finally up on my blog. Had to make multiple posts. I guess my pictures are just so large. I always take my pics in the highest resolution, which makes it difficult for posting, but the best quality for everything else.
GM eagle buddies. I missed the early visit again. I was too lazy to get out of the comfy bed and get to the computer. Maybe later.
Dana Mo, I sure need a cheat sheet. I also need the official Eagle Momsters book of biographies detailing children, grandchildren and health issues. LOL
CarolAnne, My school district would also consider those unexcused absences. But, so what? Unless there are a number of unexcused absences, the district isn't going to do anything. I'd rather have 2 unexcused absences on my kids' school attendance record than to have them bring home lice for Christmas! Good for your daughter!

Been home for a little bit and saw eagles in nest when I got here cool beans Jordyn says neat I got a nother camera while we were at park there is another walmart and I got it there At my store they said there were no camera that take the batteries that I had but they were wrong I got almost the same camera but one more times zoom and 16mp 5x zoom other was 14mp 4x zoom does the same thing but the only thing is the new camera doesn't recognize the pictures taken by the other camera I see a eagle tail feathers on the edge of the screen after they poofed
Belle took off into the tree. Love hearing her wings. Shep flew off to the left. Can see the tip of his tail feathers on the left.
I wonder if any of my other video will show the spot on his beak I see shadow on nest of them see it jumping around on branchs above nest tooo cool
Oh I see an eagle shadow, must be on the 10 spot stump...looks like eagle just went further up in the tree...clunk

My principal showed up in my office (fortunately, I was doing paperwork, not just staring at the computer screen) but I had the cam up. Turns out, he's a big eagle fan and asked me to write down the URL for the cam and give it to his daughter, who is an 8th grader on our team! So he stayed and watched with me for about 15 minutes!! =) He told me a story about a local developer who wanted to build houses on a peninsula, cut down a tree with an eagle's nest in it a few years ago, and is currently in federal prison for the offense! I'll have to Google that to see if I can find the news story.
