SHEP PLACES TWIG NEAR 6....BELLE STANDS FACING OUT AT 12.

Sandi said...

Morning Thelma.

Kay said...

Have you heard gunshots yet ? I know nothing about those guns either. So, they just allow hunters with certain types of artillary on each hunting weekend ??? Why ??? Is it a competition so that all firearms much be equal ???

Kay said...

Hello, dear THELMA !

Sandi said...

Kay, have not heard any gunshots yet. THESE 2 WORK BEST AT OPPOSITE SIDES/ENDS OF THE NEST!

Lori O. said...

SHEP GOES TO MOVE HIS TWIG TO 4 AND BELLE RUSHES OVER...NO! SHE SAYS. SHE TAKES THE TWIG & DOES IT HER WAY.

WHAT A WOMAN!

Lori O. said...

Good Morning, Thelma!

T-Bird said...

I'm glad to have not missed a visit this morning.

Lori O. said...

BELLE IS MOVING THE DEER LEG. MOVES IT OVER INSIDE NEST RAIL AT 7, THOUGH I'M SURE THAT'S NOT IT'S FINAL RESTING PLACE.

Kay said...

I miss MARGY, but hope she's having a ball with her visitors.

♫♫♪ Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, dear James "The Wise" aka "The Kidster" !!!! ♪♪♫ Hope your party is a lot of fun !

Lori O. said...

SHEP SITS ON RAIL AT 6 FACING INSIDE OF THE NEST. BELLE IS IN CENTER OF NEST LOOKING AT 5 AND SHEP.

Lori O. said...

THEY'RE NOT VERY ACTIVE THIS MORNING.

Lori O. said...

Guess today is James' birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JAMES!

Sandi said...

The sun has come out here but I don't see any sun on the nest yet. Lori, I read the nest forecast but have already forgotten what it said.

Kay said...

I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING ABOUT THEIR NOT BEING ACTIVE AND REALIZED THE CAM HAD TIMED OUT AT 14:58. gRRR

Lori O. said...

LOL Kay, that happens to me all the time!

Lori O. said...

Kay, love your avatar. That is so super sweet!

Sandi said...

WONDER WHO THEY WERE YELLING AT?

Lori O. said...

BELLE IS LOUDLY SQEAKING AT SOMETHING AND WATCHING WHATEVER SHE IS UNHAPPY WITH INTENTLY.

Kay said...

Yes, it's Jame's birthday and Margy has a houseful, and she's hosting the party. His mother is up from Florida for the occasion.

WOW, IT SOUNDS LIKE SHEP AND BELE ARE TALKING TO ANOTHER EAGLE. I HEARD AN ANSWER FROM AFAR. DID YOU ?

Sandi said...

KAY, I DIDN'T HEAR A REPLY.

hedgie said...

Catching up while listening to our eagles quibble a little!! What a treat to actually get good sound for a change. Probably won't last....this laptop doesn't seem to like the audio of the cam much.

hedgie said...

More wind there than here---not too unusual---it's always worse by the river.

Sandi said...

Morning Lynn! I LOVE hearing them for a change!

Kay said...

PERHAPS SOMEONE JUST PASSING THROUGH AND BEING TOLD TO KEEP ON TRUCKING ???

Lori O. said...

ANOTHER CHIRP...BELLE LOOKS OUT AT 8.

Sandi said...

Bella has been waiting patiently - it's 2 hours past breakfast time. But I don't want to leave the computer! Feeling like a bad parent!

Sandi said...

DID SHEP YAWN?

Kay said...

Hi LYNN, did you get some good sleep ?

Thanks, LORI, it amazes me to see how much I've changed in 26 short years ! That was a very happy day, shared with my late sister and her hubby. They lived in Vegas and we traveled from Tucson to share our big day with them. Sweet memories !

Sandi said...

I MEAN BELLE - SHEP IS FACING AWAY.

hedgie said...

Sandi, different people prefer different types of guns. The state only allows certain kinds to be used during certain parts of the hunting season. It is now muzzleloader season. Think of an old Davy Crocket musket, and that's preety much what a muzzleloader is......gunpowder, a wad of something stuffed the in barrel or some such type of contraption. I think maybe a flint is involved. You can google it and learn about it for real!!!

Kay said...

Thanks for the muzzle loader info, LYNN. Why do they only allow one kind of firearm at a time ? I guess it's a State rule, right ?

Sandi said...

Lynn, I would think that all that work would make for a frustrating hunting experience. But maybe those who use a muzzleloader feel that they've accomplished more when they get something b/c they've worked so much harder than the folks who just aim and pull a trigger?

Sandi said...

POOF BELLE!

hedgie said...

Kay, slept good after 3!!!

Gotta share what Carolyn had posted on Facebook in the wee hours:

Feeling great!! Charlie and I decided to go shopping and a couple with young a child was in front of us and they only had 77$ and they had other things they wanted. We gave them $20. Charlie thought I would yell at him, I spoke up and said Merry Christmas to them!

Here are two kids without 2 nickels to rub together....and they shared with strangers. Love my girl and SIL!

Sandi said...

OR WAS THAT SHEP? I'M STILL SO BAD AT THIS!!

Lori O. said...

SHEP REMAINS STANDING ON RAIL AT 6.

hedgie said...

Poof......?Belle left, I think!

Sandi said...

OK, POOF 2!!

Lori O. said...

SHEP POOF! OUT AT 7.

Kay said...

I imagine muzzleloading hunters to be purists who enjoy playing Boone or Crockett for a day or two a year.

Sandi said...

OK, Bandit is awake now so I've gotta take him out and feed them both. Nice visit - with the eagles and with my new friends! BBL.

Lori O. said...

OKAY, now to get ready for the day. Kate should be home shortly...can't wait to see how excited the dogs are to see her after two weeks! And, I have signed up to take a class in applique quilting this morning. I've been excited about it all week. I snagged the best teacher at the local quilt shop. She is excellent!

Kay said...

Oh, my. LYNN, you brought out the tears with that one. Carolyn and Charlie exemplify the true meaning of Christmas ! God bless them !

hedgie said...

OOPS...made the mistake of looking at the OC Forum......here's another delusional post from Katherine:
SOME OF US FEEL THAT LIBERTY IS BACK............SOME FEEL IT IS THE INTRUDR................BUT AS YOU WILL SEE PERHAPS IT MAY BE BOTH MALES...APPEARING AT TIMES .......AFTER THE NEST .....ONCE AGAIN AS THEY BELIEVE THERE AR 2 MALES THERE AT TIMES WHICH MAKES IT DIFFICULT FOR US TO AND WHO IS WHO...................I WOULD BELIEVE YOU MAY BE ABLE TO ASSIST US IN FINDING OUT JUST WHO IS WHO BUT YES SOME OF US DO BELIEVE THAT LIBERTY IS BACK ALONG WITH ANOTHER ONE THERE HAS BEEN SOME FIGHTS HER AROUNG THE NEST WITH SOME INJURYS..........SOWE JUST WATCH AND HOPE THAT ALLL 3 WILL NOT GET TO BADLY INJURD.............THAT IS ALL WE CAN DO AT THIS TIME..........

They just don't get it.....and they don't KNOW the eagles!!

Lori O. said...

Good morning, Lynn. I hope your celebration continues today! It will for me!!!

Have a good day all.

hedgie said...

And MT nest!

JudyE must be gone early to get good viewing spots for the boat parade!! Or her puter has died again. :(

hedgie said...

Yep, Kay. The state sets the season....dates, game allowed and type of weapons.

Kay said...

It's a good thing our eagles flew the coop so Bella can get the attention she wants ! We love having you with us, SANDI !

Have fun quilting, LORI !

I've been here at Sycamore Palace Cyber Cafe for Early Birds every other day this week. Just call me, Every Other Day Kay.

paula eagleholic said...

Morning, all. Lori, which shop are you going to?

Kay said...

LYNN, in a word, delusional (sp?).

Lori O. said...

Paula, I'll be right near you at Sisto's.

hedgie said...

HELP! Lost my toolbars at top of the screen....can't seem to get them to stay...if I hover the top, it shows but it won't stay there. Anyone know what to do? I rebooted but it didn't help.

Kay said...

Good morning, PAULA ! Seems strange to have you with us on a Saturday morning. I forgot about your home in Paradise being closed up for the winter.

Kay said...

LYNN, try right hand click up there and you should get a "restore" option.

paula eagleholic said...

Well, I just missed our birds!

Sandi, glad your son will be home for Christmas!

Sandi said...

Morning Paula! Lynn, try hitting F11.

hedgie said...

I can't get my mouse to do a right click.....WHAT is happening???

paula eagleholic said...

Lori, I was wondering if that's where you were headed!

Lynn, on your browser or computer? If on the computer, right click and change the option to lock the taskbar.

DanaMo said...

They may work best at opposite ends of the nest, but we aren't going to get any eggs that way!

Kay said...

Yikes, I just jumped outta my skin and that's not a pretty sight ! One of the neighbors got all the way into the entry without me hearing them and then their Puggle, Kobe, began to bark at my door. She loves to come in here and must have heard me or my Christmas music. I have the music on very low due to the hour, but dog ears....☺ I did not respond because I'm not yet "decent".

We have a crow very close to the nest ! Caw, caw, caw !

hedgie said...

THANK YOU, SANDI!!! That worked. Whew---never had that happen before. DUH!

If interested...here is the WV hunt info:
Schedule

Sandi said...

By the time I put the food bowls down, Bandit had gone back upstairs and back to bed. Guess he's more tired than hungry. He has trouble getting moving in the mornings - his arthritis has gotten pretty bad, even with taking glucosamine. Bella inhaled her breakfast, climbed back up her little doggie steps to the sofa, and burrowed under her comforter. Now, time for MY breakfast.

paula eagleholic said...

Lori, I eventually want to take a class up there...I want to make a quilt for my bed at the beach house.

hedgie said...

Okay, Paula, I locked the toolbars!!!

Lori, enjoy your class! Sounds like fun. And tell Kate we say Welcome Home!!!

hedgie said...

Gotta go wake this lazy dog!! WOW....10 hrs! What a life!

Sorry you got a fright, Kay. Know that feeling!

paula eagleholic said...

DanaMO, who is going with you to NYC?

Sandi said...

Lynn, F11 makes the toolbars disappear and takes your tab to full screen. You may have accidentally hit it. I use it at school if I'm projecting a Word document or a video on my Smartboard and want to make the picture as big as possible.

Kay said...

LYNN, thanks for the hunting sked, makes for interesting reading. Hunting of one critter or another is possible all year long. Does NCTC allow hunting for anything but deer on their property ? Are there bears in that area ?

Kay said...

LOLLY, hope when you check in that you report feeling much, much better. Talked to my friend in Joplin, MO yesterday and she's had the same thing you've described. She says there is an epidemic of it there with scores of people being affected. :(

Kay said...

Do you all have Caring Bridge letting you know when Robyn posts an update ? She has a lengthy message there now, descibing some of the mobility tests Tori must take and pass in order to be transplant eligible.

Kay said...

Seems I've been left alone. You all have precious pets to tend to now that the nest action seems to be over for a while.

Good advice someone gave JUDY yesterday, regarding the frequency of activity we can now expect at the nest. Way to much for constant recording !

Okay, so I'm movin' on to newspapers, e-mail, etc.. HAGD ! BBL

hedgie said...

Kay, we do have bears, but there is no season for them in our county. NCTC only allows the limited deer hunt to thin the ever-growing population on campus.

hedgie said...

Thanks for that info, Sandi.....new to me! Didn't like that effect at all! Couldn't switch tabs fast!!!

hedgie said...

I got the email notice of Robyn's update....meant to mention it here. Thanks, Kay! Y'all take a look!

Costume Lady said...

GOOD MORNING...
Seems I chose a time to come on here when everyone is taking a break:)
I tried to get into TORI'S Caring Bridge diary and when I got done filling out all that was required of me, instead of being able to read Tori's entry, it opened up a journal for WANDA WRIGHT! What on earth did I do wrong? It was very late, and I know I messed up somewhere (in-between face plants).
I will try again at a more 'sober' time:) Robyn was the very first MOMSTER I met, after becoming a member of this super group. We were having a visitation with a few of the other members, at NCTC and we were the first ones there...waiting for what seemed an eternity and thought we were surely at the wrong building or had the wrong day:) Jo finally arrived and for the life of me, I can't remember who else came along!
Anyway, I met TORI a few months after that meeting and she was a sweet, but sad young thing. She was so limited to where and when she could go somewhere, because of her condition. She was able to go to our first Nest Visit because we were able to bring our motor home and park it near the nest. The air conditioning allowed her to watch the goings on in the comfort of the EAGLE EXPRESS (that was the name that the girls dubbed the motor home).
That was five years ago, and she is now in the position to have a life-changing operation, if she qualifies. Our prayers are needed like never before for TORI, that she is a good candidate for this surgery and that all goes well~

The Captain and I are going to either Winchester or Hagerstown and "get away for awhile". I must get a Christmas present for GG, today! I guess for Jayden, too. We give money cards to the kids and grandkids...they like that and so do I. Too much tought and leg-work to buy them each a gift, so I started with the money cards a number of years ago, now, Christmas is a breeze for me and I can enjoy it so much more!

JudyEddy said...

Have fun today, WANDA, GENE and JUDY !

WANDA, you hit the wrong button on Caring Bridge and opened up a site for yourself--not sure how you'll delete it, but sure there is a way. Go back and you'll see a place to go to Tori's guestbook, then you'll be asked to sign up to enter her site.

wvgal_dana said...

Mother seem a little better yesterday. Thank you and keep those prayers going for her. (((hugs)))

Costume Lady said...

JUDYE...I think what someone was trying to say, about your videos, was...don't wear you camera and batteries out on what is going on in the nest NOW. Save the life of your camera for the time when real romance has begun and egg laying is emanate. We who don't get a chance to see the eagles (as it is happening) LOVE your videos. Thank you for doing that for us♥

JudyEddy said...

I see light bulbs were discussed I have the new ones I love them I have not bought a light bulb since Oct 2007 I would have never bought they are so expensive I got them when my mom passed away She always had such a bad habit of over buying things she was always afraid of being snowed in or no way to go so she just stocked up on all kinds of stuff she use to stock up on regular bulbs but I don't think she thought about the new ones but she stocked up on those just as well she had enough light to do 4 peoples house I think I brought back about 20 and each of my sister got the same and we gave her neighbor some too so I like them I am just afraid if they ever burn out what to do with them can't throw away I know that Will cross that bridge if I ever get to it She had the nice ones that don't look like a corkscrew they are enclosed completely you can see the tube inside it

DANAMO I hope you have a fantastic time in NYC I have always wanted to go couldn't talk June into it when we went on vacation Terry and I wanted to go but she was the navigator and she ruled where is democracy on vacation LOL

LORI I hope you can get that electrical issue checked out that can be dangerous

JudyEddy said...

I check out the new time line on facebook boy does that look wild do you know any one that has it to check out you should we all will get it on the 21 some are doing it now my cousin Ron Struwe has his done and he sent me a message to check it out and I did I like the picture format in a way we will just have to get use to it no choice

Costume Lady said...

LYNN...I actually fell asleep during the MRI, but at one point, when the apparatus that I was lying on jerked my body, I woke up, very startled:) It was a piece of cake! I see Knutson next week for the results and to set up a date for surgery.

T-Bird said...

I got a little side tracked-chores. How is everyone doing today?

T-Bird said...

wax.

JudyEddy said...

I have rechargeable batteries so there is no issue and I have been doing this since before I joined the blog I would put on the facebook page so there is no issue and I am downloading on YouTube and not in the Pica album so the storage isn't a issue
I will continue to do some video and post on you tube and the fan page and will let you all know when I do and for those who don't see the visit and I myself like to look at them sometimes and laugh with the banter between the eagles and as far as the camera this is an expensive one I want to by a goooooood one with a better zoom one day I have been looking on line at some just checking out Hey did you all see the binoculars with a 10x zoom camera on it

Sandi said...

Judy, When you enter timeline in the search box on FB, you can try out what your timeline will look like. I played around with it and even uploaded a cover photo for my timeline but so far, I HATE it. I can only see posts that I've made - no longer have a wall that shows things that my friends have posted that currently show up on my wall. Must admit I didn't spend much time playing around with it. But, as you say, we don't have any choice!

JudyEddy said...

OK I am heading out the door need to call Tommy make sure he is ready You all have a great day If I don't check in not to worry may be late when I get home Love you all

Kay said...

JUDY, please take time to read our posts more thoroughly ! Wanda is exactly right in her post of 9:52am. We all appreciate you as a photographer and video queen ! The comments you took wrong came after you shared some frustrations with how the long visits by Belle and Shep make it more difficult time wise for you to share with us. However, if you really don't mind that after all, just go for it. None of us can be here for every visit, so it's great to see what we missed ! We♥U !

Sandi said...

In yesterday's mail, I got a letter from Ed Clark at The Wildlife Center of VA with a DVD in it called "Return of the Eagle." The copyright is 1999 and it's narrated by Billy Ray Cyrus. It's all about the country's efforts to restore the bald eagle population since the banning of DDT in the 70s. Haven't watched it all yet (have to get out of my pjs) but it's an incredible DVD that everyone on here would love!! It's probably available to watch online somewhere. If you can find it, watch it!! I got it b/c I bought a Garden of Eagles calendar and also made a small donation when the wildlife center took over the care of the 3 NBG eaglets last April. Again, if you can find it, watch it!!

hedgie said...

Well, I have one friend who did the timeline, and I think it stinks. What??? Posts won't show???? Then what is the point of even being on FB???

Wanda, when do you see Tom? I go Weds. at 1:20. Have to remember that when I set the radiation time!

T-Bird said...

I hope you all make a great day. (((hugs)))

hedgie said...

HODA, my DIL posted this on her FB after their recent trip to Abu Dabi:
"Now that I have examined both animals closely, I believe a camel is like a horizontal giraffe!" She has seen giraffes pretty close up in Tanznia. She also said that she thinks a camel's nose is every bit as soft as her donkey's nose back in West Virginia! Thought of you when I read her comments as you are the only other person I know who has had personal experience with camels! =)

Good morning! Oh...just heard a gun shot! Yuk! Jack has a muzzle loader that he made from a kit. He does not hunt and it has been forever since he took it out to target shoot. It is just a nostalgia thing! A hobby!

Wanda, when will you know about your surgery? Glad the MRI was a piece of cake!

wvgal_dana said...

I will have to email daughter about the Neti Pot. She uses her's but I don't know how. Thanks for posting information.

Hoda said...

Thanks LYNN for the link to the Cathedral's broadcast live. I appreciated it much.Good co-operative effort... Blessings.

Jack is taking our computer to Mike, a friend to "debug" it. I was upset because my address book is on the computer, not my laptop. However, I have resigned myself that I may not get my Christmas letter out until after Christmas and maybe that is good. I now have more time to do other things.

Going to start baking today. Holiday Lizzies (fruit cake cookies) are on the agenda today. They are Jack's favorite. Then I will do pumpkin rolls. Will give them to neighbors and will keep some for ourselves. Joseph's favorite. Then I will do the coffee cakes. Do double recipe so I make 8 and freeze them. Later in the week I will do pies and cinnamon rolls.

Hoda said...

Happy Anniversary KAY. May your memories of joy warm your heart and bring you peace. GREAT picture.

Got some info. about the new timeline on FB from a former student who is now a FB friend. Tim said that the timeline will just replace everyone's current profile page. But when you click on "Home," your wall will still be there with everyone else's posts. I can live with that! Judy & Lynn, thought you might want to know.

Hoda said...

With all the tlk on Facebook time line I went there and my page still looks the same...no changes...they finally fixed my chat after over a month and a half of not being able to see who is on chat, or to chat with anyone was not happening. It is fixed today...worked on Firefox but not on Internet Explorer

Lolly said...

Not going to worry about the timeline on fb, but glad we will see friends posts. That is what fb is all about!

Sandi I too just feel the Anniversaries will keep on going. Happy Anniversary to you and Stan. I know you have lots of memories and he is deeply missed. ♥♥

hedgie said...

Thanks for the FB info, Sandi! Good to know that it will only be on the profile page!
Neat camel narrative!

Hoda, I missed the last part of the service, but agree about the Palestine angle.

My lawn mower is back home. All tuned up, but oil leak is not really fixed. It is the drive shaft that is leaking....probably due to dried out seals. A lubricant added to oil MAY soften them and re-seal....time will tell. If not, a major job that Frank can't do.
He and Irene also helped me get the tree re-straightened! He brough GOOD sdtring that won't stretch the way the twine Caro and I used was doing! Now it's a straight tree again!

Happy Anniversary, Kay. A day full of lots of memories for you. (((HUGS)))

Two dozen Lizzies in the oven, two more ready to go in when those come out, and then will finish us with at least another dozen. Jack will be happy. He keeps them moist way into January with whiskey. LOL Take off the lid and the odor knocks you out.☺

Guess I will do pumpkin rolls today, too. Have Christmas music playing....I am on a roll!

hedgie said...

Lolly, have you ever made a white, amaretto fruitcake? Only kind I like, but I haven't made it umpteen years!!! Maybe I'll do that AFTER the holidays. Need to get some cheesecloth and the fruits.

Lolly said...

No, Lynn, have never made that. Lizzies or fruitcake cookies are all we like. Have tried making fruitcake but we prefer the cookies. These are really good, but if I recall right, you do not care for pecans and they are loaded with pecans.

Lolly said...

Last two cookie sheets are in the oven. Had Christmas music playing but the CD has stopped. Jack is out mowing/mulching leaves. Yea! Just have not had time to work in the yard and I am sure the dust would not help my sinuses even though we wear masks.

Hi, Everyone,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JAMES THE WISE!!
Hope it's a grand day for you!

Kubby took off to go to the dry cleaners, so dropping in to say a quick hello. We met Sis-in-law for breakfast this morning, then went and bought Emma some dog biscuits. The wind is still blowing just enough that we can't put up our Christmas lights yet. It's supposed to stop blowing this afternoon, I think. Looks very grey out right now. Not SUPPOSED to rain, but looks like it might!

Golly, re-measured Miss Emma for a dog coat or sweatshirt, and she is still growing! She's a year and 3 months old, and bigger than she was at 11 months. Guess she's a late bloomer!

Well, need to get busy and wash the kitchen floor. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? LOL Better just do it, and get it over with!

Thank you to the early birds who reported the nest visit so well! Sure do appreciate your efforts.

Well, better run. Will check back in later, probably after dinner. HAGD, everyone! Prayers for all continue! :o]

Wonder if just melting Crisco would work?? LOLLY????

Lolly said...

Do not know what to tell you Lynn. How much oil does the recipe call for. I know that you can substiute crisco for butter but not sure about substiuting for oil. Sorry I am not much help.

hedgie said...

Only 3 tbsp., Lolly.

Kay said...

LYNN,

Crisco for oil

Kay said...

Snow showers today. Now have a small accumulation on top of some bushes, but no sticking to walks or paving. Going up to 42 tomorrow so this dab should all go away. I'm not rooting for a White Christmas.

hedgie said...

THANK YOU, DEAR KAY!!!!!!! Whew!!! You rock, gal!!

Kay said...

LYNN, thanks to you and LOLLY for teaching me how to do links, way back in my early newbie days ! As you can tell, I love research projects !

Lolly said...

Good on you, Kay! What with only 3Tbs I was going to tell you to go for it. I am getting ready to make pumpkin rolls but all I have is unsalted butter, I want salted butter so I am going to the grossery store. Yuk! But, need milk anyway! Want me to pick you up some oil?☺

Lolly said...

"pick you up some oil" How about pick up some oil for you? Good grief, Lolly!!!

hedgie said...

DUH!!! Took another look downstairs when I went to get the dog bed out of the dryer. FOUND THE OIL! It was on the hardware shelf behind some plastic......Guess it got moved there when I was looking for something else! Feeling dumb!

hedgie said...

It is snow flurrying here like crazy. UGH.

hedgie said...

Thanks, Lolly...no need now!! Be careful....the crazies will be out there!!

Kay, I,too, want no parts of a white Christmas.

hedgie said...

Guess I'll get my hair "frosted" if the flurries keep up---cheeseburgers on the grill for a quick, easy, yummy dinner this evening!

Kay said...

Ha ! Seth and I will have cheeseburgers, too. Plus onion rings and a relish tray. Our burgers will done on stove top, however.

Kay said...

Oh, and glad you found the oil !

hedgie said...

Temp is down to 31°. I see the corners of the roof next door are white! Wind is blowing the snow pretty hard, so only landing on things that are kind of sideways in it's path.

hedgie said...

Kay, great minds think alike! LOVE cheeseburgers---so does, Lolly!

hedgie said...

First two pans of PB cookies are in the oven!

Sandi said...

Something just landed near the cam.

Sandi said...

I hear something.

hedgie said...

Decorating is 100% complete. Cleaning is done for now. Still want to do the top of the fridge and other things in the kitchen, but will save that for Mon.
I may bake MORE cookies tonight, or wrap some gifts. I am the world's WORST wrapper, so it's not a fun task! But just can't feel right spending the money for gift bags!

Sandi said...

C'mon down whoever you are!

Sandi said...

Had just told my husband that I didn't expect any eagles with the hunting today, then heard a noise.

Sandi said...

Lori - agreed. I bet I haven't seen 12 bluebirds in my life let alone 12 all at once! Very short visit!

hedgie said...

No, Lori...no pics. They were too fast....back in to the woods by the time I got the camera.

hedgie said...

I'll try tomorrow....I'll have the camera right by the door!!

hedgie said...

I wish I could get pics of the Indigo Buntings! Usually only see them when there's snow on the ground. And they aren't close to the house.
