Hi all! I have really been having computer trouble with my laptop this morning. I am wondering if the Savannah link was causing it. I finally had to log off everything and then get back on. I could not blog.
Jo, I was trying to send you the Savannah link. I was so excited because I saw the eagles exchange places and one start feeding the eaglet. Really, you would have thought I had never seen it before I was so excited. Saw two eaglets, but one was not moving. The other was holding its head up saying "feed me". So cute!
Did I hear the echo of a Ragdoll? Welcome to the world's best blog family.
Hi Jim. I don't personally remember the lint, tin can war efforts as I am a youthful 65. However, I do remember things like flourless cake and a family nearby that could only afford meat/fish enough for the father, and little booklets with slots for coins. Bet the tin can crunching was great fun. Darth just said he remembers those efforts -- he's much older, of course.
Shirley, glad you got Hunter to finish ALL his homework. Have to give him credit for trying to fool a teacher LOL.
A duck on the NCTC nest? Lucky but stuuuuuupid.
BTW, I have been reluctant to say this but I think it was Wed. night I said I thought I saw Belle raise up and look under and roll an egg then settle back into the nest cup. Guess I thought it was the third egg being visible. Now I'm wondering.
Welcome Ragdoll! I think you will fit right in with the wild group. Yeah, I sometimes forget others are watching our blog. lol They must think we are crazy...well, it is what it is. And we do love newbies!! The more eyes watching and the more imput is fantastic.
"It's me again, God..." Hey, gang.....please say a prayer for our county Officer Carroll....Sheriffs' Dept. Resource Officer for Musselman High (my oldest gd's school). He was on some kind of traffic detail last night and was struck by a drunk driver, and is in critical condition.
Hi, Everyone, Here to say a quick "Howdy". Must go hit the shower and get ready to go somewhere before Hubby gets back from the bank. Fell asleep right after dinner last night, in front of the TV. Missed the Olympics--or rather, watched it through closed eyelids.
Just caught Belle & Lib doing a bit of nestorations and having a conversation at the nest. Now Belle's back on the nest again.
Haven't time to read back on the blog much right now, but will say prayers for Officer Carroll.
Gotta run--have a fantastic Saturday, and will try to get back here later tonight. :o]
I finally saw an actual exchange and a nice sweet shrill . I think it was lib that was off and Belle that came in. Just by size. I have to really study this pair. Now I can really go
My prayers are with officer Carroll. My husband is a retired RCMP and he was hit out on the freeway years ago while on duty and was off work for 6 months.
Earlier I had our cam up, the blog, up and Savannah. I started having trouble keeping our cam going, then I had the sound but the clock was not working. Weird. Then I tried to blog and could not post. Tried exiting out of everything and cold not even do that. Had to reboot completely. Will just do one cam at a time, I guess at least when I want to see Savannah.
Watching the olympics. Just looked outside. We have blue skies and sunshine and it is up to 42. However, cooler tomorrow and guess what....snow flurries. This is wild. Monday I have to get up at an ungodly hour and head to Denton to babysit. Laurel has inservice.
At 1:42 central time zone she chirped several times so I thought she may have laid an egg - just now saw 2 under her so that would pretty much confirm she did lay another
Yes I saw 2 eggs. I also watched her lay one of the others that she layed a few days ago - same sort of chirping, same sort of movement (not much - subtle, but it's not her usual posture).
Some hints for telling Lib and Belle apart - he is lighter in color, and also has white on his elbows (the bend in the wing that is near the breast when wings are tucked up next to the body)
Just talked with a friend from high school days. Her daughter committed suicide and she has custody of grandchildren. Told her to access animal cams to help entertain the young gs. She was thrilled to have another outlet for his energy.
Lynn, two people just commented at the same time that they thought Belle had laid an egg. Only one egg has been seen all morning! I only see one egg in Shirley's pic.
Hi...I just got a phone call from my grandson, Brandon and he said that at 2:33 he heard Belle making the clucking or chirping noises and then she lifted up and he saw an egg which appeared to be wet and shiny. So, from what you others have seen, it must be egg #4....He was very excited. This is the grandson who wants to work full time at NCTC:) He will be volunteering during the Bird Walk.
Good capture, Paula. Guess I can leave now. lol Been carrying my laptop around to monitor while fixing my hair and face. Need to go to the grocery store. Yep, I can multitask!☺
Lolly, it could be 4 eggs or the start of a new clutch, which is what I would be inclined to believe. I was going to say the last egg was laid last Sat, but that was the second egg. 3rd egg was Tuesday night, so this would be 4 days from the last one. I guess we will have to wait and see.
By all appearances, i.e. sleeping on the nest in mid afternoon, 3 witnesses and 2 eggs where only one was seen this morning, I'd say we have a new egg!
If not crushed by wt of snow, it's possible the other 2 formerly buried eggs may be revealed as more snow melts, & they may try to incubate those as well - but being realistic about it, my guess is all 3 of those largely snow-surrounded first 3 eggs would probably not be viable.
But the one laid today has a good chance. Very hopeful about this one!
Paula I agree. I think this is a second clutch. It has been busy here. People getting stuck on our street. Getting ready to go to Mass I think unless it is closed. We will see. Lynn sorry to hear of the Captain's accident. Prayers for his recovery. BBL
After so long...they would realize it. We have seen eagles incubate for 50 days...about that time they realize it's not gonna hatch, so they do have some sense of time...
Sound too good, Lynne:) I don't know what the Bird Walk is...I think he said it was next weekend. I'll have to go into my email and re-read what he said. My email is a nightmare, as is facebook. New computer has something shiny on the keys...looks like cheap decals. They almost glow...didn't like that. Probably why it was on sale. Still looking now:(
this was posted on the blog for Savannah and Derek yesterday...
Savannah had three eggs in her nest. Officials at the Carolina Raptor Center said Savannah removed one of the eggs from the nest because it was not viable.
Officials expect the last egg to hatch Sunday or Monday.
Another egg. Good. Now we need to hope for good weather--and maybe more eggs.
On my pictures--I think there is only one egg visible.
Just woke up from a panda nap. George was polite and waited until I woke up. I was up until after midnight and had to get up by 6:30, so the nap was necessary.
Excitement never stops on here with Lib and Belle! With so many eyes seeing the same thing and then Brandon's report - what can I say other than Congratulations to our Regal Couple! With all the HP this season who knows if it is #4 or another #1. I'll take it for sure!
Well Lib just resettled himself, and Belle started talking to him. He got up and is munching on nestovers. She's taking over the bowl. Lib off to the right
Two eggs yippee. I happen to think both are viable and both were laid since the last blizzard. I made a comment about one of them this morning and obviously we have several who saw one laid this afternoon. Please could you all keep any and all snow away form the mom and her new family.
I was looking at her actions. You know how they go into egg laying position . Her back was to me and she was in squat position and then she looked down and waited and then turned around . That is when I saw the egg and she waited and then rolled it and then scooched down on it. The waiting was for it to dry.
But when no one on any other forum reported it I thought I was nuts.
I just thought it funny that she was in the squat [position. That is what made me really look.
I have the cam up and I wish I could take video and then you could have seen what I saw .
I have to go and do some laundry now but will be checking in and out.
Since I do not know you all too well yet , I will not comment on some of what you say because you have all known each other for a long time. So please do not think I am ignoring what you are talking about I have to think about what to do for valentines day.
I was watching Carolina just before dark, got a video of the feeding for 5 minutes. I didn't see the second eaglet move at all. Video is on the EM blog, just click on my name and scroll down to find the eagletmomsters blog.
The best sign that at least there is a new egg is the fact that our Liberty didn't hesitate to incubate and got right on the egg cup.
Bev please don't refrain from commenting - that's what has made this the type of blog we all love. This isn't a 'forum' which is more formal than a 'blog' Chime right in with us and get to know us as we will get to know you . That goes for the welcomed newbies!
Was anyone watching the nest within the last 10 minutes? Looks as though there is a covering over the incubating eagle... Winds could have blow in or our other eagle may have brought it in - didn't see what happened.
Yes, Paula. I think my pictures that I took show a second eaglet in Savannah's nest, but no movement. She fed only one. Other's on Savannah's fb page thought they saw a second one too. Hopefully we are mistaken. I would LOVE to be wrong.
I think thatis just a shadow over incubating eagle . I have been watching
Pa at Valmont has spent all day in the nestbox with Ma V . I hope everything is O.K. there. I am usually an optimist so I will shake the thought from my mind.
Left over pot roast sounds good. My hubby may get left over fish sticks LOL. I am a good cook but I have been at the the cams too much this week.
I am still trying to find the FB page. I didn't realize so many eagle pages were in there. I'll go find it through Delphia's page. BTW I hope Delphia is doing well - I know she won't return until the 17th.
Bev - warmed up fish sticks the day before Valentine's just don't sound that great! But I know what you mean - I had a sub from subway tonight & hubby wanted poached eggs!
Hello again evryone! Just signed on and was skimming through posts and to my surprise, it appears Belle has laid another egg! Just wanted to make a quick comment regarding a few of the remarks I saw posted. In my opinion, it is highly doubtful that this new egg is the start of a second clutch. All the pairs that we have seen re-clutch generally take a few weeks for their "system" to reset. I think it is much more likely, however AMAZING, that this new egg represents the 4th egg in the original clutch! VERY, VERY rare! Awesome news for you all! Hope the weather settles down now and is a little less brutal for Belle and Lib! Congrats to you all. You all always remind me of soon-to-be grand parents with all your excitement, LOL!
By the way, I really hope I am wrong and this is the start of a second clutch! With this pair, nothing would surprise me! Fingers crossed!
TJ we so value your putting things together for us. I guess we will just need to 'wait & see' to be certain. Thanks for coming back again - NOW go get those little guys!
Thank you, TJ. We think this is a special pair as well. We are just waiting to see what happens, who knows! And, yes, we are MOMSTERS just waiting for a new eaglet!
We already have a name for the first eaglet and we are wanting so badly to bestow the name.
Jo, that is the facebook page. It just has not had anyone make comments. Take that back, if you click on groups it takes you where you can join the group. Also, if you click on comments by everyone you get Delphia's comment and one other. That person said watching the eagles was like watching grass grow. Her children gave the eagles ridiculous names and she thought that funny. Okay...I vote that I want nothing to do with that facebook page. Do not want to deal with that kind of comment.
Hello Everyone in Eagleland!!! I'd like to see some Olympics, but eyeballs are not happy. And they will probably prevent me from dwnlding pictures from the Park. It was a songbird and eagle convention! One eagle kept us entertained for over an hour. He perched in a tree near our bldg., then would swoop down toward the River, do some circles and perch again.Once it was so windy, he chased a garland flying south! This was after lunch. In AM a juvie eagle perched & then a hawk joined him at the end of same branch. They were extremely diplomatic! At lunchtime, a couple photographers were gazing at the nest. I stopped & it was hard to tell if any eagle in neest, but then I saw a glint of white further back. Eagle was WAY back in a tree. Gotta try to go see Apollo~~~~~
Hi all! Haven't "said" anything since last year, but have visited the nest and blog daily. After Hidey fledged, I still came daily because I missed the little screamer so much! I wanted to comment on the FB page "NCTC Eagle Cam." Nice to see Liberty and Belle being commented on, but this blog is the best place for information and friendship. When I see I've missed something happening in the nest, I come to the blog because I know I can count on someone commenting on it and keeping everyone else up to date. I appreciate you all!
Dinner is over - yea! Darth had his favorite a day early -- baked chicken. I know, I know. So many people like baked chicken. I don't. Never did. So, got that nasty business out of the way.
Do hope Belle and Lib have a viable egg. Can't say enough eagle prayers for those two.
Well, off to watch Cops. Oh, speaking of cops -- I think Bev said her hubby is retired RCMP. I attended two weeks of profiling training a couple of years ago and was partnered with a RCMP profiler. Cool guy. Always remember he said the best place to hide a body is deep in the woods where bears live.
interesting egg action today....thanks TJ for you input:). welcome to new friends....watched MD game today...ugh, watched some Olympics, took a panda nap. did dinner, leftovers...hubby gave me 2 bamboo plants today, they were in the shape of hearts....I think it is the nicest V-Day gift he has ever given me, very meaningful

Hot Stuff! Another egg at the Sycamore Palace, and another egg at the Valmont nest... I have the GHO up and NCTC of course... hope to see those two eggs at each tonight
Deputy Tom Carroll of the Berkeley County Sheriffs Office, in his mid-30's - his injuries, include a possible broken collarbone and/or shoulder injured knee injury to the hip and possible bone fragments in his neck. I do not think he was in critical condition, but these are serious injuries. The offender was caught pretty much straigtaway, needed a new ream of paper in the printer to print his record. Tom is a great guy and will surely appreciate and benefit from all of your prayers.
Welcome FuzzleMa, Ragdoll, and Mimi (whose post I must have missed in my speedreading of the blog posts) thanks for all the nice things you say about us.... and hello again to all the other newcomers. xo ☺
Bet Brandon got to see the New Egg on the Closed Circuit TV in the resources building..that is a GREAT place to watch them from...did that at Easter time in 2006....when I just plain old went for a nest visit ☺
Judie I had nearly $4,000 of car repairs in 2008...about broke every financial plan I had going at the time. But the buggy has served me pretty well since then
Margy....good evening! To answer a question....yes, Jack and I have matching jackets. When we were in Bangor,Maine we bought them at a price we could not pass up. They are great, very warm coats. Guess we are Twinkies!
Misinformation yesterday by NBC----lugers family was NOT present. They are in Georgia. Have not seen, and will not watch, vidoe. TG.
The other Georgian luger has withdrawn from the competition.
Hey, Margy---thanks for info on Tom Carroll. Initial communique from his church......still very serious, of course. Where did the incident occur? So glad they caught the driver.
Bev, neat to read about your husband being with the Royal Canadian Mountain Police... I've even been to Canada twice, Vancouver once, and Montreal and Quebec City once.....and would love to do that all over again
Lolly thanks for confirming that I was seeting Matching Jackets...☺
Lynn - Officers and reserve units were assisting with traffic detail with DOH - ice and snow removal and things like that... it occured, I think, right in front of the Lowe's and Sheetz store on Apple Harvest Drive
Whatever I did to my blog and nest cam page, has got things so out of whack I am literally getting motion sickness. I have to shut this wreck of a computer down.....so this is a one-time sign off...not pulling any Margys after this
Best wishes for all, I am done for the night. Prayers continue for all good things. Good Night and God Bless Us, Every One xo ☺ ♥
Bye Margy, wish I could win the lottery and buy you a new computer, alas I do not play the lottery. Maybe when my ship comes in(currently it is apparently lost at sea) Judie- gh is looking good, thanks for asking. Glad Rick is doing better, Hedgie.
OKay, Margy, had to google Biofreeze. Will have to get some next time I'm out. I waa having a major issue yesterday with my right shoulder and back, just too much snow shoveling for 5 days...
Glad you found that article, Megan. Trego Mountain Sanctuary is the place this past October that I was trying to remember as far as our contributions. I have book marked it... I would like to go there one day.
Hello Everyone. A big thanks to all for the Warm Welcome.
Hedgie, we do have a lot in common. Lucky you, for seeing Yanni 3 times. I am still waiting for my chance. I listen to him often.
Eagle Eye Sharon, thank you for the education on avatar.
Stronghunter, I put a picture of the humpback whale because I go whale watching every summer. I also use that pic because I have a new computer so I now have to insert my stuff from last one. I do love humpbacks. One of the many things I want to do in my life is to swim with humpback whales.
Megan, saw the Trego story. I remember them being on the list of who to call when we were looking for that info last year for someone. Sure sounds like a nice sanctuary, doesn't it?
Well, we are home from a most enjoyable evening - Mattie's birthday party at the skating rink. We all had a blast. I found out Andrew even knows the Macarena!
I found out tonight there was an NCTC Eagle Cam Facebook page. Somebody posted me something on Twitter about it.
Hey Macarena ♫♫♫...you do realize that song is now stuck in my head indefinitely... Glad Mattie had a good birthday party! Hedgie, that place does sound very nice, pretty sure I know where it is, looking now.

Eagle-Eyed: Do you think we will see a couple of eaglets?
So no one saw the duck. I heard them fly over yesterday but missed the duck.
TCB. Later
Back again.

Off to seek some inspiration for baked chicken.
I tried the Savannah link but couldn't see where to access a live cam. Think I'll try google.
Going to pick my new 'puter IF IT IS IN! Truck didn't come yesterday:( BBL
Like the natural clock, BEV.

Savannah
That link should take you right to Savannah. I tried it and it worked for me.
Prayer is going up for Officer Carroll.
Prayers for the officer, Lynn, as well as for your firend.
Two eagles. they are chatting back and forth.☺
OK, got Savannah bookmarked. Thank you, Lolly. Oh, think we'll be having bacon pasta tomorrow night or Monday. Craving it.
Lynn, heavy duty prayers for Officer Carroll. Hope the drunk is sent to prison for a gazillion years.
Both are incubating. Saw the switch, though I do not know who came and who left.????
Good, Judie.
Enjoy that Bacon Pasta. I can not have that right now. Trying to shed a few pounds and Bacon Pasta does not do the trick. lol

Lynn - That is very disturbing news - Prayers going up immediately -
Ragdoll - Welcome - come in often
Beagle - Welcome - Flocks of geese fly through the area quite frequently
BBILW Need an hour to get up/running
Lolly, I run into much trouble on the netbook if i try to open more than one or two things.
Thanks for prayers.
Bev., how cool that your hubby was RCMP! They sure looked spiffy last night! Mema Jo's hubby is retired Maryland State Police.
Ragdoll and Laura, welcome, too. Ragdoll, check my profile---we have stuff in common....and I love YANNI!!! Have seen him in concert 3 times!
did anyone see that just now. she did not just lay an egg did she.
I will post my picture on Maine later
I know I am nuts now . I am gone finally. My hubby has come in form car looking for me LOL
Just a n egg roll but it looked mighty fine
At 1:42 central time zone she chirped several times so I thought she may have laid an egg - just now saw 2 under her so that would pretty much confirm she did lay another
I missed it if she did. You saw two? She always chirps when she lays an egg. I just saw one right now.
Yes I saw 2 eggs. I also watched her lay one of the others that she layed a few days ago - same sort of chirping, same sort of movement (not much - subtle, but it's not her usual posture).
The last egg roll I just saw one. Waiting for the next.
Could not get a good look that time. Got just a glimpse of one egg.
So, we think there's another new egg?
Mimi, if you click on my name and go to the Eaglet momsters blog, I have a video of the last egg she laid
Some hints for telling Lib and Belle apart - he is lighter in color, and also has white on his elbows (the bend in the wing that is near the breast when wings are tucked up next to the body)
I have been watching Paula and have not seen anything. Two egg rolls back I saw just one egg. Was gone before that and was not here to hear chirping.
On my blog Eagle and Panda Pictures, I have added two pics of Savannah feeding an eaglet. Think I can see two, however only one was up and feeding.
Great pics Lolly, My how the eaglet has grown in just one day! So happy to hear there are 2, hope they get 3.
I have the video running on our nest...
Belle is trying to catch some zzzz's
For those of you that watch Extreme Makeover, a guy from our Carpet One store is on the show tomorrow tonight. They moved the show up from Feb 28.
Terrific pictures, Lolly. Thank you.
I thought the lighter bird was the male but it appears to be the bigger bird as well. Maybe a little research is in order.
Just talked with a friend from high school days. Her daughter committed suicide and she has custody of grandchildren. Told her to access animal cams to help entertain the young gs. She was thrilled to have another outlet for his energy.
Well, looks like Hubby's going to take me to the movies to see 'Valentines Day'.
Oops--forgive me for being a bit tardy:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MATTIE!!!! Hope it's the best one ever!!! Have a great day!
Welcome to the newbies, too--good to have you here!
Still need to read previous posts and get caught up. Maybe later, after dinner. Will "see" you guys then!
BEagle - the lighter bird is Lib. The larger eagle is the female, Belle. Female eagles are larger than the males.
Eagle up...I see 2 eggs!
Paula, did you see that roll. There might have been two eggs.
lol You answered my question. Did you get a pic? That makes 4 eggs in this clutch.
Got an email from a friend in Myrtle Beach----5" of snow there. She sounded like Lolly!! LOL! I offered to send her 4 more feet...........
Remember that Shirley saw 2 eggs yesterday morning during a roll....I think she has pics up of it.....
I put pic on EM blog of the 2 eggs!
http://eagletmomsters.blogspot.com/
Up again
Thank you Bev and Mimi for your observant posts!
Hi all,
Just checking in. Glad to see everyone has survived this week's weather.
I thought I saw two eggs as well. Yay!
If not crushed by wt of snow, it's possible the other 2 formerly buried eggs may be revealed as more snow melts, & they may try to incubate those as well - but being realistic about it, my guess is all 3 of those largely snow-surrounded first 3 eggs would probably not be viable.

Paula I agree. I think this is a second clutch. It has been busy here. People getting stuck on our street. Getting ready to go to Mass I think unless it is closed. We will see.
Lynn sorry to hear of the Captain's accident. Prayers for his recovery.
BBL
The females are 25% larger. Maybe I can catch Belle and Lib next to each other to see those elbow feathers.
There were two eggs in the nest this morning about 11:30.
I don't think the egg she laid on Tuesday is viable either...it would be a miracle for that to hatch...been left too long too often.
Doing a Margy. Jo thanks for the update on Mason.
My apologies for being ignorant, full of questions and probably a nuisance but
Would the eagles incubate an egg that is not viable?
They don't know if it's viable or not.
After so long...they would realize it. We have seen eagles incubate for 50 days...about that time they realize it's not gonna hatch, so they do have some sense of time...
Huh, another egg laid today, interesting....
Okay. Thanks.
Fifty days is a long time.
Well that woke the dogs up! Lib arrived with a fish, Belle has claimed it. Lib is outta there!
Megan, I take it you only saw one egg this morning?
Crunch Crunch...sound is excellent!
Lib just came back from the left
She just took off to the right...Lib getting down to incubate
Nice wiggle wiggle
Hi all, just catching up.
ANOTHER EGG!! Woo Hoo!!!
Happy Birthday Mattie!!
Prayers for Officer Carroll, and continued prayers for Rick (any change at all?) and prayers for the family of Judie's friend as well.
Ceil, thanks for the update...so glad they got the girl back!
Welcome Mimi and Ragdoll! And welcome back Bev, BEagle and Becky!
I'm going to need to start a new cheat sheet to remember all these new people!
Wanda, so nice to have a family "insider" at NCTC!!! What is the Bird Walk?
Steve and I are having our Valentine Dinner this evening...Rib Eye and Shrimp and salad!
Oh Lynne, enjoy, sounds delish!
Sound too good, Lynne:)
I don't know what the Bird Walk is...I think he said it was next weekend. I'll have to go into my email and re-read what he said. My email is a nightmare, as is facebook.
New computer has something shiny on the keys...looks like cheap decals. They almost glow...didn't like that. Probably why it was on sale. Still looking now:(
It was good timing to see them right next to each other. Lib is most definitely lighter in color and smaller. Both are fine looking birds.
Lib is showing a little jiggle of the hind feathers. : )
Mom up at carolina, chick in view
this was posted on the blog for Savannah and Derek yesterday...
Savannah had three eggs in her nest. Officials at the Carolina Raptor Center said Savannah removed one of the eggs from the nest because it was not viable.
Officials expect the last egg to hatch Sunday or Monday.
I would think perhaps the third egg cracked...
Hi folks,
Another egg.
Belle is back at the top of the nest
Ragdoll - my avatar is the picture of the Sycamore Palce nest tree.
Bev - our nest's time positions are the same as a natural clock.
Late dinner here... Lynne's sure sounds yummy
Egg roll
WOWSIE I now see what you all saw
Well Lib just resettled himself, and Belle started talking to him. He got up and is munching on nestovers. She's taking over the bowl. Lib off to the right
Shirley - You never need to make an excuse for taking a Panda Nap! I bet you feel better already!
More geese.
BTW, there was NO hesitation by Lib to get on the eggs.
Two eggs yippee. I happen to think both are viable and both were laid since the last blizzard. I made a comment about one of them this morning and obviously we have several who saw one laid this afternoon. Please could you all keep any and all snow away form the mom and her new family.
I like your "please", Glo. Did you near the nest hear that? You can not ignore a "please".
Geese again.
Lolly, did you mention this morning that you only saw one of Savannah's chicks moving?
I believe when Lib or Belle were placing the sticks on the left side of the egg cup, that it would help dam against the bulk of any more snow.
It looks like more snow is due on Monday and Tuesday.
so I was not seeing things.
May be wrong but....
I have the cam up and I wish I could take video and then you could have seen what I saw .
I have to go and do some laundry now but will be checking in and out.
Since I do not know you all too well yet , I will not comment on some of what you say because you have all known each other for a long time. So please do not think I am ignoring what you are talking about
I have to think about what to do for valentines day.
Egg roll.
Did ya'll see someone created a facebook page for our eagles? Maybe I should create one or leave it be?
Paula - what did FB label the page for our nest?
No, no update on my friend....having to depend on CaringBridge....
No word on Officer Carroll---hoping Margy knows status....she should be home soon.
Was anyone watching the nest within the last 10 minutes?
Looks as though there is a covering over the incubating eagle...
Winds could have blow in or our other
eagle may have brought it in - didn't see what happened.
I just have the still cam on Mema Jo but I do see what you mean.
Yes, Paula. I think my pictures that I took show a second eaglet in Savannah's nest, but no movement. She fed only one. Other's on Savannah's fb page thought they saw a second one too.
Hopefully we are mistaken. I would LOVE to be wrong.
You think it is just a shadow?
Next time there is an egg roll we'll find out.
Hey Hedgie, I am having the rest of the pot roast for dinner, hope it doesn't cause you any more weird dreams!
Jo, Look under the cam on the outdoor page and click the link there. Some girl named Pamela created a fan page, named NCTC eagle cam.
There is a facebook page. Delphia has commented on it.
Lynn sorry I said Officer Carroll was Captain. Senior moment. Did pray for the officer who was injured. The Lord knew who I meant I am sure
Hey Ceil, no worse than me calling SUGAR, 'CANDY'. LOL
Belle looks like she knows what she is doing now:)
Tell me about it. I have not let Hubby know yet. well I do have spaghetti sauce.
I am thinking I should do something special for tomorrow.LOL
Jo, in facebook "search" type nctc eagle cam
Jo, just look under the live feed cam, it's under one of the twitters.
Gotta go. Goood-bye all!
TJ we so value your putting things together for us. I guess we will just need to 'wait & see' to be certain.
Thanks for coming back again - NOW
go get those little guys!
Thank you, TJ. We think this is a special pair as well. We are just waiting to see what happens, who knows! And, yes, we are MOMSTERS just waiting for a new eaglet!
We already have a name for the first eaglet and we are wanting so badly to bestow the name.
2 eggs at Valmont. Yippee
Hubby wants me to make homemade chicken burgers LOL
I used the link, Paula under the Live Feed Cam.
Are any of us going to sign up?
I guess we could all sign up, but this is home for us! Let me know if you do.
I am off to find supper for us. We have been watching the last Lord of the Rings and it is now over.
BBL
When you search on FB - it really just gives you all the links to our still cam and live cam.
I do think it is a shadow on our nesting eagle that I at first thought is was like a fluff covering
Watching Apollo Ono at the Olympics.
Egg roll. I saw the two eggs.
Wiggle, wiggle.
I was wondering what that shadowy overlay was. It looks like mosquito netting.
I won't be signing up - it is really just a listing of events and updated by only one person. We should invite Pamela to come on over here.
With your comment Lolly we may wish to forget the invite
Beagle - I am glad your eyes are about like mine as to the mosquito netting!
maybe there is a bit of fog in the area.
I am watching the Olympics also.
I don't see anything unusual...egg roll awhile ago.
I'm not joining it.
Gonna go watch some olympics...
Hi Fuzzle!
I remember you from last June.
Welcome back.
interesting egg action today....thanks TJ for you input:). welcome to new friends....watched MD game today...ugh, watched some Olympics, took a panda nap. did dinner, leftovers...hubby gave me 2 bamboo plants today, they were in the shape of hearts....I think it is the nicest V-Day gift he has ever given me, very meaningful
Hi Judie,
Have any more bodies to hide?
ah gee, Judie, thanks, will try to remember that bit of info:)
Hi Mits,
What a thoughtful gift your hubby gave you.

and Fuzzle has a bear, look up Judy....off to watch the O's, Lynn prayers big time for your friends.
Yes Mema Jo. I'm old enough to be my son's grandma but I can still see a little.
With those high winds, the shadow doesn't move. Could be something splashed on the cam?
it was Shirley, totally unexpected, he knows how I have been feeling lately.
Hmmm...Judie is repeating herself...might be a clue...
Winds are about 10 to 15 mph here now, of course probably a little stronger up in the sycamore.
That's a sweet gift, Mits:)
Mits - You have a keeper! ♥
Lolly Thanks so much for the Sycamore Heart - Love it!
FuzzleMa - Good to hear from you! Come back on often.. It is getting more exciting as each day passes.
I think I missed some nest movement!
Was catching some tv with hubby.
that is so funny Judie. Something my husband would tell you. they like to pull legs.
Well I made my husband his chicken burgers instead of leftover fish sticks LOL
Loving the Olympics so afar. Love the speed skating and moguls
Ma ma V back on her 2 eggs
Mits, what a sweet hubby. He deserves a kiss or two.
Okay, I don't know what happened but I did NOT have a halfsheimer's moment. Maybe the blog cop got jittery because of Fuzzle's bear?
Hi Megan, is the gh okay now?
Hot Stuff!
Another egg at the Sycamore Palace, and another egg at the Valmont nest...
I have the GHO up and NCTC of course...
hope to see those two eggs at each tonight
Good Evening everyone...xo
Deputy Tom Carroll of the Berkeley County Sheriffs Office, in his mid-30's -
his injuries, include a possible broken collarbone and/or shoulder
injured knee
injury to the hip
and possible bone fragments in his neck.
I do not think he was in critical condition, but these are serious injuries.
The offender was caught pretty much straigtaway, needed a new ream of paper in the printer to print his record.
Tom is a great guy and will surely appreciate and benefit from all of your prayers.
Welcome home from your work day, Margy
Welcome FuzzleMa, Ragdoll, and Mimi (whose post I must have missed in my speedreading of the blog posts)
thanks for all the nice things you say about us....
and hello again to all the other newcomers.
xo ☺
Shirley
if I was a bird, I would go for the yellow yarn !
Nice that you boosted Hunter through his homework ♥
Bet Brandon got to see the New Egg on the Closed Circuit TV in the resources building..that is a GREAT place to watch them from...did that at Easter time in 2006....when I just plain old went for a nest visit ☺
Margy - What gift?
Mits got a cool gift from jubby
Story from Herald Mail about local animal rehab Trego Mountain Sanctuary
Wow what happened to our link Megan
Or I am getting senile?
I hit some stupid button up top and everything all akimbo on here for me...hate that !
Oh brother I guess I WAS speed reading..maybe I better delete that post Jo...
going to do that now before I make everyone else think they are senile
xo
OK!
Mits
I sure like the sound of that Valentine's Day Gift from Jubby ♥
Jo tell Ed about it...maybe he will do that too ☺
And I was making notes while I was reading the posts....
maybe I should call off work tomorrow, can't afford to get mixed up in there
It's there, Margy, I deleted my first post...
Judie
I had nearly $4,000 of car repairs in 2008...about broke every financial plan I had going at the time.
But the buggy has served me pretty well since then
Margy....good evening! To answer a question....yes, Jack and I have matching jackets. When we were in Bangor,Maine we bought them at a price we could not pass up. They are great, very warm coats. Guess we are Twinkies!
Glad you're home Margy. Catch up then catch some sleep.
Thanks for the update on Officer Carroll. Continued prayers for a speedy and complete recovery.
Good to hear the officer is not critical.
He will be in our prayers
I see Megan...
Hey, can I remind you about Biofreeze, you and Norma that is!
I have rediscovered it big time this week ☺
Rick is greatly improved this evening. 3 antibiotics and Momster/Dadster prayers are working!!! Thank you all.
Lynn -
Officers and reserve units were assisting with traffic detail with DOH - ice and snow removal and things like that...
it occured, I think, right in front of the Lowe's and Sheetz store on Apple Harvest Drive
Great Lynn, we will not let up!
That's good news Lynn ((♥ hugs ))
Whatever I did to my blog and nest cam page, has got things so out of whack I am literally getting motion sickness.
I have to shut this wreck of a computer down.....so this is a one-time sign off...not pulling any Margys after this
Best wishes for all, I am done for the night. Prayers continue for all good things.
Good Night and
God Bless Us, Every One
xo ☺ ♥
I lied...I'm back..
I just saw the the second egg at Valmont, maybe the parent is still moving around in that nest now...
okay bye before I barf
xo
Luge always makes me uneasy. Going 90 miles per hour or thereabouts lying on that little sled. Tough.
Nite Margy! (((HUGS)))
Bye Margy.
Prayers for Tom Carroll.
Bye Margy, wish I could win the lottery and buy you a new computer, alas I do not play the lottery. Maybe when my ship comes in(currently it is apparently lost at sea)
Judie- gh is looking good, thanks for asking.
Glad Rick is doing better, Hedgie.
G'night, Margy. Hope you get a full nights' rest!
I am reading to try to catch up on the day.
I think I am going to close down and read. Now that is a different idea.
I'll be back to say good night, but will say it now to those who are heading that way.
Nite! Sweet dreams!
Sharon - we looked at it - more like a forum just giving times and actions.
A few of us said Not Interested. We'll stick to the blog.
Very glad to hear that the evening was
a fun time for all! Very happy everyone was there for Mattie Jane's special day. loL ♥
And my goodness, is Belle trying to lay a dozen eggs?
Hey Macarena ♫♫♫...you do realize that song is now stuck in my head indefinitely...
Glad Mattie had a good birthday party!
Hedgie, that place does sound very nice, pretty sure I know where it is, looking now.
Sharon Were you here when it was decided that we have a new egg? Laid this afternoon.
