Yup! It is the Shark steam mop for hardwood and laminate floors. I have laminate floors and it really does a great job for those in-between thorough cleanings. You just use tap water and it steam cleans ur floor!

Oh Yeah, the Delta 1 nest cam is lovely, a veritable smorgasbord of dead wildlife. There was a fish, a duck and just a few minutes ago the mom/dad was carrying some sort of large rat looking thing. Ahhhh, nature is so beautiful!
Stevie you can go to hancockwildlife.org and click on the camera link, I am mostly watching the 2 views of the Delta 1 nest. I wish I had seen Hidey at that age! Those babies are LITTLE!

Lynne2 I had it up not the close up couldn't make out a duck. Now have both up close and other. Still can't find a duck in that nest. Something in middle near bottom of screen. Is that a turtle shell?

Dana, the duck was, in the close up, on the parent eagles right side and you could see the wing there bent around, but I don't see it now. Maybe it fell out! I think the thing in front is a fish, he was tearing chunks off for the babies a while ago before he stopped and picke up the rat looking thing!
Keep the comments flowing. Let me know what is going on in Delta 1. I have to go prepare food. It's that time again. The bell tolls.

The Delta nest is an old hawk's nest, that's why it's so little...plus, part of it fell off last year and the eagles didn't do any nestorations this year!
One eaglet fell out of it last year, but he was OK...fell out around 9-10 weeks, they found him and kept him a couple of weeks (he was underweight cause big sis was snatching all the goodies), then he was released...his name was Delta Dan

Long day, and I am sleepy. Missed you all and the conversations were great!! So nice to see our newbies so active!
Got my new glasses---no problem with getting used to them---very little change, but nice to have new frames after 4 yrs.! Had lunch w/ friend at hospital and then helped her in her employee-health job the rest of the day.
The lady who came last June and talked with us at the Clarion was one of the Yankauer Preserve people...but that's all I remember. And remember Dianne had just had hand surgery and was quite uncomfortable...they had driven up from Fairfax but wouldn't come into the Eagle Express!

Hi Hedgie! Just stopped back to check on Hidey who is resting so comfortably at the moment! Don't know how far back you read, but I had a snake problem too, as in, it ate the baby bluebirds in the nestbox out front. Found it in there this morning. Packed him up and took him far away and let him go. Glad you like your new glasses!
I know it won't be but even if the food were crappy, the fellowship will be the best.
Should I go to 911 headquarters and give Margy one of my sticky traps for the snake?;) Bless her heart, she does have a time.
Dana, thanks for the link for the recordings on delta 1. I just looked in on them, too and it was duck for dinner part 2, and they have redecorated the nest with the feathers!
Yep, Lynne, saw about your poor baby birds. All of the talk about snakes the last couple of days has been a jinx, I guess....if I understood right, the snake that Margy was talking about was outside the door of the 911 Center.
I have two snake stories but they would take too much space here to tell...they are old news, but even after 23 and 16 years, they are very vivid in my mind!

Mine came out of the crock pot and was plain old Beef! It was very good.
Didn't have sound turned on so don't know what you heard... Was it the barking of a dog - next door neighbor has dogs and there is a road for traffic near by. Sometimes we hear a motorcycle.
BTW - Sun. when I went to the nest I almost Blew my Car Horn so that you knew I was there! That would have been a BIG NO NO - BAD JO Thing to do.

Wow at Delta 1, the second adult came flying in with another rat looking thing and gave it to the one on the nest who proceeded to swallow it whole. It was facinating, in that Nature Can Sometimes Be Gross sort of way!
A little toot would be OK...remember we did that last year...no noisier than other stuff we have heard...
One eaglet in the BWE nest for the night, I guess.

Assured her that was certainly NOT the case! Don't think Jim has been on, either. Just heard that there was another aftershock out there during some of the AI pre-show taping....wonder if there was some damage to internet services or something...??
Me, too, Lolly....and keyboard is so small that I keep hitting the escape key instead of the exclamation mark and end up erasing what I've typed...makes me so mad! And can't make any of our little symbols because there's no seperate number pad!

Now, on my laptop, there is a key that says FN in blue letters. There are also blue numbers on the keys, like m is 0, J is 1, K is 2, and so on. Do you all see those?

Would someone notify that the Pop Up Cam for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Eagle Cam is not functioning.
When I go to 'Report a Problem' - their security codes to type are NOT readable by me! I got about 4 of them incorrect - so I gave up. I do miss the pop up. I guess Steve will be in next week if not tomorrow.

Well I hope that when Deb gets home and when Mits comes in from the balcony, they will say Good Night!

Lynn, bet you have the Fn button as well. On my keyboard it is on the bottom row, left side, next to the Ctrl button. You hold it down as well as thee ALT and press J which also has a 1. Wahoo!☺

Hidey sure looks comfy tonight-- glad the rascal isn't on the EDGE of the nest! Have an interesting thing happening in my yard-- there's a Mourning Cloak butterfly that's been here every day all week, and it's almost figured out how to eat out of the hummingbird feeder! The crazy thing was trying to land on a house finch's back, too! Go figure....
Wow, just realized it's after 10:30 pm here, and I was hoping to get to bed earlier than usual. Guess I'll talk to you guys in the morning. Prayers for all, and G'night! :o]
