Thanks for alerting us about NBG cam being delayed until next Wed. I kept checking and hoping I would find it today. Something to look forward to..

stronghunter said...

That is a cute little pup, Jo.

floralgirl said...

NBG should be active THIS Weds. they hope....

Mema Jo said...

I misunderstood which Wed it was.
Thanks Megan - That is even better...

Hi Shirley.. Guess What! I found all the Roman Numerals! WHoo Hoo!

floralgirl said...

That's cause I posted such confusing info....

magpie said...

Shirley -
Yes, we always refer to it as
9-1-1...never know.
And after THE 9/11, I never refer to our number as that.

One time a lady called for an ambulance, she was not feeling well, and said she thought here electric lights were out..
electrolytes...
Bless her heart, I knew what she meant.
I have some other funnies and might post them later. If I can remember them.

magpie said...

I figured it out Megan because I read all the comments at once....I saw LAST FRIDAY talking about NEXT WEDNESDAY....sometimes it pays to be away all day and read everything at once.

magpie said...

Sure hope Wanda did not leave that door open again to hustle up some smoke...know she must have really enjoyed that CPR routine...

magpie said...

Mits
Thanks for all the really informative posts about the Pandas...very interesting

stronghunter said...

They really are there, aren't they, Jo?

I once had a mother who got upset because I told her son he couldn't wear a Co-ed Naked shirt at school. She later came to apologize because she didn't know "co-ed" meant men and women together until her husband explained it to her. I would be very suspicious of any word I did not understand that was next to the word "naked." Then there is the matter of the picture and caption on the back of the shirt.

magpie said...

So maybe Dex will get out in the stroller this week, that would be nice

Oh, what have I missed....
hmmm.
Paula have you gotten your Feb/March issue of Birds and Blooms? Bluebirds Welcome Spring

Also, have you discovered the Find the Acorn game?
I finally did it for the first time and sent in my entry...

Judie said...

I, II, III, IV, V, VI: that's Latin for good evening, everyone. I found the Roman numerals on my keyboard. Funny thing, I never noticed them before.

Been a busy and long day with the final prep for tomorrow's first day of classes for me. Also, wasn't a great day as I had a headache and felt a bit crummy. No need for concern. Probably just my "unconscious" wish that tomorrow would come next week.

I missed a bunch of fun stuff today. Hope everyone is feeling better (Lynn) and all critters are home and accounted for (Lowreeda). Andy, hope class is good tonight. And, hope everyone else is safe and toasty inside.

Oh, did stop by a few critter cams. 3 deer at PixPA, one at Snowman's, Lily and Diego asleep (but not together).

This will be an early goodnight. Early day tomorrow. Turning my light off but leaving the night light on for others.

Pleasant eagle dreams!

magpie said...

I have a forgetful friend, who renews my Birds and Blooms for my birthday in July, then renews it again for Christmas! So for awhile, I get two copies....
I think that just happened...and if so, anyone interested in that second copy?

magpie said...

Best wishes that it all goes smoothly Tuesday, Judie...
Good Night, Sleep Sweetly
(( hugs for tomorrow ♥ ))

floralgirl said...

Oohhh... me me me

magpie said...

Time to fix dinner, think I will whip up a batch of cold cereal and bananas
I never know anymore when it is morning or evening....

Costume Lady said...

I just got mine too, Margy. Beautiful bluebird on front must be a Mountain Bluebird. Haven't had time to open it.

Costume Lady said...

MARGY, I am not very good at CPR, but I have become very acomplished at mouth to mouth!;)

magpie said...

Oh Judie, loved your Roman greetings, I just got out of the bath, think I might put on a toga...
maybe Wanda is looking for a sarong to go with that new knee and hip

stronghunter said...

Have a good day, tomorrow, Judie.

I will not be far behind you. I wore out my brain today.

Costume Lady said...

LOL, Margy, a sarong would be great to show off my new "HIP MOVES";) Whooo Hooo does it feel good...like it did when I was 25!

Costume Lady said...

JUDIE, look forward to stories of your days and students.
Shirley, do so enjoy your accounts of your students:)

magpie said...

tiger print sarong no doubt!

Good Night almost soon Shirley....
Am sure you moved some mountains today! xoxo

magpie said...

anyone need my recipe for cold cereal:
blueberry flavored Special K, banana and 2% milk, put into bowl, let cereal sop up the milk for two minutes, get large spoon, and pig out!
Calcium, potassium, anti-oxidants, and fiber

Costume Lady said...

Megan, go with us Saturday and you can get your copy of BIRDS AND BLOOMS:) You need to get away for a few hours, come with us!

stronghunter said...

And I enjoy your smoking hot stories, too, Wanda.

Debs' sister Dianne wanted this shared:

If you guys could share this I would like that.

This is the latest song I have been listening too lately. Allan Jackson (Sissy's Song) It covers many emotions at this time. You can copy paste the items below to watch the song also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCvgXw-Bh04

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1eLe52EH8k

Why did she have to go
So young I just don't know why
Things happen half the time
Without reason without rhyme
Lovely, sweet young woman
Daughter, wife and mother
Makes no sense to me
I just have to believe

She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me

Loved ones she left behind
Just trying to survive
And understand the why
Feeling so lost inside
Anger shot straight at God
Then asking for His love
Empty with disbelief
Just hoping that maybe

She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me

It's hard to say goodbye
Her picture in my mind
Will always be of times I'll cherish
And I won't cry 'cause

She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me
Don't worry 'bout me
Don`t worry 'bout me

floralgirl said...

Well, Wanda, I'm not sure about Saturday. I'll let you know real soon if I can go. Dealing with a few issues here, hope to have them fixed before Sat.

magpie said...

We had a good CPR Save last week at work, co-worker helped a 15 year old revive his mother...she is in guarded but stable condition...
great when it works out that way...

Costume Lady said...

SHIRLEY, I do tend to exaggerate a bit...but there is never a dull moment in the Wright's house:)

magpie said...

Thank you, Lynn,
that's beautiful...

stronghunter said...

What? Wanda exaggerate?

Costume Lady said...

Wonderful that Deb's sister keeps in touch. Helps to keep her memory alive. Really loved Deb, but didn't know I would miss her like a member of my own family. But then, we are FAMILY, aren't we?
Thanks for sharing that Lynn;)

Costume Lady said...

LOL, Shirley:)

magpie said...

Wanda,
Friend in New York thinks one set of pawprints are squirrel, and the little ones are either, cat (which I have seen out there) or,

Mema Jo said...

Lynn I am so glad Dianne sent that to us....... Sure is a keeper.
I need to copy and past over into my
Very Special File! Thanks Again!

Mema Jo said...

Margy - I sure hope your NY friend didn't mean BOB CAT ! I just don't think the pepper spray suggested or the eagle cane would be of much help.
I think you would need to Run Like The Devil !

stronghunter said...

Very beautiful, Lynn. Thanks for sharing.

floralgirl said...

Unless it has rabies or babies, I think that bobcat would run first...

Mema Jo said...

I went back to the archives today to Deb's Blogs - I so miss her pictures.

Costume Lady said...

Gene thought possible kitty cat too, but went with raccoon...I think racoons have longer toes than what your photo shows.
Love looking for animal tracks after a light snow:)

Mema Jo said...

It's good to see so many familiar faces as the Friends of Lily's Cam...

magpie said...

YouTube a little choppy for me, I tried another link which worked for me but it takes a minute to open it up

Alan Jackson's Sissy's Song

Mema Jo said...

Thanks for the comment Megan Now I won't worry so much about Margy's Journeys into Nature

floralgirl said...

I worry more about people than animals. Not to say wild animals can't be dangerous, but usually they will avoid humans as much as possible.

magpie said...

kitty cat, Wanda...but hard to tell what lurks after dark...'cause I am never out there then

I like Megan's perspective too, and I do try to be careful...
just really find solace out there

Mema Jo said...

Yes Margy, Alan Jackson's singing Sissy's Song is the best. So calming with such beautiful words....
That's our Deb!

Mema Jo said...

Taking a break........ BBILW

magpie said...

Well I have eaten up enough of the blog space tonight, going to retire, as Deb used so say, with some reading before sleep.
Still wish I had asked her what she was reading...

xox Good Night Everyone, early morning again for me.
Hope ailments and aches and pains lessen during the night.
God Bless Us, Every One
xo ☺ ♥

Lynne2 said...

MEGAN.....I'd love for you to email me that TV picture....I really want to print one out!!! I wish you could realize what a great shot that is!!!

Lynne2 said...

Good night Margy....good nite all, I am heading up too. Prayers and good night's sleep for everyone!

stronghunter said...

I clicked on the blog and Lynne's owl started flying.

Time for me to fly upstairs. I will see you tomorrow.

floralgirl said...

OK, Lynne, tomorrow I''ll do that, and find the other shots of the tvs I took. Nite all...

hedgie said...

I'm with you, Megan. And don't think an eagle cane would be too effective against a bad guy! I think Margy should be armed when she goes into the "outback".
Wanda, you are digging yourself in deeper and deeper with the innuendo! ROFLMBO!!!!
Hope your day goes well tomorrow, Judie. Hard to get back in the saddle after a mini-vacation.
Yes, it is a lovely song.....and how about it being called Sissy's Song?
Maybe she'll get off the TRAIN!
Okay, Margy...make that WHOLE milk, and I'll eat some of your cereal!

Mema Jo said...

Hedgie - do you feel like your meds are kicking in?

hedgie said...

Good night to all of you turning in. Rest sweetly.

Lynne2 said...

thanks Megan!

Shirley, I STILL don't see my owl flying but I'm glad you do!

Anyone not getting Birds and Blooms who'd like to? I got a thing for a gift subscription for TEN DOLLARS!! Let me know....

REALLY going to bed now!

Costume Lady said...

Hope you have restful sleep, Lynn:)

Costume Lady said...

Good Night, Shirley, Megan, Lynne,??? You all are dropping off like flies. Sleep Well, All.

hedgie said...

Jo, I think the antibiotics and the Mucinex are doing THEIR job.....but the decongestants and antihistamines don't seem to be doing much! If I could bottle and sell the junk, I'd be rich!!! I've gone through almost two big boxes of tissues in 5 days.

Mema Jo said...

Would a shot of prednisone do any good?

Wanda so glad your hip and knee are good to go!

Costume Lady said...

Margy has already left us. Forgot she has to get up at 4:15am:( Or is it 5:14am? I am about to start giggling, I better settle down or go to bed. I do that when I am sleepy or happy:) Maybe Doc gave me laughing gas when he did my body parts today:):) Giggled at GGs and she wanted to know what on earth was wrong with me...just relief to have knee and hip done. Three months of going up and down the steps fairly easily! Whoo hoo!

Costume Lady said...

Oh, Lynn...glad you are still up.
Dr. called my hip a name I have never heard and have forgotten it already. Do you know?

Mema Jo said...

Well I wish I had something funny to say to make your giggle meaningful!
lol I'll try to think of something!

Costume Lady said...

JO...just got an idea! Bring Ed on the Conowingo Road Trip and we can celebrate his B'Day together. How many family members were going to be at the party?
We still have some room:)

Costume Lady said...

Jo, if you could say you would go with us, I would giggle very loudly!

I'm going to have to say GOOD NIGHT while I still can. 'Puter is trying to cut me off:(
Need to read an email before it shuts down for good.

SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL

Mema Jo said...

About a dozen family member or so....
The "funny" thing is that it is being celebrated at brunch somewhere in Columbia, Md on SUNDAY.

I may request a seat for me on Saturday. You really have some
available? I have to figure out my oxygen - should have enough tanks....
M T B R Later............

Mema Jo said...

Do I hear a Giggle

hedgie said...

TeeHee, as Dana would say!!!
Wanda, don't know what you mean about a name.....for the hip? for the disorder? for the treatment?
Jo, don't think Pred would help this! Cutting off my head would!

Mema Jo said...

Lynn Just try to blow it all out!

I may head down the hall shortly..
I hope the sun shines tomorrow and the wind stays away like it did today!

Nighty-night All! Early work tomorrow in the land of NO internet~~bah, humbug!

Lolly said...

Sounds like a good time on here tonight. So, Wanda did mouth to mouth yesterday and today she is giggling. mmmmmm??????

Watched Castle then played some sudoku on the computer. Also, spent time looking for the Roman Num keys. Where did you find them, been looking and looking!
(Only kidding!!!!!!!)

Lolly said...

Night all! Sweet dreams!

Ms Bookworm said...

Howdy, Gang!
Made it home from school. Turned in my homework about the reference books. We had an assignment in class answering questions, and we had to USE those reference books to do it. There's a set of those books in the classroom, so no expense yet. But you're right, Lynn, some of them are expensive if new! Need to think this out carefully how I'm going to do this. Found out there's an organization for medical transcriptionists that you can join, and if you do, you can get computer updates of all those reference books as they come out. Might do it that way. Would need to get an external memory for my computer, though. Not enough room for all that on here! Hmmmmm.....

Ms Bookworm said...

Speaking of computers, mine's being a pain again. Wants to do more updates to Microsoft programs, and when I delay that, it keeps doing 'crash dumps'. Have to restart the computer. Aargh! I'm not too fond of Microsoft right now.
Guess this, too, shall pass, though.

Judie, hope your day at school goes extremely well for you! Know it's tough getting back into the routine after a bit of a vacation. Will definitely be looking forward to stories about your students, though. You and Shirley tell some very interesting tales! (BTW, those Roman numeral keys are a pain to locate, aren't they?! ;o])

Really enjoyed the Alan Jackson song, 'Sissy'! Absolutely beautiful.

Well, better go watch some mindless TV and unwind. Turning on my nightlight, so nobody trips in the dark, and setting the eye scanner so it's ready to go. The porch light is automatic.
Prayers said for everyone, especially those not feeling 100% right now. Prayers for a speedy recovery! Have a good night's sleep all snug and cozy, and have sweet dreams! Will talk to you in the morning. Love you guys! :o]

Beautiful song. Fits Deb to a t. Except should say went up to heaven on osprey and eagle wings. She already had her own wings. She was an earth angel.

floralgirl said...

Hello Glo, Sissy, Ceil and Sharon. I see Norma already exercised her way out of here...
I love the Lily cam. Thanks, Mits:)
Hubby ain't so thrilled with it. He say it may answer the age old question tho...does a bear #*%@ in the woods...

Megan I always wondered that and maybe now we will find out. LOL

paula eagleholic said...

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

One more day until new cam day! YAY!

I reported this on Facebook so I need to here. I dumped a large glass of tea into my laptop last night and believe it or not, I am typing on it right now. Can't believe it didn't ruin it. God is so good! The keyboard I attach to it to type with is waterproof and it still works but I just knew the laptop would be fried!

wvgal_dana said...

Good Morning ALL in Eagleland.

Working on doctors appt. right eye still tearing. Can't continue to have a "dripping eye".

Have this thing set on "largest" so to type and read still difficult.

Costume Lady said...

Ceil, what a beautiful thing to say about DEB!
Since Debs passing, I have thought what a wonderful legacy she has left for her sisters & family...What kind of legacy will I be leaving for my daughters & grandchildren? I would like it to be more than just a good mother & grandmother. Need to work on that!

Costume Lady said...

DANA, I have an eye whick tends to water, at times, so annoying. Can't wear makeup when that happens. My face is so colorless without some makeup that it disappears without it;)
It has done this most of my adult life.

Are you going with us Saturday?

Costume Lady said...

PAULA, are you going with us Saturday? Capt. Gene needs a navigator!

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Wanda, that is the best legacy ever to leave!!!!! You da bomb!!! You and Gene will leave a wonderful legacy of love and kindness behind you!!!!

Costume Lady said...

Megan, A BEAR does $#*^ IN THE WOODS! We saw it in some wooded property we were looking at a few years ago. Actuall, it was not in the woods, it was on the road leading to the woods...so maybe not!;)

Costume Lady said...

Oh, thank you, SISSY...that brings tears to my eyes!

floralgirl said...

Well, WAnda, I can't say that any better, so I agree with Sissy. (Even though she took George far away, deep into WV...)

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Megan, I think you need some therapy to help you get over that!!!!

Costume Lady said...

Lynn, hope this morning finds you much better:)
The hip bone that the doctor injected yesterday (I believe) was called Trochanter??
Knee and hip feel really good today! Praise the Lord and pass the Cortisone. LOL

Costume Lady said...

I love George. I will always remember Sissy (among other things) for her decorations she put on George once she got him to the hotel room. Her eagle beads, Tom's eagle beads and a feather on his head! Laughed hysterically at that. Keep it in my favorites;)

floralgirl said...

Oh really??... is that what you think?
Does cortisone help with arthritis?

Costume Lady said...

That evening was SO MUCH FUN! I hope we can do it again next Open House:) Well, the whole day was fun, but the evening was the icing on the cake!

Costume Lady said...

JO will have a hard time topping that Raffle prize...Wooden Eagles aren't that easy to find!

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Lolly said...

Good morning! Life has changed. First thing I went to this morning was Lily. Can not believe how close that cam is to her. When she left for a short bit last night her face was right on the cam.

Wanda, my first thought was being a great wife, mother, grandmother is the best legacy that you can leave. You will leave a fantastic legacy MANY years from now.

Lolly said...

Oh, wow! Glad you mentioned BWE. Looks like she is getting ready! Too early!!!!!

Lolly said...

Going to get beautiful this morning. Have an appointment at the Beauty shop. lol Jack says, so you are going to get your hair fixed to work in the yard, huh? Guess so!

Good Tuesday "Lotto" Morning to All!

Mits said...

hedgie said...

Good morning, dear friends.
Oh-oh----Lolly is going to leave us for a BEAR!!!!
Agree with all of the other comments, Wanda: your legacy of love is the best you can leave! Yes, it's called the greater trocanter----part of the upper femur at the hip joint. He probably said that you have trocanteric bursitis.
Norma, don't think any of us but you are retired state workers!!
Sharon, so glad that your laptop survived!!!

Mits said...

eagle came back to Maine doing nestorations

Mits said...

how are you feeling Lynn?

Lynne2 said...

Lily is awake!

Good morning everyone!

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

What a face! Love watching Lily!

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Do we have to do the ads with Lily or is there another way?

floralgirl said...

Think we're stuck with the ads.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

What a great shot. Snout right on the camera!

Lolly said...

Lily is awake and stirring.

hedgie said...

Goodness, Sissy.....your county's school calendar is going to be a real mess!!! With the stupid state law about end of term date limits, how are those kids EVER going to complete the school year??????

Lynne2 said...

these ads are just annoying

Lynne2 said...

bear sneeze

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Well, I have to turn down the sound for Lily cause the buzzing makes it hard to hear the doc's voice but then the ad comes up and the sound is loud!

Lolly said...

Leaving now to get beautiful.

Have a great day! Keep on monitoring Lily. Can you imagine how great it would be to be watching when she gives birth? Wow!

BBL

floralgirl said...

Yeah, that full screen Sparticus ad is new, and really annoying. Blocks the whole cam

hedgie said...

About the same, Mits, thanks.
I still can't get Lily's cam to play....very disappointing.

Mema Jo said...

BWE back again
Don't think it will be a lot longer - at least not the end of the month.
She is very pretty sitting in that egg well.

I'll be back in a while........

hedgie said...

Megan, is your avatar a carved eagle? Can't quite make it out! Sure don't know why we can't enlarge these avatars!! I've even saved them and opened in viewer and still too small! ARGH!

floralgirl said...

Yes, Lynn. I put a picture on my blog- whatever. also Lynne, the tv pictures are on there, too.

Lynne2 said...

Thanks for putting the TV pix on Megan...I love the one on the pole, too!

Sharon, what do you mean you can't hear the Doc's voice over the buzzing....what doc?? I hear buzzing and occasional bear snorting but no voices....

hedgie said...

Wouldn't you think that the extreme cold weather would delay the bio clock in the "local" eagles' schedule? It would make more sense that eggs would be later than usual, rather than earlier.....but BWE sure looks entrenched.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Lynne2, when I am working/ transcribing, that is when I can't hear the doc's voice!

hedgie said...

Lynne, Sissy and Sharon do medical transcription---they are listening to drs. dictations.

hedgie said...

Megan, thanks!!! Love your eagle----did you get him for Christmas???? He looks nice there in the corner!

floralgirl said...

Yes, one of Santas elves delivered him....

hedgie said...

Cool!! Can't believe you didn't tell us!!!! You have a special Santa!!

paula eagleholic said...

Howdy, all...internet was down for awhile...

Think our egg laying will be a week later than last year is my guess...

paula eagleholic said...

Any word on NBG???

floralgirl said...

Nothing new. Think it will still be tomorrow at the earliest.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Yard is full of robins!

paula eagleholic said...

Thanks, Megan..finally found your message from last night.

floralgirl said...

I have robins all over my yard too. They are in the holly trees. The mockingbirds are going nuts.

OK thanks Sharon and Lynn....boy I sure wish I had the $$ to take the classes for medical transcription...I think I'd love doing that!

Lynn, hope you are feeling better....I know what you mean about the tissues. My nose and Steve's nose have been running since THANKSGIVING!!! I have never bought so many boxes of tissue in my life!

Daisy, Brother Cat (aka Freakshow in a Fur Jumpsuit) and I just took and hour long walk and playtime. I took some video I'll try to post later. We saw some Bluebirds!! I'm hopeful for another nest this year that DOESN'T end up like the last one. Also saw a yellow bellied sapsucker! Got a good one of the bluebird, not so easy with crazy dog on leash trying to chase crazy cat is on conducive to good picture taking! And Daisy sniffed out the rear leg of some small animal!

Lily is up and grooming.

Lily is really stirring around. The chat thinks something is up.

Boy, I am really getting sick of that Spartacus ad.

Lolly said...

Oh, I hate to leave Lily, but I really need to get outside.

Yell, if something starts to happen.

I have been watching Lily for quite awhile. Their chat board moves too fast! I see Sharon and from PA Woods I see old Yell_dog.........

I get NO ads......everyone else seems to. I sign in thru WildEarth.TV and so do others I am sure.
I use my sign on as for all WildEarth sites...... ??

for some reason it will not let me sign into the chat, I already have signed up for the hornby site last year, so it keeps telling me email is already there, but still will not let me in

floralgirl said...

The chat doesn't work for me.

Mits said...

I go thru WE and somestimes PIX, sometimes ads sometimes not, they are only 30 seconds, guess someone needs to put out the money

Mits said...

sometimes I get the logger ad....I don't need to chat....

BTW talked to Annie and she says everything is normal in the Kalis household...normal meaning crazy, so glad it is all back to normal, thanks for all the prayers....

Mits said...

God Bless you, Lily...at least I hope that was a sneeze

Mema Jo said...

Mits I didn't think it was going to accept my sign on but then all of a sudden after clicking Sign On the form appeared and it went through. I can see what others are saying but with 275 chatters - it is too fast for me.

I am assuming that Lily is going to birth those cubs just like out panda births. Plop! There it is!

Mema Jo said...

Great news from Annie! She and Kevin and the rest of your family really had a scare there with Annie. I just can't help smiling when I think of the photo you sent of her in the hospital. LITTLE
SMILEY!

Mema Jo said...

I meant Maggie
not Annie

I need my panda nap !!

Mits said...

yep, think that is the way it will happen, since I'm already signed up to WE did not think it would be a problem, but like with all the chat rooms ...too fast and not very much info, people talking over each other.

Mits said...

lol...I knew who you meant:)

Working in the yard. Just planted 80 tulip bulbs. It is a couple weeks late for this area, but I am more worried about the yuk I planted them in.

Had to come in to check on Lily. Had to laugh out loud, someone on the chat said Tiger Woods is the father. Just giggled again!

Okay back out to the yard. Rain coming. Want to do what I can when I can.
