Helllllooooooo! I'm back! Actuallky got back this morning around 11 but immediatly hit the yard. Supposed to rain tomorrow and it needed mowing. Have not checked the blog, anything I have to know?
Had a great time. Want you to know I had a stress test this morning, my heart is great. At 6:30 AM Joseph landed on me, yelling for me to wake up. LOL I survived! Boy, am I ever going to get him!!
Jacob and I had our special time at his "tea". He looked so cute, had him all nice and neat, and just when we reached the door of his classroom him yanked his shirt tail out. I had it tucked in, going completely against his wishes. They usually wear school uniforms but today he could wear "tea attire". LOL What is tea attire for a 4 year old boy, you might ask. He wore a nice shirt with shorts.
Magpie...you said today would have been your father's 100th birthday. Wednesday would have been my daddy's 98 birthday. He died in 1969 when he was only 58. I was only 25. We missed so much with him.
Wahoo! Laurel just called. Joseph's baseball team had an upset. They have not won a game and they beat the Num.1 team, 18-14. And, Joseph got the game ball!!! He got it last week, but he was the star tonight and everyone agreed he deserved it. Wahoo!! That's my grandson!!! :)
My daughter told me this evening that a cardinal built a nest in her Wisteria vine and has 5 babies. I asked her to send a photo. I will post it, RICKY, as soon as she sends it and will let you know.
Paula, we should meet in the parking area closest to the road leading to the nest at approx. 10am. I don't know the color, may be the orange lot. Will check that out. We can have lunch whenever we want...no time limits on anything except supper. That will be 5pm at the Tuscany Grille. Gene and I will have lunch prepared and drinks and coffee.
Yes, Lolly, I love some of our wacky new way of spelling things. We all do it and I really get a chuckle from it. Like the new spelling for Loretta...LOWREEDA.LOL
Have to tell you about my SIL's ring tone. When he receives a call from Laurel from her cell or the home phone his phone gives our a warning siren, a voice says Warning, warning......THE WIFE!
Congratulations to Joseph! I can remember going to my grandson's ball games when he was in kindergarten and grade school, and now, on Sunday, he has graduated from college. Where oh where have the years gone?
Lolly, I'm going to try to get my Lap Top up and running by then. Don't know where to begin. Air card, I guess. I want something that I don't need a Hot Spot.
The people in the Ledo's Pizza place that exploded call Loretta Lowreeda! Lots of cards here, too, Ricky. If Boris' web is really something different, please someone capture it and send to Margy, ok? Lolly, my dad passed when he was 50...I was only 20...very difficult...I had never known anyone who died before that.
Lynn, just bring yourself, don't want anyone to have to fool with preparing anything. I think we are going to make Pulled-Bar-B-Q Pork and coleslaw. Maybe mac & cheese.
Thought I would get in here and visit for an hour. It has been a long day but I did relax somewhat this afternoon. Got the luggage for Grad Gift - she wanted PINK~ I found a 3 piece set!
Monday I will be sending to NCTC the list of those coming to the Nest Visit for Security. I will find out the parking area Color (I think orange is closest to the Commons Bldg) I'll email it to all attending.
Hey Jo, put me on the list for visiting NCTC Saturday, please, I'm not sure if I'll make it or not, but just in case. nite all- very long day here, and morning will come really early.
Will do Megan! I had been hoping so I really already did as a Just In Case. I hope to get to Market this Sunday!!!!
Mason's update - There are times I hesitate opening the news - I want so much for Mason to be able to come home! These set backs can twitch your nerves! Prayers and positive thoughts for Mason and his parents are surely needed!!!
Mei seems to be spending almost all of her time in the birthing den....I've only caught her out once whenever i've looked during the last 24 hrs. They did point out onthe news that she went into heat 2 mos. earlier than expected/normal but didn't say whether that is for or against the odds, if it matters.
Lolly & friends - I get to attend this coming Tuesday a Pre K graduation! My 4 yr old ggd Alexis is the student! I had only gone to one other one and that gd is now 23. Time waits for no-one!
Good Morning and just about Good Night...see there is a picture of Boris over on the Eaglet page, but I am fighting just to get it open, so after some sleep, maybe can check it then.
Hidey is up and about, already had a quick parent visit.
Loch of the Lowe's has its first hatch, looks quite windy there, didn't get a look yet...so something for you folks to have a gander at.
Sounds like you all had an enjoyable evening. Work was very busy and some serious calls. And Saturday night is yet to come :(
Good Saturday Wishes to Everyone...gone grab some z's -
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE... Margy, check your email. I sent you a photo of Boris and his artwork. It is a slightly overcast morning here in Martinsburg/Shepherdstown and 63°.
Hidey is sitting on Lib's launch pad. Can't see his head, but know he is looking for a place to land when he fledges. It was so much more fun last year, watching three eaglets interacting with each other. There was Pecky Pearl, who got first dibs on every meal. Then there was Middy who would sneak in and grab a bite when she could get away with it! And then last, but certainly not least...Tiny. He got the left-overs. Remember how he entertained us at our Nest Visit? We thought he surely was going to fledge while we were there. He had lift-off so many times, and each time we thought "this is it". But he didn't fledge for several days after our visit:) Next Saturday, at 10am, we will have the opportunity to experience this again. Hoooray! Hope to see as many of you as possible there!

Where is everyone? It is Friday, and it is always quiet on Friday. Guess I should go read the blog.
Evening, all!
Finally done the lawn, grilled some chicken and had a nice dinner! Watching Farrah's story now.
Wow, check out Spidey's web!!
Howdy Lolly, I'm not caught up either! Glad you had a great time!
Spidey's web is something else! Looks like Hidey is caught in the center on the web. LOL
I guess the spider is going to be a daily show.
Does anyone get to see cardinals in there area? By me there are very few.
Went back and read today's blog.

Ricky they are here all the time.
Where are you?
I have cardinals all over the place! Had a pair nesting close to our back door.
RICKY, we have many cardinals in our area. They love our sunflower seeds and bring their young to the feeder as soon as they can fly.
LOLLY, Tea attire for a 4 year old, is ACTUALLKY a pair of shorts with a shirt tail hanging out;)
Aren't grandchildren wonderful?
Wow Lolly, that was young for both of you.

Wahoo! Laurel just called. Joseph's baseball team had an upset. They have not won a game and they beat the Num.1 team, 18-14.

I think Loretta said the workers at Lido's Pizza called her that. They were all foreigners. We all thought it was cute:)
Next Saturday....shortly after 9 my time, I will be on my computer monitoring the cam. I want to hear a big uproar when you arrive at the nest!
Lolly, I'm going to try to get my Lap Top up and running by then. Don't know where to begin. Air card, I guess. I want something that I don't need a Hot Spot.
