I'm home from Church and all I can said is WOW - Spidey is outdoing his welcome!

I guess we just split...

Lolly said...

Yep, we just did the big split. Hope we do not loose anyone. Spidey has been putting on a show, Jo. Not nice!

Hamburgers are on the grill. I am hungry!

Mema Jo said...

Headed to watch Cold Case

Headed to eat a hamburger! ☺

Went out the back door and heard a chorus of peepers here.

magpie said...

I might just have to go back out in the car and find some peepers for real!

Judie, I love asparagus also!

stronghunter said...

I definitely love asparagus, but I like coleslaw, too.

the itsy bitsy spidey crawled up the eagle cam

Lynne2 said...

we can't hear any peepers here yet, but I just went out front to look at my freshly soaked flower bed and i have 2 tulips ready to open!

and I smell charcoal grilled hamburgers wafting up on the southeaster breeze....

Had a nice hot tubby and now I think I'll head up to watch some mindless TV for a while. Prayers for you all and have a good night!

That is really high water Margy and I'm sure it will even get higher. Sure hope the road tonight are marked for no passage.

Lynne - may you awaken in the morning and see 2 blooming tulips!

Judie said...

Well, since the itsy bitsy spider went up eagle cam, I hope the rain will wash the little arachnid right down the rain spout. So there, Boris!

Shirley, you are welcome to join us for Cole slaw and/or asparagus anytime! BTW, George is also welcome. Oh, how is Luna?

GWU Basketball is over the the ladies and the men. Now my water polo, gymnastics, and baseball players want to know when I will be there to watch them. I'll do my best.

Jo has me confused. She said she is off to watch Cold Case but can't find. Off to watch Law & Order.

BBL

hedgie said...

Thanks for gals your kind consideration of me re: Boris.

Game time!! Hope Norma knows it is on since she didn't check in here.

Carolyn and I are venturing out tomorrow so I can get pics of high waters.

GO WVU!

stronghunter said...

Judie, coleslaw and asparagus both sound wonderful!

When I make coleslaw, I put it in a bowl and cover it with a wet paper towel and leave it in the freezer until the paper towel freezes. That gets the slaw to just the right temperature. I got the method from my mother, and was just wondering if anyone else does that.

magpie said...

Pinch me !
sick person has regained her wellness at least for now

but I DID hear the peepers from the live feed...
now that I am in bedtime mode I am going to go ahead and do it...

Hedgie: you will be amazed at the water levels! There were many pictures I couldn't get, some of the pretty rivulets....woulda made nice photos.
Saw some nice green moss, and lots of mossy stuff or green lichens on trees, looked very beautiful

Good Night Precious Pals...

T-Bird said...

I'm with you Hedgie. I miss Normabyrd when there is a game on and she's not blogging.

stronghunter said...

I do hope the sick person stays well tonight for your sake as well as hers, Margy.

I am going to have to work on the WebQuest stuff tomorrow. I don't want to have it undone when the deadline gets here.

There goes Spidey again!

hedgie said...

Stepped out to listen to the peepers, and have a GHO nearby. Nobody answering him, tho. Wish I could sound like an owl!!

Lynne2 said...

jeepers creepers NOW I hear the peepers!
All over the place...just took Daisy out for her bed time walk!

Cool pics Marge!

Lynn, just go out and HOOT!

Heading for bed, good night again!

Lolly said...

Looks like spidey is here to stay.

While working in the yard saw that my tulips are about to bloom. Think it will be another week, but the buds are there. My columbine is also about to bloom. Wanda, the columbine seeds that you sent me are growing quite well in the green house. Think I will move them outdoors next week. I planted some outside but have no sign of them. Glad I put some in pots.

Mema Jo said...

Lynn - you need to get Greg from Patauxant - he has good luck with owls!

paula eagleholic said...

Wow, is spidey still on the cam?

Mema Jo said...

Judie Cold Case was a rerun I hadn't seen. Sorry for the confusion.

stronghunter said...

Good night all. I will see you tomorrow.

paula eagleholic said...

Greg was so cool with that owl!

College kid went out with some friends up to the Ott House here in town...I slipped up to store to get some provisions...

Mema Jo said...

If this were the night for our egg to hatch I just don't know what we would do about Spidey aka Boris.

paula eagleholic said...

Gnite, Shirley, Lynne and Margy!

paula eagleholic said...

Yea, Jo, that would suck!

hedgie said...

Margy, hope your luck holds! Good night to those turning in.

Shirley, never heard of freezing the cabbage!
Judie, your calendar will really be filled if you have all of those games to attend!!

T-bird, Norma and I have fun (I think) with out rivalries!

Oh, yeah, Jo...Greg WAS phenomenal!

paula eagleholic said...

Yup, Margy, that's some high water. Saw lots of the creeks out of their banks all along Rt 15 today...and parts of the Monocacy as well. Creek at bottom of neighborhood OK so far.

Pt of Rocks will have major flooding, Monocacy will have moderate flooding. We should be OK at work, we are close to the Monocacy. Our warehouse was flooded during Agnes, and in 1976 as well. It hasn't flooded since they put a culvert under the road, from our parking lot to the field across the street.

paula eagleholic said...

Shake off and a chirp!

Lolly said...

I heard that as well, though we certainly can not see. Spidey....GO AWAY!

paula eagleholic said...

spidey on the move, belle is snoozing with head tucked in...

Lolly said...

I wanna hear an owl!

Lolly said...

Can barely make her out.

paula eagleholic said...

Heard Lib in the tree :)

Lolly said...

I think I am going to go get ready for snoozing and then give myself a manicure.

Jack and I have fun plans for tomorrow. We are going to Lightcatcher Winery for a St. Pats party. A group by the name of the Trinity River Whalers is going to be playing. We really like them, so an afternoon of drinking wine, listening to great, fun music and good food. Sounds like a winner to me....anyone else want to join the fun?

Heard a chirp, but Belle looks like she is still sleeping.

Lolly said...

Oh, knew it wasn't Belle. Did not think of Lib being close. Duh!

I am off...be back later.

Mema Jo said...

Have a really fun time tomorrow Lolly.
Wear something 'green' !

I am going to head down the hallway

Good Night and Prayers for All
Stay High and Dry! lol

(((hugs))) ♥ ♥ ♥

paula eagleholic said...

Sounds like fun Lolly. Enjoy!

Judie said...

Back to say goodnight.

Jo, not a problem, Just thought I might be in a time warp.

I think we need to send Boris a message -- get outta the nest! Take the next TRAIN outta NCTC.

Never heard of freezing Cole slaw but might give it a try next time.

Goodnight everyone. Turning my light out but leaving the night light on for others. Andy, please set the alarm for us.

Hi and goodnight eagle friends.

Boris/Spidey is making my viewing almost impossible. I almost closed the cam while I was reading not knowing who or what was blocking the view. Glad I waited a bit, I can see the eagle at about 12:00 between spidey's leg and head or tail.

The NBG eaglets are so cute! I understnad the #3 is pipping so there will soon be 3 eaglets. How wonderful.

I share the concerns here about Belle and Lib. Such a disappointment it would be if the last egg was not viable either. It is was it is. They and we have suffered through those terrible snowstorms.

It rained and rained here too. I heard the sump pump go a a few times.

My snowdrops are blooming finally and I can now see my daffodils shooting up about 2-3 inches. Can't wait to adorn my table with some fresh flowers. Just have to watch the cats.

Hope everyone has a pleasant Sunday and good health.

I'll be in and out periodically so don't forget me while I'm gone.

love u guys

Think now I will read a bit before heading to bed. Nails are now spiffy and ready for church. Working in the yard does them in. I wear gloves, but have already worked a hole into one finger and they are new!!!

Spidey is mostly gone. See parts of him still at the top.

Nite all! Sweet dreams! No dreams of spiders! ☺

Don't forget the time change!!

Costume Lady said...

Another nail biter for the Mountaineer fans! 58-60 Good game, but too many time outs!

Lolly said...

Oh, and thanks for the lullaby before heading to bed. lol I now have that tune running through my head! Nite!

Costume Lady said...

Lolly, 5 minutes in the soil and my nails look like a mechanics! Have to use a bleach solution to get stains out.
I love the feel of the soil in my hands but know I need to wear gloves.

Costume Lady said...

Well I guess it is actually 12:32 so I'm gone...

GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS

Good morning all my Eagle Buds! Looks like Belle is cleaning out the nest this morning, stretching her wings. Palmer is all alone for the moment!!

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

NBG cam is still down, but they said the third egg was in the process of hatching last night! So eggciting!!

floralgirl said...

Raining here again.
Eagle up and doing some big wing flaps to get the rain off. Took off with something from nest, leftovers, perhaps. Egg uncovered.

Eagle back-

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Flooding is pretty bad all around here. We have had a river running through our yard and the usual water in the basement, but nothing drastic. Lots of other folks around here have had it really bad!

Looks like Lib is back on Palmer now. (think it is Lib, I have a hard time telling them apart unless they are together!)

Good morning Megan!

floralgirl said...

Good morning, Sissy:)

Lot of flooding around here, too.
