I don't know about Margy's 911 call, but I had my own 911 call yesterday. I was trying to call my doctor in Winchester, and accidently hit the 911 number. I felt so stupid:(

CRS - I could have thought it was you and it was someone else...Sorry for the gaffe if so.
We get 9-1-1 calls sort of like this sometimes. Simply amazing. But many of the rest, are just heartbreaking.

Just put Hidey's showing off pic on Blog and 2 other sets--Fauna & Flora and the PRP eagle nest. Probably the last pics I will get before they fledge.
She makes me so nervous now when she starts flapping facing the outside of the nest!
Haven't had Live cam on for a couple days. See that page has changed & no Pop Up cam.
Maybe Hidey will clean the lens w/all that action near the cam!

Megan to get rid of deer. I can't remember (their was another mix too). Person said just 1 gallon of milk with 1 gallon of water and spray on veggies and flowers.

Kidd and Lola look so good. Love that pair of Osprey at Milford, Conn. they still have one egg left to hatch. Getting a look at the 3 chicks lol
I see they do have some "blue" in the nest again this year.
I do not see the 3rd egg at Kentucky wonder if they chucked it.
Thanks, Dana- I've heard them all, not gonna spray my plants with raw eggs or milk tho, have some success with hot pepper spray. Honestly the best remedy here is electric fence and a shotgun.

I am sorry to pass this along, but the youngest of the Hilton Head Osprey chicks has failed to survive. You can view their blog, and also Lisa at BWO has a posting on the Twitter link.
Not sure, no clear explanation of what has happened. The chick, may be removed by the parents, or it may be left in the nest.
Right now the cam is temporarily off-line I viewed it earlier this morning, it may have been last evening's view, chick was still in the nest.

Sometimes I'll watch the triplets at Duke Gardens. They have a Tiny in the nest who is a spunky thing.
I took the pics of our 'LITTLE BEAUTY' when she was up close & 'LOOKING COOL'---with a feather on her beak--to the fitness center yesterday!---EVERYONE LOVED OUR LITTLE GAL!! ho!----(i know--we don't know her sex--but that is a wonderful thing---she/he can be either one & no one can correct us!! ho!
Norma grocery day went well on Tuesday. Yesterday went to the Arthritis Class in pool. He is losing his oxygen level no matter what he does. Hoping for answers from test on May 29 and June 10th. See his pulmonary dr. on June 10th to tell us about the test he ran.
Lori how old is your bulldog?
Lori, the youngest eaglet in 2006 we named Spunky! That year we had Spunky, Ms. InBetween and Big Boy. As a matter of fact, the winter after that I was in the hospital and received flowers from our 3 eaglets. So cool!
LORI, just to repeat what Sharon said earlier...Our Nest Visit is on SATURDAY 5-23-09. Didn't want you to show up there tomorrow and have no one there:) Look forward to meeting you and showing you our FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD;)

Dana, GeeGee had that problem when she had pneumonia a few years ago. She has been taking Potassium pills ever since. I THINK that's what they are for.

Yes Lori he is going to be having test. Thank you Lori for adding him to your prayer list. Prayer is the ultimate! He is on oxygen level 2 they might need to raise it. Dr. does not know what is going on. He said we'll see by the test if things have gotten worse. If they find blood clots that day. He will go into hospital right away like he did the last time. Then on Coumadin rest of his life. Which we are hoping IS NOT the case. Don't want him on Coumadin rest of his life. He bleeds too easy at times now. He was on it once for blood clots but they was finally able to get him off of it. They said if he gets them again on for life.
Wanda Ed already takes Potassium pill prescribed by doctor every other day along with his Lasix pill.

They were just moving the Kentucky Cam all around. Of course you had to keep refreshing. Show outside the nest a piece of egg shell. Showed the cam. I am wondering if they were looking for the whole
3rd egg that hasn't hatched.
