Hi, everyone! Here I am, showing up late again today. Have been SO busy this morning! Calif. has a special election today, so had to go and vote. The phone hasn't stopped, either! Need to catch up on the blog, too. GA-GIRL, I did see that you're looking for a deer & rabbit repellant. I don't have the problem where I live, but have heard of a good remedy. Will post it for you shortly... Thank God that John-John is better! Prayers for all who need some healing! Say a prayer for me for tomorrow morning-- I have an appt. to check out South Coast College-- it's close to home, and they have a course to learn medical transcription. Sharon, thanks for the info! E-mailed a few schools, and the phone's jumping off the hook! Oops-- load of wash is done. BBIALW. Have a great afternoon! :o]
I have some really loud finch babies out here following a parent around for food. They are so funny and unrelenting. So glad Andrew was not like that with me! :)
I sure wish I could do something like that, Andrea, Sissy and Sharon....if there was only a way---change my name maybe?? I would only need the transcription process training....sure don't need terminology, A&P, etc. Sure have all of that. had to laugh yesterday when you all mentioned Dr. Lee...I think it's a shame that someone who has lived in this country for as long as he has can't speak better English than he does! Don't get me started!!!
I think that Hidey must be a very lonely eaglet....queen/king of the roost doesn't matter much when there's no competition! I bet (s)he sits there and wonders...why can't I fly? why can't I go somewhere?....poor Hidey.
Thanks MS BOOKWORM.. keep you in my prayers and will keep my fingers crossed for you too.. I almost got into transcription too.. a string of events happened about that same time and got side tracked.. never picked it back up.. I keep thinking I am to old to learn new tricks...my o my,,( I sound like my husband)
OK, another load of wash started, so have a chance to do this. GA-GIRL, here you go: Deer Repellant/Rabbit Repellant-- 5 eggs, thoroughly beaten, so no lumps; 1 cup milk, buttermilk, or yogurt; 2 Tbsp. hot sauce; 1 teasp. liquid dish soap; 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil; Optional: 15 drops Cinnamon oil; Optional: 2 teasp. finely crushed garlic. Whip this all up thoroughly in a blender, so there are no 'lumps' to clog your spray bottle. Apply every 3 wks., or after rain, sprinkling, or snow showers. I like that it is organic if you use 'green' dish soap. Sounds like it would really work, too-- I sure wouldn't eat anything coated with it! Recipe says that deer and rabbits SMELL before they eat, so that's probably why this works. Let me know what happens! :o}
GA-GIRL, I totally know what you mean! I actually got accepted to Cal State Fullerton after my AA, but never went there. My parents started their own business, and I helped them out instead. Then got a different job, got married, and had our daughter, Jen, in the course of about 1 1/2 years. Phew! Seemed like everything happened at once! I believe that everything happens for a reason, though, and wouldn't change a minute of it!
WOW.. thanks Ms Bookworm.. that really doesnt sound too tasty. but, I would have never thought that a deer would eat all those thorns either. I will give this a try. thanks again
Ms Bookworm. I have only a few regrets that I didnt better myself and still do things that I would love to do...be a little more adventureous..I just dont do it.. my daughter is always telling me to do what I would like to..you dont live but once...
Hi ya.....got to the beach about an hour ago...easy drive no traffic...took some Advil and put my rib brace on, so I was comfortable during the drive....BTW got a msg from my zoo boss, IT is doing some rebooting stuff, so don't be surprised if panda cams go down again
Mits, glad you made good time in relative comfort! And you got the puter hooked up just fine!! Knew you would. How did you find everything? In good shape, I hope. You are NOT to knock yourself out getting ready for the weekend!!! Thanks for that info about the cams....it might allay some anxiety!!
I feel like I'm watching one of those reality murder shows where they blur out the face of the victim. Hidey seems to know where to place the food. Doesn't want us to see the carnage.
Time to eat...need some fuel....even tho' I think I'm done "working" for the day....sure can't do much at any one time.....but guess I'm like the turtle...slow and steady.... I'm in countdown mode...26 days til Mom and Sis arrive....!
My mother uses Ms Bookworm's receipe to keep the varmints away from her flowers and veggies. It does work, BUT, you MUST repeat the spraying if it rains!! Mom forgets sometimes or is not able to and that is when the varmints have their picnic.
Good evening...Everyone. Mits - glad you arrived safely at the Beach. Sent you a message...if you have a chance. xo I'll be off the Blog for a bit...but not the computer.
I'll check back with you friends, in a little bit.
I see Hidey picking for leftovers now, but unless I've miscounted the weeks since hatching, it's too early for the parents to be forcing him to fledge....
Well, I'm not sure how far along Hidey is in feeding himself either.
Also, when there are multiple chicks, the young usually have to pounce on their food and mantle; but I haven't seen any of that behavior from Hidey... Maybe that's what the parents are trying to bring out, since he will need it when he leaves the nest.
If he gets hungry enough, he might start to show that behavior.
Hi folks. I have been watching dear Hidey for some time now and did not want to 'crash' your blog...but I am sooo getting nervous with her/him being so close to the edge and am wondering when we are expecting Hidey to fledge...last I think I saw on this blog was in about 1 - 2 weeks. Also for the first time this evening am hearing Hidey 'chirp'...sounds so lonely...ok I am an emotional wreck over this darling thing...again, did not want to crash what seems to be a really tight blog site...but just wanted some first hand information from those of you I consider to be 'experts'...I catch the site when I can during the working day during confercence calls...keeps me sane ...or at least when Hidey is not winging away towards the edge! Feedback on when fledge is expected is appreciated!
I am really glad you are making the trip T-Bird. Looking forward to seeing friends on Saturday. I got a variety of herbal anti-insect things today, with natural oils, and also, some Deep Woods "Off." And I will have enough for everyone I think, just for your information. In case anyone forgets it, or if you just want to try something different.
Bozzett, there is no such thing as crashing our blog. We are tight but with open arms. We welcome anybody that wants to join us. It still is probably going to be 2 weeks or so before Hidey fledges.
I was thinking earlier today about Hidey being lonely. Don't know if she would get lonely because she hasn't known anything else. Not like when there are other siblings and the first 2 fledge and leave the third. Also have to remind myself almost daily that they don't have human emotions, at least that is what the experts say! :) I forget that a lot!
hi Bozzett....I havent been here long myself. Believe me everyone here will make you welcomed..they are the greatest and very smart about these birds. They each can fill you to the brim with knowledge about these darlings..WELCOME!!
LOL, Margy...I can see it all now; Margy greets our visitors with a HUG AND A SPRAY OF INSECT REPELLENT! ROFLMBO. You are so special, Margy, I love you:):)
OK so...Mom and Dad just came by with second course of dinner...and our little Hidey seems now to be VERY talkative and protective of whatever has been brought...even snapped at mom/dad when got too close to whatever they just brought...boy...you stop watching the site for a few days and alot happens to this baby...so guess we shall be seeing fledge come pretty soon right?
GA-GIRL...glad you found the photos. I thought with so many new friends on here, a photo with names might be appreciated. Later on, I will find a photo with about 30 of us on it and put names to faces. That should help even more:)
OK...just read all the lovely comments and welcomes! Much appreciated...lord 2 more weeks of watching this dear thing grow more and dancing around the disco ....oh me...not sure my old heart can take it! I really appreciate the welcome...have wanted to say hi before but was a bit shy to do so....so thanks alot for the welcome...and i will watch as much as my workday permits...i keep the pop up cam up during the day at work ...and so am not on blogs too much but love to read when i can to see what the 'family' is up to...:)
Bozzett, you mentioned dancing around the nest...that reminds me of a video that our Paula made of last year's eaglets dancing around the nest. If I can find it, you will love it! Somebody help?? On Paula's blog?
Bedord is down south...Cross Junction is north of Winchester on the road to Berkeley Springs WV...about 15 miles n of Winchester...and about 26 miles south of Berkeley Springs...off of Rte 522...lots of apple orchards...and cows and no stop lights :)
Three eaglets last year, 3 eggs that didn't hatch the year before and the first year we watched there were 3 eaglets, so just having one in the nest this year is strange for us.
Oh...wow...I cant imagine seeing 3 of these darlings...wow...I am just tickled pink I was given this site...by my neighbor who teaches in Winchester public school system..her kindergarten class is watching Hidey and her/his progress :)
Hidey is obviously going to fledge within the next couple of weeks. Will this moment be recorded in some sort of accessible archive? Or will only those lucky few who are watching in real time be able to see this?
SORRY, I can't find Paula's video of the dancing eaglets. Hope she reads this when she gets home and can direct you to the site or, if we say PLEEEASE, she may give us a little blue link;)
So I understand...I am also watching the LOON Cam in Minnesota but they seem to have alot of technical difficulties...and I really dont have alot of time to spend ....and keeping Hidey up on pop-up is about all I can muster...lord...i dont know if i could take watching many more...get so attached to the darlings...like a 'mother hen'...:) anyway...is Saturday when you all are meeting at the site?
I have made plans with my daughter for Saturday...she lives in Charles Town ...let me see if she thinks we can shift things around and maybe can get over your way...I would love to see this in person...and we HAVE to get our tomatoes in or we are going to be out of luck this summer! :)...way too wet to get them in last weekend...so not sure...but I sure will try...and if not...really hope you all have a great time...i have done the Eagle ride in Romney in the fall and that is beautiful too...
I remember in 2006 that I was so nervous about getting on the blog. There weren't many comments then and some threads had no comments. I don't really know what I thought would happen if I posted but I finally got up the nerve to do it and have not shut up since! :)
Ok dear feathered friend watchers...this 'newbie' is going to shut down...i did my profile update in google as i had to get a user id to even join this motley crew...:) so will check in with you all tomorrow...nite nite and later to all.
Tom's niece used to tell his dad she "pissed" a jug full, of course that meant fished a jug full!! We got the biggest kick out of that. She is in her 30s now! Time flies for sure.
Going back to the couch, or bed, or something. "See" ya'll in the morning lite.
HawkLady I am sure someone will capture the fledge and it will be on YouTube before Hidey lands!! Paula, our resident videographer, is really good at that stuff!
Oops, sorry I misspelled BOZZETT---my mind was on too many things at once! Jim, we've seen Hidey do a good bit of mantling....(s)he does it very well!!
Hawklady, I think that NCTC tapes the action, but not sure whether they have anyone going back through the tapes to find a particular moment....Paula will know when she gets back on and will post her answer! Thelma, for some crazy reason I thought that you and the Double S's all grew up together and that you would have known their dad....duh! My misunderstanding! Tell Buddy we won't talk about him!!!!
Okay, T-bird...gotcha'!! Have a good night. And Sissy, please get to feeling better....even if you aren't going to be with us, don't want you sick for your lake weekend!
Thank you, T-bird. I sent an email to my supervisors today to wish them Happy Medical Transcriptionists Week and she said I must have read her mind. She was just writing an email to send out to the team.
Chrissy reports that after a long hiatus and concern for Angus's whereabouts all day at the Loch of the Lowe's nest, he showed up with a big Rainbow Trout, and mother and baby got some good eatin' done. Osprey wardens think the third egg is "still hatching." MTBR.
Good Evening wishes, all. Beautiful clear and cool night here. I hope some of you saw Moonie and the two planets this morning...tomorrow, more of the same, but Moonie ootches closer to bright Venus. East.
Another temblor in LA, felt in surrounding areas including the airport...no damage, no injuries reported yet. It was rated 4.1, compared the the original "shock" of 4.7. Nephew out there reports no action at his office building.
I bet there will be several more aftershocks....Jim and Andrea....hold on tight!! Mits will be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf....what a life! Speaking of which...Candy, we are missing you!! Along with Red, Indiana Dave, Paulleo, and all others who have not checked in lately! Prayers for all of you if you are in need.
Hello all...what's with all the tremor activity in Cal? I want to say thank-you for remembering me in your prayers earlier today. 3 hrs. later got a call from my doctor to schedule an MRI. That was awesome fast as it took a week for them to listen to me and once you guys started praying for me I get a call. The pain has been bearable today also. What a crew of believers and nice people! I am impressed.
Good to see you back, Vick37 Glad to hear of the positive news today...We're all about Eagles and birds and pandas here, but we're all about each other too. ♥
Pardon my manners...I have just now caught up on the Blog since I bailed out earier today. Mits spread the good news about baby at Loch of the Lowe's getting some chow !
Wanda - youtube disable my dancing video because of the music. I'll have to find it on a cd somewhere (I backed it up from my computer) and put it on my website.
daughter was watching the webcam earlier, said some people came by to see the nest in a car. Saw flashlights. Is the nest easy to see from the road? Has anyone here been to see it?
good shows tonight....no wine on the deck, Paula....as a matter of fact chairs were in my living room, managing office called last week to see if it was ok for them to power wash balcony, they cleaned my chairs and put them inside, they are back out for now, will bring them in next week before I come home, they have to put some finishing touches on the balcony, nice do see the green mildew gone

You are so welcome Andrea. Good luck with it all!
I have some really loud finch babies out here following a parent around for food. They are so funny and unrelenting. So glad Andrew was not like that with me! :)
Oh, wait a minute, maybe he was! :)
Don't know whether Hidey has been fed or not, but (s)he's not making enough noise to let the folks know if he's really hungry!!!
I sure wish I could do something like that, Andrea, Sissy and Sharon....if there was only a way---change my name maybe?? Glad (s)he decided to settle down in the middle of the nest....wind picking up.
The closer Hidey gets to fledging the less she will get fed if I remember right. The parents cut down on feeding to encourage fledging.
Back to work, bbl.
GA-Girl, you are never too old to learn new tricks or to be reminded of the old ones!
OK, another load of wash started, so have a chance to do this. GA-GIRL, here you go: Deer Repellant/Rabbit Repellant-- 5 eggs, thoroughly beaten, so no lumps; 1 cup milk, buttermilk, or yogurt; 2 Tbsp. hot sauce; 1 teasp. liquid dish soap; 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil; Optional: 15 drops Cinnamon oil; Optional: 2 teasp. finely crushed garlic. Looks like Hidey's getting rested up for the next round of 'fly-hopping', so think I'll take the opportunity to get some lunch. BBIALW. :o)
DANA, check out Ms Bookworm.. she has a recipe for deer repellant.
Ms Bookworm. I have only a few regrets that I didnt better myself and still do things that I would love to do...be a little more adventureous..I just dont do it.. my daughter is always telling me to do what I would like to..you dont live but once...
I haven't seen Hidey spread her wings in a while...I can't believe how big s/he's getting!!!
Finally got around to starting to clean up the leaves on the far side of the house...and discovered that my pussy willow tree is dead...drats!
Hi ya.....got to the beach about an hour ago...easy drive no traffic...took some Advil and put my rib brace on, so I was comfortable during the drive....BTW got a msg from my zoo boss, IT is doing some rebooting stuff, so don't be surprised if panda cams go down again
I downloaded IE8 2 weeks ago,, don't see much difference
Well you are now officially a Beach Bum - at least for the long weekend!
Hope you found everything in tact.
I have had a beautiful afternoon with daughters and my gson. Now it is Meatball Tuesday and you know who is here for dinner - 4 yr old Alexis.
I'll return after Dinner and when company leaves.....
Mits:
Where are the panda cams?
Aimeecat, I hate to break it to you but you are hooked! :)
There are panda cams at National Zoo in DC, Zoo Atlanta, San Diego and Memphis zoos.
Sharon:
I'm afraid you are right! :-)
Thanks for the info on the pandas!
Hidey's back looks like a lobster when she is mantling.
I think we have officially had a food drop. Everybody can stop worrying now.
hello my eagle momsters and dadsters
I figure I'd better say hi before we meet at the nest. You might forget who I am. : )
Well, T-Bird, it is about daggone time you showing up here. Where have you been? :)
what are the bets on when hidey willl fledge?
I've been around eagle-eyed sharon. : )
Thelma, so glad that you are coming Sat.!! And good to see you here...where've you been for the last week or so??? Missed you!
I feel like I'm watching one of those reality murder shows where they blur out the face of the victim. Hidey seems to know where to place the food. Doesn't want us to see the carnage.
Hello Lynn-good to see you too.
Wow! It just got a big snoot full of meat.
Time to eat...need some fuel....even tho' I think I'm done "working" for the day....sure can't do much at any one time.....but guess I'm like the turtle...slow and steady....
I'm in countdown mode...26 days til Mom and Sis arrive....!
THELMA, so glad you are coming for our visit! Are you coming with Sharon or is Sharon coming with you?
Hello Wanda. I think I am coming with Sharon. Can't wait to see you.
I have posted some photos that Mary Margret took at a nest visit. They are on my WILD AND WONDERFUL. I can't remember the date???
I'm going with you, right eagle-eyed?!
My mother uses Ms Bookworm's receipe to keep the varmints away from her flowers and veggies. It does work, BUT, you MUST repeat the spraying if it rains!! Mom forgets sometimes or is not able to and that is when the varmints have their picnic.
VICK37..prayers on the way. hope you get to feeling better.
bob: another vote for you
That visit was Feb. 26th, Wanda! Wow, that first shot she got is great!! Nice labeling!! How'd you do that???
Four baby finches out here now. Right up in the parent's face. It is so funny. Parent flew off, all 4 followed, parent came back, all 4came back!
good pics wanda
I love the way you put the names with everyone.
Me, you and Mattie are going together. :)
what a parent eagle-eyed
Has anybody heard anything from Nilla lately?
I don't know how Alvin is going to get those jaws off this roof.
thanks costume lady.. we are going to make it up.. I was just telling my husband about it.. he said maybe we should double it!!!
I wish I was there to see alvin.
thanks for the pictures Wanda. gives me an idea of who I 'talk' to everyday.... love the flower shots..
i like it when Hidey gets close enough to snuggle.. ahhhhh
Good evening...Everyone.
Mits - glad you arrived safely at the Beach. Sent you a message...if you have a chance.

Jim
GA Girl, I love the idea of Hidey being close enough to snuggle. Hello Magpie
Hello Jim, I haven't seen either parent feed Hidey today.
I saw a parent in the nest around 1:30 and that was it.
Parent did a food drop a little while ago and Hidey fed herself.
there are a couple of eagles on the nest at BWE now.

Well, I'm not sure how far along Hidey is in feeding himself either.

Thelma, Sharon and Miss Mattie, Hooray! I love our nest visits!
Lynn, dear, thank you so much for remembering the date of that nest visit. Gene and I were driving ourselves crazy trying to remember!:)Brain Freeze;)
hello bozzett-I was asking earlier when everyone thought Hidey would fledge. I'm hoping for June the 6th.
I love our visits too!
hi Bozzett....I havent been here long myself. Believe me everyone here will make you welcomed..they are the greatest and very smart about these birds. They each can fill you to the brim with knowledge about these darlings..WELCOME!!
Hey T-bird, why June 6??
Yeah, who are those experts eagle eye?
Parent in the nest again, with food! YEAH! Everybody there now.
I meant June 5th
AHHHH..HIDEY HAS COMPANY

WOW..DID I SEE AGGRESSION???? LITTLE SWEETUMS????
I HATE MY HOME COMPUTER...IT IS SOO S L O W
OK...just read all the lovely comments and welcomes! Much appreciated...lord 2 more weeks of watching this dear thing grow more and dancing around the disco ....oh me...not sure my old heart can take it! I really appreciate the welcome...have wanted to say hi before but was a bit shy to do so....so thanks alot for the welcome...and i will watch as much as my workday permits...i keep the pop up cam up during the day at work ...and so am not on blogs too much but love to read when i can to see what the 'family' is up to...:)
Two weeks to fledging sounds like a likely time from what I am seeing from Hidey's progress.
hello Thelma and Buddy:)
BTW...I am in Cross Junction north of Winchester VA so am almost a 'neighbor' of the cam site.
all our fav CBS shows are season finales tonight:)
Bozzett, how far is cross junction from bedford, va?
Bozzett, you mentioned dancing around the nest...that reminds me of a video that our Paula made of last year's eaglets dancing around the nest. If I can find it, you will love it! Somebody help?? On Paula's blog?

OK I've had enough of this computer tonight. will pick up where I leave off tomorrow..see ya in the daylight..good night all!!!
Ga-Girl signing off
Bozzett, why don't you come to the nest with us this weekend? We would love to meet you and show you the lovely sycamore tree!
later ga girl
How many eaglets in last year's nest?
Oh what a wonderful invitation...but unfortunately I have made plans for the weekend...when are you all planning on being there?
buddy isn't making the visit this weekend
Three eaglets last year, 3 eggs that didn't hatch the year before and the first year we watched there were 3 eaglets, so just having one in the nest this year is strange for us.
I have to be quiet and not talk about it in front of him. : )
We will be at NCTC most of the day in the Eagle Express, thanks to Wanda and Gene. Then we will meet at the Clarion for dinner.
one more thing..I WANT TO LIVE IN WV.. well maybe at least visit. I just looked it up on MapQuest..10hr 45 min.. straight driving... ughhh
gone again
Oh...wow...I cant imagine seeing 3 of these darlings...wow...I am just tickled pink I was given this site...by my neighbor who teaches in Winchester public school system..her kindergarten class is watching Hidey and her/his progress :)
Hidey is obviously going to fledge within the next couple of weeks. Will this moment be recorded in some sort of accessible archive? Or will only those lucky few who are watching in real time be able to see this?
WV is the best place to live in the world GA-Girl. Ofcourse, I may be a little bias.
Saturday for this?
Bozzett, there are lots of cams in lots of places, eagle cams, panda cams, osprey cams, stork cams, hummingbird cams, everywhere are cam cams!
We will be meeting in the BLUE parking lot (closest one to the commons bldg.) at appx. 10am.
yes, saturday, bozzett
Yes, Bozzett, this Saturday, May 23.
can you come?
Bozzett, I have two daughters that live in or near Winchester and a granddaughter who works in Berkeley Springs. Small world:)
I wonder what Hidey is thinking standing there on the edge and looking out over Shepherdstown?
I have often thought that he is maping out his route for a take-off and landing place:)
Good evening eagle buds!!
In the immortal words of my Daddy,
:I would have to spend 6 weeks in the May Clinic Intensive Care Unit to get well enough to die!!"
This stuff is hanging on for dear life, wish it would hurry and run its course. Just started antibiotics yesterday, so maybe tomorrow will be better.
Pretty soon our crowd on here will be thinning out...this is our favorite TV viewing night.
MAYO CLINIC!
Hello eagle-eye's sissy. I'm so sorry you are so sick. Your Dad sounds like a smart farter. : )
Bozzett, it is the neatest thing I have every experienced seeing Liberty and Belle flying up to that nest.
did you me father, Thelma.....lol?:)
Sorry you are still feeling bad, Sissy:( Are you resting as much as you should? Probably not.
yeah, what did I say MITS? : )
go look...roflmbo
Thelma...ROTFLMBO!!!!!
No MITS, I meant farter. That sounds like something he would say.
Daddy was a smart farter too!
I remember in 2006 that I was so nervous about getting on the blog. There weren't many comments then and some threads had no comments. I don't really know what I thought would happen if I posted but I finally got up the nerve to do it and have not shut up since! :)
that's funny eagle eye-your right you never shut up
my bad, was thinking of something else
Ok dear feathered friend watchers...this 'newbie' is going to shut down...i did my profile update in google as i had to get a user id to even join this motley crew...:) so will check in with you all tomorrow...nite nite and later to all.
No, she is right Mits, my dad was a smart farter for sure.
Yes, sister o mine, Mayo Clinic, sorry about the typo!
later bozzett
My Dad use to get my daughter (Butterfly Mama-Karla) to say "I'M a smart girl Pop-Pop", but, of course it came out "Fart girl". LOL
Welcome Bozzett, we are tickled to have you with us!
Great chatting with you, Bozzett. See you tomorrow:)
Tom's niece used to tell his dad she "pissed" a jug full, of course that meant fished a jug full!! We got the biggest kick out of that. She is in her 30s now! Time flies for sure.
Going back to the couch, or bed, or something. "See" ya'll in the morning lite.
later sissy
hope you feel better
No answer to my question earlier: will Hidey's moment of fledging be captured for us all to see? I hope so!
Okay T-Bird, you did provide the LOL for the evening, and then added to by several others...
bbl xo ♥
God Bless Us, Every One...
Really Magpie, it was inspired by Sharon and Bev's dad. He was quite a fellow. I sure do miss hime.
HawkLady I am sure someone will capture the fledge and it will be on YouTube before Hidey lands!! Paula, our resident videographer, is really good at that stuff!
Really gone this time!
Now Bossett, you know that if you are going to be in CT, there's NO EXCUSE not to come to the nest...LOL!! Tomatoes can wait one more day!!!!
Oops, sorry I misspelled BOZZETT---my mind was on too many things at once!
Jim, we've seen Hidey do a good bit of mantling....(s)he does it very well!!
Rest well, Sissy. See you later ladies...it is TV time here.
later Wanda
Is it just me or is the sound better today?
Hawklady, I think that NCTC tapes the action, but not sure whether they have anyone going back through the tapes to find a particular moment....Paula will know when she gets back on and will post her answer!
Thelma, for some crazy reason I thought that you and the Double S's all grew up together and that you would have known their dad....duh! My misunderstanding!
Tell Buddy we won't talk about him!!!!
later fine friends-i hope you all have a good evening
I did know there dad Lynn. We didn't grow up together though. I "married" into the family.
And now we have adopted her! :)
Sharon, your response to Bozzett was exactly what i was going to say...we are close for sure, but our arms are open!!
Okay, T-bird...gotcha'!! Have a good night. And Sissy, please get to feeling better....even if you aren't going to be with us, don't want you sick for your lake weekend!
Open arms just makes our group hug bigger!
Oh yeah and it is medical transcription week. Have you told your medical transcriptionist how much you appreciate and love them?
Thank you, T-bird. I sent an email to my supervisors today to wish them Happy Medical Transcriptionists Week and she said I must have read her mind. She was just writing an email to send out to the team.
both osprey at FINNEY'S NEST
EGG TURNING, and switch at FINNEY'S NEST
Just saw that Mits with big bird's hind end up right in the nest practically.
Imagine, 4:15 am and light already!
Sounds like my kind of hours !
Chrissy reports that after a long hiatus and concern for Angus's whereabouts all day at the Loch of the Lowe's nest, he showed up with a big Rainbow Trout, and mother and baby got some good eatin' done. Osprey wardens think the
third egg is "still hatching."
MTBR.
Hope our West Coast folks are doing okay.
So, how's the Sea tonight, Helen?
Good to see you back, Vick37
Glad to hear of the positive news today...We're all about Eagles and birds and pandas here, but we're all about each other too. ♥
Pardon my manners...I have just now caught up on the Blog since I bailed out earier today. Mits spread the good news about baby at Loch of the Lowe's getting some chow !

Were your chairs still there?
Wanda - youtube disable my dancing video because of the music. I'll have to find it on a cd somewhere (I backed it up from my computer) and put it on my website.
Howdy Paula....Great night out tonight isn't it?
My Megan Flowers M are about to bloom marigolds! Hope there are not any Snake Seeds in there.

Wanda and/or Lynn..on the outside chance I would get called to work Saturday, I will get the Parfum de Bugkiller to you sometime on Friday -
daughter was watching the webcam earlier, said some people came by to see the nest in a car. Saw flashlights. Is the nest easy to see from the road? Has anyone here been to see it?
WOW surprise ending!!
Vick, you can see the cars passing by on the road outside the NCTC campus. We have been to visit the nest...in fact we are going this Saturday.
You can click on my name, and scroll down the eaglet momsters blog...go down to post dated may 2 or 3...there are pics of the nest that I took.
Could someone tell me where Hidey is?
