Good morning everyone. Gosh I guess I missed the royal pair and I am up early too. I leave the pop up open overnight now so just flip on the monitor when I wake up. That was about 6:30 my time but empty nest. Blog is up and going though. Hope its a good day for everyone. We are having a gorgeous string of weather here but I think its about to come to an end the next couple of days. Dex will miss his chariot rides. He loves them. Sits by the back door about mid morning now and talks to me with that little muffled kind of bark that means "lets go". It is such a good time for both of us. My neighbor says he might have to put some skis on the wheels for winter. Dex needs his stroll :-)

when I first get up it takes awhile for the eyes to wake up too, and that on top of the gauzy view of the nest at dawn, sometimes I wonder if I am really seeing the eagles or not...☺

Good morning! Shame on me for not getting Open House pictures up before now. But I did want to share!
I am heading out in a little while for my retreat weekend. I am driving and have Laurel and two friends riding with me. Will be back Sunday afternoon. No need for a Silver alert!
I am sure it is going to be a great weekend, but I HATE missing the TCU game tomorrow evening. Will be on the phone, calling home, to get updates. Have my purple on, GO FROGS!
I am leaving happy since I saw our royal pair yesterday and shared the viewing with Paula. Always better with a friend.

Heard an interesting (amazing) 911 call last night........woman suddenly gave birth at home to a full-term baby. She didn't know she was pregnant. Duh! Medics found that baby was perfectly fine.
