looks like the 2 yr.old Female Giant Panda, Mei Lan, from Atlanta, is going back on the plane to China with Tai, according to Channel 9...no confirmation on Atlanta site, just says she is leaving February 2010.

Hi, Everyone!
Have been laying low to try to beat the allergies that are bugging me. One panda nap after the other! Woke up a while ago and cleaned up the kitchen and started the dishwasher.
Didn't go to school last night. Just didn't feel well enough--too clogged up. My eyes are tearing up like crazy now, so can't see very well to drive. Sent the teacher an e-mail, and stayed home. Need a Tuesday Dr. appt.! Haven't had allergies this bad in decades! Will have to let the doctor sort it out. MUST get in to see her Tuesday! Can't miss another class.
Megan, sure am sorry that Monday was such a bummer! Glad your shop vac did the trick. Hope the rest of the week is much better!

Finishing up a few grades this morning. I have to have everything ready by 9:00, then off to my doctor's appointment. All grades are submitted by computer, so I can do it from home.

Doctor's appointment should not be too big of a deal. But since it is in the middle of the day, it makes it hard to go to work.

NBG nest is back online....with this report...
For the first time this eagle nesting season the female adult spent the night in their nest at Norfolk Botanical Garden. Both adults were ovserved at 1:00am arriving at the nest by Rose, a devoted viewer. The male left shortly thereafter, but the female remained in the nest until about 6:35. This is usually an indication that the female is very close to laying her first egg of the breeding season.

It does look cold there, though not as frigid as some other days, though I expect that the bright sunshine is not supplying much warmth.
Must go shower and get ready for the day. I now have two appointments. Need to figure out what happend to the contact lens that disappeared. Is it still in my eye? I do not know.

crate training was not hard, he is already accustomed to it, had to learn at an early age, so they could do blood draws and BP:), He was a fast learner

Good Morning everyone. Pretty site at the nest and neighbor called to tell me to look out the window, the sun is shining.Yep where we are we have not seen a ray of it for 2 weeks or so. Think its time to run quick errands, have a good lunch and head to the dam. Its 12 degrees but it is sunny. I can deal with that finally. Enjoy your day.
