Saying early morning prayers for LYNN, with hopes she was able to sleep well and is not having too much pain. The day after surgery is often the pits, but there is no reason to suffer these days.
Too dark at the nest to see if it's raining there and I'm not getting sound like others are.:( Have had it on 12 minutes now and keeping an eye on the time as it consistantly stopped at about 14:58yesterday. Refresh brings it right back for those who may not know.
Well, Hope n' Max got the boot on DWTS last night. They were both displaying too much anti-judge attitude the last couple of weeks. No surprise they didn't make the finals, in spite of the fact that she was, in MHO, a better dancer than young Mr. Krapdashian. He is easier to take than his sisters I must say !

SHIRLEY, I live what would be 2 blocks east, if most of it weren't woods, from the Olentangy. I'm in Clintonville near Graceland Shopping Center. For our 1st three years here, back in 1966, we lived in a townhouse across the street from Graceland. Then moved to a home in Upper Arlington and lived within about a block and a half of the Sciota. The latter being the major and larger river of the two. Just a coinkidink as LYNN would say, but living near the rivers has the advantage of being closer to deer, birds, all the critters who love access to water.

Haven't heard from Monte since he was at the airport. He had a layover at Salt Lake, but that was the last time we talked, last evening. I think it probably go to late east coast time. I go to bed early and he knows not to call and wake me up.

Praying Carolyn, Christie and Lynn was able to get more sleep than me last night.
The cam has an annoying aspect to it this morning. Usually, as in yesterday, it stops at 14:53 and refresh just picks it up there and will stay on for hours. Today it stops and then starts over again at :00, thus must be refreshed every 15 minutes. The lighting hasn't changed since I turned it on about 5am. Wondering if it's really working. Guess I'd better get the still cam up as well.
Oh Lori that just stinks.
I made it past the 14:53 without having to refresh. I'm on 23:30 now.
I could see a little of the nest on both cams. Now I only see black on both. No wait I see on the live some of the white of the tree.
Does the still cam look lighter, I don't have it up.
I hope they arrive soon. I've to to start getting ready~!

I do think it is terrible that people have to work all day long on Thansgiving. I do know some places do that. My ex sister-in-law has too at her job and it is not at a store.

Oh this is so funny. You have to imiage it: I said last night I was going to light a candle at home for Lynn. Well I am using those little candles that run off a battery. I keep getting my hand near it and think I am going to get burnt by the flame. lol and I moved it further away from me. So I won't get burnt. lol lol
There that is done. Just went in an changed my vote in Honor of Lynn. Oh that does make one feel good. To do something for someone else. Like you mentioned Kay the other names can be used for the eaglets along the way. Year after year until we use up the names.
Praying now that the name wins..it is fighting against only one other name. Maybe some of those will go in and change their vote too.
What was Lynn's choice on name? I'll change mine too.
I worked every Thanksgiving and most Christmases for 21 years at Harrah's Laughlin, NV. Casino Hotels are a 24/7 business every day of the year---many jobs like that, 911 operators, hospital staff, the list goes on. However, retailers, in the past closed for Thanksgiving and early in the morning Friday. But, opening at 11pm Thursday night or 12:00 a.m Friday means employees have to be there early and must give up part of their T'Day time with family, etc.. It just ain't right !!!!! I opted to work the holidays so young families could be together. Stan and I would just celebrate and eat our feast another day of the week. Once in a while his son came up from Phoenix for a holiday, but my kids always came to visit in the summertime.
Way behind schedule today and where the heck are those Eagles!!!???

On my own today. My assistant took the day off to go visit VA Tech with her daughter. She is hoping that her daughter does NOT like it. Mom doesn't want her to go there!

G☼☼D M☼rning Eagle Buds I am back but not for long I think
HEY EAGLE BUDS been a long time I did get the puter back yesterday and came home 545 and started burning my pictures on disc Was advised to introduce little to puter at at time first plug in basic keyboard,monitor, mouse, and monitor well I did that and did lots of pictures I did about 7 disc with out going down then 847 I plugged in the modem for cable last nite 946 opend email 1020 opened IE testing and everything worked great I left a disc burning when I went to sleep last nite at 11 Faceplant Woke up this am and puter WAS NOT ON so went down in middle of nite after using for several hours and didn't go down. Well this am turned back on and it went down immediately twice and now it is running ok not going down I turned on puter at 6 this am put nest on IE and it went down Now I have three IE open and email and it is running ok so far
After it went down this AM
It came up and said Norton wasn't installed offered my trial I clicked on it and got my 338 days back I wonder if NORTON has something to do with this because it started after I came back and it wasn't installed 100% As of this time I am still up and don't know what to think about it I am not taking it back to the place I did before ERIC at work said he could look at it He worked on quite a few at work and no issues with I may give him a chance I know it is sooo frustrating not knowing what to do I wanted to get all my pictures done first but still have some to burn just in case puter isn't saveable and didn't want to loose my pic o

I am a little slowed down on here this morning because Hunter needs the mouse I was using, so I am using the one on the laptop, and I am not used to that.
Also found out that Hunter sat on the computer and broke the thingy for the wireless mouse. But something was wrong anyway. Maybe it was loose and that's why it broke when Hunter sat on the computer.
I see something about candle on the left side of the box being I don't have time to go back and read can someone direct me to it Before my puter goes down I think its odd that it wend down right when I powered up but is running fine now with 4 windows open I wish I knew what it was
JUDYE, I believe you are referring to Susan Hill's granddog and grandcat. She keeps in touch through EM. You'll find a bunch of messages that repeat as many of us responded to them. You can pretty quickly weed out by observing subject lines and deleting duplicates once you've read one. Otherwise you're going to be bogged down for a very long time as you weed through them.

Good morning everyone! I have been sitting here thinking about Lynn and praying. I know that she is about as tough as they come and it is gonna take more than this to get her down. We have the strength of Momster prayer behind each one of us and, like I said before, that is some powerful stuff! Can't wait to hear from her first hand so we can know how she is doing. This disease has met a formidable adversary in our Hedgie!!!

I don't think they teach hunting, but at times there is hunting on the grounds there. If you go to their website, you can see what they teach, I believe.

Please don't worry about hearing gun shots. Our eagles are ok. One of the guards told me one day. When they were doing an exercise at NCTC. It was an exercise that I think shoots a net out of something like a cannon. It made a big bang sound!!! I called he said, "The eagles are so noisy that they will actually. Fly over to the other side of the property to see what is going on". lol
They do have deer hunting on the property. People have to sign up and register to hunt the deer. I don't know if they get to keep any of it. I do know most of it goes to Jefferson and Berkeley counties to feed people "the hungry".
Odd but I still haven't gone down this this AM I am not taking the puter to work today to give to Eric being it hasn't gone down with theexception of this am after powering up If it act up I can take to him I do want to finish up my pictures only have from April 2011 to present I did all of the one in past Jordyn birth and my vacation pictures just got the one above to do so not much more to do

Yes JudyE after NCTC has been up on the internet for years. They made a terroisim site with the initials NCTC. I don't think National Conservation Training Center was too happy with that.

Yes Thelma it is so so good for us. Especially now to have the live cam up. I do remember I think someone said that on the 21st it will be down for maintance. We can handle 1 day of that. I think lol

Eagles have been there so many years. Well aleast Belle has. That those gun shots should not scare them away from nest. No hunting is allowed near the nest. Plus like the guard told me when I called that one time. The sound I heard was all the way on the other side of the campus far away from nest. Although it sounded like it was right near the nest. So the cam picks up sounds real good.
I think the first eagle in the nest this morning was the male eagle and then Belle joined him and they both flew off. She is so much bigger that when they are together it is easy to tell them apart.
Oh good grief, I missed the visit.

Just wanted to tell Lynn and her family that I and all my critters are sending positive thoughts her way for quick healing.
As a cancer survivor, I understand the mental state she and her family are in right now. All the best wishes to them all!

Morning all, just checking in from work.
I have responded to DanaWV email. I understand that many will want to support Lynn in that way and I respect that. However, choose to not do so. It feels too much like a memorial or tribute and Lynn is still very much with us, so I will keep my vote as it was. Also, I personally feel that Lynn would not want sympathy votes for the name she liked just because of her illness!
