Feeling better already...either your good thoughts, or I was in need of food!

Norma, are you considered in the "highlands"? NOAA just said 10-12"!

I love my crockpot, too, but it's not a large enough one to do a whole chicken, let alone a turkey! Don't recall the website address, but there is a crockpot recipe website with lots of neat ideas! I'll see if I can find it.

Lynn, I have a 7 qt. crockpot, but it doesn't have a timer on it. If I put a chicken in it on Sunday morning on low, it is chicken mush when we get back from GG visit:(
I saw a K-Mart ad that had a 7 qt. for $34...good price. Might get one. Then, I have small one (abt. 2 qts.) that we got at an auction for 50 cents (brand new) still in box!

Good Morning Everyone!!Sunny here now before more wet weather returns;>(
Sorry I've been AWOL. Had a wonderful retirement party yesterday for a great,50ish,young guy. Must have been a couple hundred people there. He & wife will be heading off to Haiti & Guatemala w/church group to build houses. They can build one for $1000, so luncheon money collected is going towards that.
Got new monitor. Boy, is it W I D E!!!!Hope it doesn't distort pics.
Gonna check Live. Havene't seen that for awhile.
