Oh, a student asked me what to expect on the exams: what I talked about in class - duh!

Megan, I haven't tried to join in the Lily blog but don't like the PApix blog. I haven't tried to join because am uncomfortable with some of their comments. Other night, I saw where someone used inappropriate language, and got told quickly about the rules. In fact, I think the blog master deleted the person.
That's the thing about chat rooms, Judie, no one knows who anybody is. And trolls get in one and just start posting things to offend and annoy.

Lynn when you go onto the Pix cam site, they is another way to get into bear cam....I go thru WE or Pix, whatever I can get into....well changed my username, and used different email, and got chat up...ans sorry to say, some of these people just do not take the time to read the info on the page or other posts...

Megan, it's the same however I access it---have tried several ways/sites.
Ceil, I can take most anything in the way of meds. Think I will try good ol' Benadryl and put up with the sleepiness! It will have to work better than the non-drowsy antihistamine is! Luckily, antibiotic has apparently kicked the infection part----everything is clear!
Pop-up blockers
A common cause of Flash movies failing to display is the presence of pop-up/ad blocker software that specifically targets Flash content.
But, never mind, if you can see the PIX PA cam, that must not be the problem.

Hi everyone.
Back from dinner. Went out and the food was really yummy. Almost always is if someone else prepares it.
BUT, the really weird thing is that when we left the restaurant, there was this really, really bright light in the sky. When I looked up, it was this shiny silvery thing with green balls. It seemed a lot closer than 80,000 miles.
So sorry for those having trouble with the Lily cam. Ads are off/on but she's sleeping.

Wanda, I mentioned the Saturday trip to my children. I will get in touch with them tomorrow and ask again. Rus and Rebecca sounded interested. They're in Arlington, so I would have to drive up there and meet them. Don't know about Kathryn and Hunter. If the kids join me, I think we would just drive up there and meet you.
It would be fun to travel with everyone in the Eagle Express though, and if my guys don't go, I will think about that as long there is room.
I will have Monday off, which is nice.

Dana called. Eye doctor says that somehow she has scratched her eye, the tissue is torn, and she is on antibiotic ointmt. and drops. He told her he didn't think she should travel, certainly not use field glasses, so she will not be able to go on the trip Sat. And Nilla is sick with severe bronchitis.
So healing prayers for both of those gals.

Lynn, I use Firefox and I think I just went to Firefox.com and followed instructions. I can still use IE as well, but I like Firefox better. Some things are a little different but easy to use. They'll even copy your favorites for you, which on Firefox they are called "bookmarks"

Haiti is a horrible mess......worst quake in 200 yrs. Fairfax County Fire&Rescue disaster team gearing up to leave. Glad that SIL hasn't joined that team; worrisome enough that he's on Haz Mat team.
Praying with you, Sharon, for safety for Andrew and his shipmates. They say that there are 15 cruise ships in the Caribbean. Nothing said about tsunami on news just now, so assume that means the danger time has passed!!
