No Wanda did not do a report in last night. She usually does praying all is ok.
My live feed no matter what still today is timing out and stopping around 14:54 or 14:55 minutes. Tried like at 14:53 to hit pause and play but still times out.grrrr
Kay I hope your trip will be a safe one and when reaching there you have so so so much fun. You certainly deserve it with that hospital stay.

MARGY, I did a extended forecast check on Highland Park weather. Looks like a match for our weather here---in the 40's and 50's, occasional rain, not bad. I will be on line occasionally. I won't be in the guest room where there is a computer I could access any time, but Beth will let me use her laptop during the day. I'll be in Lauren's room since she's in Beijing. Beth's dad will have the guest room.
Anyhow, on the Disappearing Posts Case: They disappear when the blog isn't finished refreshing from the previous post. Sometimes it refreshes almost instantly, rarely, and sometimes I've seen it take more than 30 minutes before I just reload it. I can now tell if it's not refreshed by looking at the tab, and by seeing if the avatars are there. Guess it doesn't know what to do if it hasn't finished posting one post and there's a new one so it deletes the previous post. HUH!
Kay her Dad that will have the guest room. I am a little confused...Is his wife living? If so why did she not come along with him?

Ed started a practice of not allowing me or Mother to cook for Thanksgiving. So he would take us out to Dinner. So I am continuing what he started for us. I will take Mother out. Now if for some reason. Her pain is bad Thanksgiving Day I will go out and bring the Dinners back at eat there with Mother.
My Thanksgiving Day plans are to be home. Eagle-Eyed Sis has a big spread.
DANAWV, DIL's Dad is Keith. His wife, Judy, just passed away and he is in his 80's so he has seniority and gets the guest room.

My dil's mom, my good friend, Judy, lost her battle with Leukemia Oct. 9. They've always stayed in Minneapolis where they and two sons live(d) for Thanksgiving. We all feel it is time for Keith to get away and he agreed to join us this year. He's in his late 80's and may not have much travel left in him, so another good reason to do this while he can.
Lori, that is pretty whacky...I refresh after each post I make...just a habit, like right clicking and saving my message before I publish, in case...Blogger Cop is on duty...

Still not sure what I'm doing for Thanksgiving. My Mom called the other night and said she wasn't coming down today because she has begun feeling very tired again like she did before her bypass and valve transplant. She's got doctor appointments all next week before Thanksgiving. I don't want her to stress and feel like she has to cook...and she will.
Thelma that is so so very very true. Thanksgiving without a loved one is terrible. I am so thankful to God that Mother is still living. It has helped me so much with being without Ed. Mother just loved him so much too. They kidded around with each other so much. So many good Memories I have. (:
Lori can't you tell her NOT to oook that you are taking her out for Thanksgiving Dinner?????

Yep Tday at Angies She is having it at her house Usually we all go to MIL which is next door but they are going to another relative that is in StPete on the bay and Angies feels unsafe with it being right on the water no fence and she decided against going and having it it for me and her brother at her house I like that better anyway I told Angies that I was going to come up with an excuse to go if they were having it down there I am so bad I am Ha Ha

LORI, you are such a sweet daughter ! Hope you prevail in the plan to save your mom some work. She doesn't need to do anything stressful this year. That healing process takes more time than she probably realizes.
If Mother and I eat Thanksgiving out. I will get some turkey and ham in a take out box. So we can make sandwiches later. I do hope she will be feeling well enough to go. If not like I said I will take care of her.
She had told me if she couldn't go for me to eat there. Then I could bring her food back to her. I told her, "No way I will bring food back for both of us and we will eat together".

You are right about that Kay. It does take awhile for the healing process after that type of operation.
I hope Margy will have some place to go for Thanksgiving. Although knowing her. She will let someone with family take time off and she will work.

Switching to another Thankfulness Month photo, so I can get the family in before leaving for NJ. This is son Lee goofing off with Beth, the most wonderful daughter-in-law in the whole wide world. She's a prof of Political Science at Rutger's, manages the Highland Park, NJ Food Pantry and is a terrific wife and mother. I'm thankful they met in their Jr. year at Northwestern and have been together ever since !

On the tree limb closes to us, down near bottom where the knot is. It looks like a dogs head I see two ears, two eyes and the nose is the knot in the tree limb. lol cute

I saw that knot yesterday and mentioned it but didn't notice the dog or maybe a bear full screen it looks better on
I have talked with a couple of peeps on the eagle cam pages and they tell me that they think it is very rare and very odd that we have several cell towers with eagles in them that they are not social birds that they are private birds one lady asked me if I was sure they were eagles and not ospreys
May be it ate our mans face LOL
ha ha the tree limb behind the closest to us...is a long monster with one eye long upper part of mouth - just above eye you cn see two knots on tree making the nose and the open part of mouth below has a dark tongue on it.

WOW 6:14 was this morning landing sunrise earlier each day so will the visit I guess I was hoping they would show up before I went to work I guess I need to get my butt up earlier even if I don't go to work earlier

JUDY, now that eagles have been brought back from near extinction they are around in such numbers that they've become comfortable being around civilization/people. They still opt for high aeries so they're above it all, but are found even in heavily populated places. As in, NBG where people abound and the airport is close by. Our own eagles have no problem with NCTC and all the activities that go on there. I've read that more and more will be seen nesting in places such as the one you describe as their numbers increase.
Thelma how many do you think Sissy will have for Thanksgiving? Will Becky go there for Thanksgiving too and Mattie and Justin?

Please do not put out the Silver Alert for me:) I did post late last night, but, because I had re-booted my 'puter earlier, I needed to sign in and didn't realize it. Went to bed without checking it!
I am alive and well and trying to figure out how to get a package from the shop to the house. LORI ordered a sleeping bag for our Curch Closet and had it shipped here by UPS. Well, must be a new driver and doesn't know we are only open in Oct., so he dropped it off in front of shop door. Package is too big to carry under one arm while using cane with the other hand. I guess the best thing to do, would be, leave it in the shop until Gene comes back...problem solved:)

Yes, Mattie and Justin along with their mother and possibly Eagled-Eyed Sis' and Eagled-Eye's brother (Randy) and his wife. I'm not positive on that one. Randy may still be in Florida visiting their other brother(Ronnie) and his wife.
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they will be back. Randy will bring his two grandchildren. Don't quote me on any of this. There will probably be more. : )))

I am so excited about Thanksgiving guest list at GG's. ALL of our family will be there, including my granddaughter, Jillian and her boyfriend, Aaron, Jayden and his parents, Rachael and Robbie, and Rachael's sister, Jessie and baby Nevaeh. My girls are bringing some casseroles,etc. I need to think of an easy dessert.

Bill and I tried changing TG routine to eating out about 7 yrs. ago......did not suit us. Food always was lacking, and no leftovers......we only did it once!
I saw another eagle today YEAH right the street is another eagles nest in a cell phone tower at one of the parks we use to go to it is FREEDOM park Cool Beans I didn't get a picture I went to the park before I cam home for lunch and I got my 7-4 back starting next week I didn't ask for it it is just back so now I will have to get up early
