also no confirmation on NZ site of the 4th, sounds like someone leaked it to the press, I can see some fanatics camping outside the gates of the zoo now.
not really Paula, all pandas born outside of China, must return to their country when they turn 2, Tai got a two and a half year extension, looks like Mei got a 6 month extension.

Hi all. Just realized today that the live camera is back. I've been watching Lily for a few days, and that got me to Facebook, which I joined. My goodness my life won't be my own for a while....
Have been laying low to try to beat the allergies that are bugging me. One panda nap after the other! Woke up a while ago and cleaned up the kitchen and started the dishwasher. Didn't go to school last night. Just didn't feel well enough--too clogged up. My eyes are tearing up like crazy now, so can't see very well to drive. Sent the teacher an e-mail, and stayed home. Need a Tuesday Dr. appt.! Haven't had allergies this bad in decades! Will have to let the doctor sort it out. MUST get in to see her Tuesday! Can't miss another class.
Megan, sure am sorry that Monday was such a bummer! Glad your shop vac did the trick. Hope the rest of the week is much better!

For the first time this eagle nesting season the female adult spent the night in their nest at Norfolk Botanical Garden. Both adults were ovserved at 1:00am arriving at the nest by Rose, a devoted viewer. The male left shortly thereafter, but the female remained in the nest until about 6:35. This is usually an indication that the female is very close to laying her first egg of the breeding season.
Must go shower and get ready for the day. I now have two appointments. Need to figure out what happend to the contact lens that disappeared. Is it still in my eye? I do not know.

Nice to see sun at Finland----nest MT again. Congrats to NBG---hope they get a full clutch! And hope we do, too---but wouldn't mind if they waited until nest week----weather doesn't sound good for the end of week/weekend.
crate training was not hard, he is already accustomed to it, had to learn at an early age, so they could do blood draws and BP:), He was a fast learner

Doctor's appointment should not be too big of a deal. But since it is in the middle of the day, it makes it hard to go to work.
