Have been laying low today, and lurking some, trying to get caught up with what's happening. Have gotten more laundry done, and cleaned house a bit, too. It's been raining here still, hard rain at times. Still have an itchy, irritated, tickly throat from school last night. Have been drinking hot liquids and soup to try to help it. Seems to work pretty well.

Re: Bear Cam~~ I read yesterday that because of the volume of watchers they had to temporarily remove some sites, like gifts, so more people could engage. They did mention the 2 T-Shirts. After listening to the other video on facebook (the one off to the side) I would say there are two different cubs crying. My cub was not as vocal as the other video and I did catch it at the moment of birth...when the squeals are the loudest. Two cubs.
Very tiring (mentally) day! So glad you all are here for me always! Heading down the hallway. Big b-day bash tomorrow at noon for hubby. It will really be fun! Can't wait to show them the Lily videos

GOOD MORNING SHARON & THELMA... I have been listening to and recorded some cub sounds this morning and I now believe there is only one cub. I also read that the cub is about 9 inches long and weighs about 3/4 of a pound...a lot larger than we thought (someone said the cubs were the size of walnuts) So, it shouldn't be too hard to spot BEARLY, if and when Lily decides to turn over or leave the den:)

We are leaving soon for Denton and Joseph's ball game. Did not plan to go this weekend, but yesterday Jack found Joseph's team uniform in the back of the van. So, it is washed and ready to go. Have to get there early!
Jack just heard the cub for the first time. He said "Sounds like he was with us at dinner last night." This is a tiny restaurant, only 6 tables, and there was a baby in an infant seat crying most of the time.
This is actually history in the making. Wonder if they will change the books for schools. Now to show what really happens with the bear during wintertime?

I wonder how many hours are between panda twins I think it was Atlanta's last cub that they thought just maybe there were 2.. and they told us how many hours to wait before they said no, only 1.
Talk about cute videos. On Lily's fb page, up at the top there is a tab for videos. There is a video of Lily and her brothers in their den when they were 5 weeks old. It is precious!

I'm afraid I can't give you an answer about two cubs or one on your video...my clunker ears, plus my YouTubes are still starting and stopping...a lot.

After listening to the other video on facebook (the one off to the side) I would say there are two different cubs crying. My cub was not as vocal as the other video and I did catch it at the moment of birth...when the squeals are the loudest. Two cubs.
I guess we will know for sure tomorrow:) At any rate, it was awsome to be able to watch and listen as the birth happened:)

and why am I up??? The baby cub is crying!!! Such precious sound! Don't think we'll get another look so soon as mom is protecting him from the cold winter.

I have been listening to and recorded some cub sounds this morning and I now believe there is only one cub.
I also read that the cub is about 9 inches long and weighs about 3/4 of a pound...a lot larger than we thought (someone said the cubs were the size of walnuts) So, it shouldn't be too hard to spot BEARLY, if and when Lily decides to turn over or leave the den:)

Jack just heard the cub for the first time. He said "Sounds like he was with us at dinner last night." This is a tiny restaurant, only 6 tables, and there was a baby in an infant seat crying most of the time.
Is that snow or fog at the nest? Looks like fog.
This is actually history in the making. Wonder if they will change the books for schools. Now to show what really happens with the bear during wintertime?
